[20:07]	`GM	[The girls exit the restaurant in slightly higher spirits, after Dorothy's proclamation that she will make everything better.  Probably!]
[20:09]	`GM	Dorothy:  "I s'pose now's a bad time to tell you I'm on a diet, Agamedes."
[20:18]	Karan	"Exercise could work, too. We'll all be burning a lot more energy for the foreseeable future."
[20:19]	`GM	[Dorothy rubs her arm and looks away.]
[20:19]	`GM	Dorothy:  "I've never been very good at that..."
[20:21]	`GM	Jenna:  "Better start learning then, little niece~"
[20:21]	`GM	[Jenna rumples Dorothy's hair.]
[20:21]	Karan	Karan speaks gently. "No one's good at anything to start with, anyway."
[20:23]	Agamedes	"Dying? Dying's no good Dotty." She tries to call Doorothy a differnt name to see which ticks her off the most and go with that one.
[20:26]	`GM	Dorothy:  "Dotty?  Only my grampa calls me Dotty."
[20:26]	`GM	Dorothy:  "It's... kinda, weird.  You can just call me Dorothy."
[20:28]	`GM	[Jenna shrugs]
[20:29]	`GM	Jenna:  "We could call you by your codename.  I know what it is, you know~"
[20:30]	`GM	[Dorothy looks over at Jenna, a little confused, but almost expectant.]
[20:30]	`GM	Dorothy:  "I have a... code name?"
[20:31]	Karan	"Every MAID does," Karan comments.
[20:32]	Agamedes	"Ok fine, Daughty then. Like.. naughty but with a D, because girls like the D. Right? RIGHT!?" She looks at everyone for approval of her shitty joke.
[20:35]	`GM	[Dorothy looks at Jenna and points at her with both fingers, questioning.]
[20:35]	Meredith	lowers her sunglasses a bit and gives Medes a look that would freeze the air to liquid nitrogen.
[20:39]	`GM	Jenna:  "Medes, Dorothy would like to know if you're for reals."
[20:41]	Karan	Karan folds her arms. "I can confirm she isn't. Somewhat."
[20:45]	`GM	[Dorothy shrugs and walks over to the other side of Agamedes.  While walking, she whispers to her:]
[20:46]	`GM	Dorothy:  {"...I actually think it's kind of funny~"}
[20:58]	Meredith	"I'm honestly just hoping Dorothy's codename isn't as bad as ours."
[20:59]	Karan	"They're not bad."
[20:59]	Karan	"... At least Siren isn't bad," Karan amends.
[21:03]	Agamedes	"At least you didn't get Sluttern as your codename back at school." She pouts walking with the others keeping an eye out for anything remotely interesting.
[21:06]	`GM	[Agamedes feels a sudden sharp pain in her shoulder, as if she's been shot.]
[21:07]	Agamedes	"!..I.. ow.. fuck That hurts!" She was about to make another quip before falling onto her knees.
[21:07]	`GM	[Medes' shoulder starts bleeding.]
[21:08]	Agamedes	"Gnn...guys might want to seek cover." She grins, look around quite in pain looking for some sort of cover.
[21:09]	`GM	Jenna:  "What, what happened?  Medes, what happened?!"
[21:09]	`GM	Jenna:  "Answer me, dammit!"
[21:12]	Agamedes	"Sniper?.. probably. Seek cover Sis. You too Dautty." She looks at the others before ducking behind the minivan, keeping a low profile.
[21:12]	`GM	Dorothy:  "Ohmahgosh, Aga, you're bleeding!"
[21:13]	Agamedes	"Hush and take cover you idiot. Or you'll bleed too."
[21:14]	`GM	[Dorothy hunches down next to Medes, her eyes darting around.  There was no gunshot, was there...?]
[21:16]	Meredith	ducks behind the van, and summons her rabbit to scout.
[21:18]	Karan	Karan dives behind another car, assessing the rooftops for likely sniper positions. Once "safe", she opens her briefcase and a set of blades float out behind her.
[21:20]	Karan	Additionally, a glance at Medes's wound shows... No bullet?
[21:21]	Karan	"It's a MAID," Karan hisses. "Either that, or some gun that shoots invisible bullets."
[21:21]	Karan	Her blades float just above her head, pointing at the roof of a dentist's office and two nearby cars with open windows. "It probably came from one of those."
[21:22]	Agamedes	She winces looking at herself and her wound. "What in the world... might be one of our sis-- oh Karan beated me to it. Poop."
[21:22]	`GM	[Jenna lies prone on the ground next to the car, shielding her eyes from the sun as she looks in that general direction.]
[21:23]	Agamedes	"Who in our program can shoot invisible thingies Sis?" She turns to Jenna, then Dorothy to make sure the two's alright. "Stay out of sight Dorothy, No time to play yet. Someone wants us bad."
