- ---
- After you’ve made a list of questions as a group, start looking for the answers online.
- (Homework: continue doing research to find useful details about your group’s topic.)
- ---
- Get back with your group from yesterday. Talk about the information you found and decide which information is the most useful or important. Find additional information if you think it’s necessary.
- ---
- Then decide on the order to present the information and write an outline (for at least 1 paragraph per person) about your topic.
- ---
- Example: weather and clothes in Boston
- A. Winter
- 1. temperature range
- 2. precipitation (explain “wintry mix”)
- 3. appropriate clothing
- a. what to wear
- b. where to buy
- B. Summer
- (same organization for the other two paragraphs)
- C. Spring and Fall
- ---
- After you have an outline and I have looked at it, you can start writing your information in paragraphs. Your paragraphs should include transitions from the last paragraph.
- ---
- Homework: complete your paragraph about your topic. (Tomorrow, you will have some more time with your group to edit and make corrections on your paragraphs, and then you will read them to the class.)
