  1. In front of her the picture of total devastation and destruction was the first thing to be revealed. The once colorful and filled with life forests were reduced to nothing but ashes and dust. There was no time left to waste. Rushing towards her hometown Jane was heartbroken when she found she was too late. Everything and everyone she'd ever loved was now lost forever in this havoc. For very first time in her life she felt completely alone as if she was thrown into oblivion. There was nobody she could ask for help. The sadness took hold of her just a moment later, followed by the darkness lurking in her heart. "And then I felt like... Something broke inside of me..." Jane whispered to herself as she found the corpse of her little brother. "I saw the evil in its best form and shape..." the vampire closed her eyes. She didn't want to see anything more from that and it was as if her wish was heard. She glared into the freezing void which enveloped her heart into a cold shell, meant to protect her from all the emotions lurking in her heart until the end of time. To Jane's surprise it worked almost right away. When she opened her eyes the first thing in front of her again was her brother but she couldn't feel anything but the anger still burning inside of her. "I'm not myself anymore..." Her voice, filled with emptiness, echoed through all the ruination surrounding the girl. And yet she knew there was something more. There was an endless hatred and fury inside of her, making her press on to prevent the destruction of the world. "Why am I doing all this..?" she whispered to herself the moment she could see the demonic army in front of her. "It's all pointless... And I owe this world nothing..." an odd silence followed and Jane looked around herself, scouting the field for the massacre that was about to follow. Feeling the blood boiling in her veins her lips formed a twisted grin. Jane knew there was no turning back anymore and that was fine by her. The grin grew even wider as the vampire figured out what she was capable of. Making a few cuts in her wrists the vampire let the cursed blood pour down from her veins only to make something seemingly impossible for a mere human. She conjured the mere drops into a long blade, capable of penetration even the thickest of armor only with her mere concentration. Then, without thinking twice Jane dived into the middle of the accursed hellspawns. Cleaved heads, cut off limbs and tons of demonic blood were flying everywhere. Without any remorse or hesitation the girl was slashing her way into the army of hell with one simple intention - to kill all of them. Tireless and enraged all she could see in front of her were walking corpses soon to fall on the ground. And so it happened. No one could retaliate against the quick and swift devastating blows the girl was delivering to everyone in front, around and behind her. No matter how tall, big, strong and intimidating the demons were they kept falling in front of Jane. The void and emptiness holding her were the sole reason of her cunning and seemingly graceful moves, preventing everyone from being able to even touch her while her uncaged fury and anger brought the power to every single of her attacks. In just a few minutes most of the enemies gave up and managed to make their escape, leaving only the most elite warriors and the already slain in her path. "Demonic scum... You will not survive to see the dawn..." the tone of her voice was nothing like Jane's anymore and at that moment she realized the truth. It was impossible for someone to fight evil without giving in to the darkness of the human's heart."We're all fragile it seems... They knew it... And died because of it. Now I'm obviously the next to follow..." An odd silence followed for a couple of seconds. The remaining demon frontline has turned their attention towards the vampire, glaring at her with bloodthirsty eyes and waiting for her to deliver the first strike "Well... Here goes nothing..." Jane looked around herself. She was alone against the few elite commanders and of course the evil leading those creatures. The moment she met his eyes the girl felt the need to not just kill but also inflict as much pain as possible before he could meet. "Berith..." the girl whispered. It was indeed Berith the fallen angel who lead the demons when they captured the vampire queen. It didn't take too long for him to recognize the blood and with an evil grin on his face the fallen angel casted all the remaining demons back to the burning pits of hell, only to be able to face Jane alone. The evil twisted grin on his mouth was an obvious sign of a pleasant surprise. "What happened with you little one..." a sudden feeling of dreadfulness surrounded Jane, shortly followed by a black mist. '...I expected that a holy warrior with reputation such as yours would never succumb to darkness. And yet here you are... Standing in front of me as the thing you swore to destroy.' The mocking and taunting clearly didn't do their job against Jane. She just stood there silently, holding her sword steadily for the first blow. The first strike came from behind her. Concealed within the mist Berith tried to surprise the young vampire but her lightning fast reflexes hit in an instant. She turned around almost right away and blocked the attack, giving her enough time to retaliate. The blade struck the fallen angel's chest but nothing happened. Jane froze for a moment, not actually understanding what was exactly going on and the grin on his face appeared once again as he shoulder bashed the girl on the ground. Their glowing red eyes met and the demon leader pulled his pitchfork from his back, putting it right under her chin. However before he could deliver the final blow Jane managed to concentrate and turn into a mist cloud, materializing behind Berith only to both get a nice grip of his wings and sink her sharp fangs in his neck. A scream followed from his side and as he pushed the vampire away an even louder scream brought from pure agony escaped from between his lips. A rather big piece of his flesh was bitten off, exposing a weak spot on his neck for the blood blade she was still holding along with his wings remaining in Jane's hands. Angered Berith wanted to strike the girl. He wanted to see her hurt and bleeding, begging for mercy on her knees. Deciding to go with brute force he rushed in the vampire's direction, ready to cut her open but all she did was merely sidestep the attack in the last possible moment and slightly lower her sword, letting the whole length of the blade to pass through the demon leader's neck. Crying out in pain he dropped down on his knees. The girl had actually become way stronger than anyone could ever imagine and with his last remaining powers Berith made an attempt to crawl away from Jane to open a portal to escape from the battlefield. However it was all in vain. The creature of the night has already made her way behind him and only the look of her eyes was showing she was hungry for blood. "Just close your eyes. It'll all be over soon." she whispered in his ear after leaning towards his neck but instead of instantly biting the angel again she snapped his neck and with the help of her weapon she beheaded the angel before making it disappear. Taking the pike from his hands she placed her new trophy on top of it with the sole intention to humiliate him as much as possible before proceeding to feast on what remained of his cursed blood.