[21:24]	`GM	[Karan feels a shooting pain in her leg as a wound opens up on her thigh.]
[21:25]	`GM	Dorothy:  "It's, it's a Maid...?  Oh god, but... why, why'd'they want you?"
[21:26]	Agamedes	"No fair! You suck! Come out and fight like a woman!" She yells out to draw out the assailant, or at least try to.
[21:28]	Karan	Karan reflexively squeezes her calf to apply pressure. At least it's not bleeding too bad...
[21:29]	`GM	Jenna:  "Damn, invisible things...?  I know they were working on a cloaking device for a few girls, but that should be short-range..."
[21:31]	`GM	Jenna:  "Could be telekinesis, like Karan's, but there's no bullet... damn, of course they'd never tell me all the modifications they added after they left the school...!"
[21:36]	`GM	[Jenna reaches up and fumbles the sliding minivan door open.]
[21:36]	`GM	Jenna:  "Dorothy.  Get inside; stay low.  Make sure your mom's okay."
[21:36]	Karan	While Jenna talks Karan sprints between the two cars and spot-checks them. "Tinted windows! Not sure if they're empty!"
[21:39]	`GM	Jenna:  "Then CHECK, damn it!  Use your swords!"
[21:40]	`GM	[Dorothy crawls inside the van as Jenna shuts the door.]
[21:43]	`GM	[Agamedes' taunt seems to attract no attention.]
[21:49]	`GM	[Meredith's rabbit suddenly obtains a deep gash in its side, the gash extending to the tree branch below it.]
[21:50]	Meredith	cries out, and disperses her rabbit into a thick cloud of holoparticles that should cling to an invisible attacker if one is there.
[21:54]	Karan	Karan bashes in the windows of the two cars, revealing no one. Curiously, only the one next to Karan sounds its alarm. She winces.
[21:54]	Karan	"Empty! Aim for the dentist's!"
[21:57]	Agamedes	"Damn it all, think you'll be alright Sis? I'll make sure the other two are okay."
[22:11]	`GM	Jenna:  "Stay here; I can't half-ass fight what I can't full-ass see."
[22:17]	`GM	[As Merry's bunny explodes into glitter particulates, they cling to the outline of a thin, vaguely triangular object that moves down from the tree to the ground.  It hovers in midair, pointing downwards.]
[22:18]	Agamedes	"Okayyyyyy." She brings out her smaller chains so they begin to rotate around her  while trying to fight off the pain. "At least its not a bullet this time."
[22:22]	`GM	[The car alarm continues to peal out.  A few onlookers begin to gather from a distance.  Nothing seems TOO awry at a first glace...]
[22:23]	Meredith	"It's an invisible sword-thing! Go after it!"
[22:24]	`GM	[The sword wobbles back and forth quickly, trying to scatter the particulates.]
[22:31]	Karan	Karan focuses on the blade, attempting to will her TK unit control over the weapon!
[22:31]	Agamedes	tosses with accuracy torward the outlined attacker wrappin the chains around the target holding it tight with her hands. " Hey! Make sure there isn't more than one here."
[22:37]	`GM	[As the sword swings, it disperses a large portion of the glitterdust; in spending the time to do so, however, it stays in place long enough for Medes to see it and attack.]
[22:38]	`GM	[The sword-thing is swiftly bound.  It's about four feet long and seems to have enough of a physical form for the chains to hold it in place, although it struggles mightily.]
[22:39]	Agamedes	"Want to --gnn! Restrain it or destroy it! Better do it soon!"
[22:40]	Meredith	summons a bear to grab it!
[22:52]	`GM	[A lot of things happen at once.  Medes' chains around the sword-thing go slack as one of the links suddenly snaps in two.  Meredith's bear lunges forwards towards the now-falling chains, and gets stabbed by the now free sword-thing, but continues forwards and collides with "something".]
[22:53]	Agamedes	"Shit.. " She clicks her tongue, pulling it ba3ck and letting it repair itself while using a larger set now since the smaller ones aren't going to cut it, well.. they have been cut but you know.
[22:54]	`GM	[The front portion of the bear seems to cease to exist as it continues colliding with the "something".]
[22:58]	Meredith	"It's an invisibility field!"
[22:59]	Meredith	She commands the bear to claw.
[23:03]	`GM	[The claw also ceases to exist as it stretches forwards.  When the claw starts existing again, it is a mangled and slashed bloody mess...  Except holograms don't bleed.]
[23:05]	Meredith	"I got something!'
[23:10]	`GM	[There is a commotion among the bystanders in the background as they start to notice a rampaging bear and other generalized weirdness happening in the parking lot.  The girls have obviously ceased to be inconspicuous.]
[23:11]	Agamedes	"Alright keep it down while I take that thing that's been attacking us." She tosses a much larger chain this time, wrapping around the sword around the hilt of hte blade and upwards to keep it from moving around too much.
