- Below is a ranking of every decent 2d platform puzzler I've played. I've left off ones I played and didn't care for because there were too many. Games are ranked within letter ranks.
- I've omitted games from this genre if:
- - There is a greater emphasis on exploration than puzzle solving (ex. WaDF, Fez)
- - There is a greater emphasis on action than puzzle solving (ex. Jetpack DOS, Solomon's Key, Lost Vikings)
- - They are 2-dimensional but isometric/overhead POV (ex. Adventures of Pinocchio, SpinDizzy Worlds, EDGE)
- - You don't have direct control of your character (Lemmings, Floating Island Game)