[23:13]	`GM	[The chains wrap around thin air; with much of the glitter shaken off the sword, it's difficult to judge exactly where it is in space.]
[23:14]	Agamedes	"DAMMIT.." She wonders if she can control it at this point with the end point so far away from her.
[23:17]	`GM	[Meredith suddenly feels like she's been punched in the gut, with the force of a punch to match.  It doesn't hurt as much as it's just surprising.]
[23:19]	Meredith	"Ow, something hit me!"
[23:24]	`GM	[What can be seen of the remaining glitter seems to be fast approaching Medes' position...]
[23:29]	Meredith	"Medes!"
[23:30]	Agamedes	"Screw this." She lets go of her chains, being nothing more than a normal set of chains once away from her grasp as she got up, with the wound still bleeding out as the girl prepares to punch whatever it is charging at her. She then lunges forward with her fist balled properly and punching at the glitter.
[23:33]	`GM	[Medes' fist connects with something solid well before it reaches the glitter; something very solid and person-like.  Medes also feels something not-quite-solid and invisible-like stabbing her in her side.]
[23:35]	Agamedes	"!!.. Urgh.. F-fuck..." She nearly passes out from the cut as it hit fairly close to her vitals just narrowly avoiding losing a kidney.
[23:35]	`GM	[A female voice speaks from in front of Medes.]
[23:36]	`GM	????:  "Am I fighting like a woman yet?  I don't really know."
[23:36]	`GM	[The voice sounds very flat and lifeless.]
[23:43]	Karan	Karan finally spots the opening she waited for and strikes the figure with the backs of all her blades at once!
[23:59]	`GM	[Karan's four blades disappear as they sail into the invisibility field.  Three exit it.  Medes is close enough to hear a female voice grunt in pain.]
[00:00]	`GM	????:  "Nnffhh...  But, three against one, now that doesn't seem to be fighting very ladylike, does it?"
[00:07]	Luize	"Who in the fuck!? " She narrows her eyes on the voice, and grabs the blade with her prosthetic hands holding it tight. "You're not going anywhere!"
[00:10]	`GM	????:  "I'm not.  I'm going nowhere."
[00:11]	`GM	[Medes feels the pressure of her prosthetic hands shift as the blade feels like it stops existing, which also increases the bleeding at her side.]
[00:18]	Luize	At this moment Medes attempts to pull her chain from the missed sword and attempt to restraining the body instead.
[00:20]	`GM	[The chains swing at thin air.  Whoever the female voice belongs to is no longer standing in front of Medes, and the last remnants of the glitter on the sword have vanished.]
[00:22]	Luize	"GAh.. dammit. You lied, fucking cunt." she growled, the loss of blood getting the best of her more temperate demeanor.
[00:28]	Meredith	banishes her bear, and summons her bunny again. It listens closely for the enemy.
[00:28]	Karan	Karan whips her blades out in a spiral, sweeping out to find the mystery assassin!
[00:33]	`GM	[Despite their best efforts, neither Karan nor Meredith are able to discern the whereabouts of the enemy.  Plenty of speckles of blood dot the pavement where the invisible blade was most active, but there seems to be no trail of it heading off away from the scene of battle.]
[00:42]	Luize	"Nghgnn... damn I forgot how powerful our own kinds are..." She struggls to keep awake and not passing out from all the injuries.
[00:43]	`GM	[Jenna walks over to Medes and presses her hand against the deep wound.]
[00:44]	`GM	Jenna:  "It's worse when they're invisible.  Don't beat yourself up over it.  You did good."
[00:45]	`GM	Jenna:  "Let's just get the hell out of here."
[00:47]	Luize	"Yeah..mmm. But still Aunt Jimema..I want pancakes after this.." She pouts, getting up but still very cautious of her surroundings.
[00:48]	Karan	"Agreed, on both accounts," Karan sighs. She takes the driver's seat of the car, wary of the civilians' eyes.
[00:49]	`GM	Jenna:  "Widow.  Her name was Widow.  I didn't remember until I saw the swords."
[00:50]	`GM	Jenna:  "They tried to give her full-blown telekinesis, like you Medes, but it didn't work, like you Medes.  Best she can do is compress air into a near-solid force."
[00:51]	Karan	Karan mentally hefts the blade that drew blood.
[00:51]	Karan	"Steel beats air."
[00:51]	`GM	[Jenna gives a weak smile.]
[00:51]	`GM	Jenna:  "Well, you're a later generation than her, after all~"
[00:52]	`GM	Jenna:  "She used to be so cheerful...  Wonder what they did to her."
[00:53]	Luize	"Hooray for being a first generation." She sighs getting around keeping her chains close to her in an armor of sort before looking down at her hands. "I need to repair this too.. damn."
