Q: Why did you come in late?
A: I apologize but I woke up late and Ashino wouldn't stop ringing my mobile (laughs)

Q: What happened to Ange during the last part of episode one, you know what I'm talking about
A: I'll leave it to your imagination, King Records would sue me if I said anything!

Q: Was it intentional that Cross Ange looks and feels like MSG SEED?
A: No, the original Villkiss colors wasn't like it is now but our art director suggested that we paint it the same way like the Freedom. Bandai Namco and Sunrise liked it but I have yet to see a plamo of it yet.

Q: What is Embryo Fukuda-san?
A: (laughs), you should ask Seki-san about that

Q: What was your reaction when you were first approached for this project?
A: Cross Ange was one of my suggestions when SEED Destiny finished and when they wouldn't let me do a movie, it took a while but they accepted it back in December 2012

Q: Who designed the Paramails?
A: Myself, Hirada-san, Sue-san and a lot of people. I asked Katoki-san about transforming robots in Gundam and he provided me with a great insight on how it should be done.

Q: Last night's episode, how and where did Ange-san put her ring case?
A: (Nana laughs and cuts him off) A girl has many pockets, maybe she took it from Salia's dress?

Q: Is the opening and ending complete Fukuda-san?
A: Almost, the opening has better timing than before but it still has some issues that need to be fixed at future volumes

Q: Who was your first choice in voicing Ange?
A: Mizuki-san was always my first choice but I was afraid initially she'd turn it down due to content. But after sitting down with Mizuki-san and her representatives she read the script and she laughed and asked me if this was okay for TV. Mizuki-san then suggested if she can call up Horie-san and Tamura-san for this project and we got in touch with Starchild one day after.

Q: People say you've gone too far with last night's episode, any explanation?
A: I think that was good character development for Salia-chan and more importantly Ange-chan. Embryo tried to break her mind but Ange's mind was strong and her heart belonged to Task.

Q: You tweeted a week ago that episode 21 and 22 will have character deaths
A: (entire cast and staff laughs with Miyano coughing on the mic and apologizing and pinching Tamura on the cheek) No comment, just watch it! (laughs)

Q: So much disfigured animation in this show, was it intentional?
A: I apologize to everyone but since Ashino-san replaced episode 14 we had to redraw and redo almost everything. We are racing against time for the finale but the animation should be fine in the coming episodes

Q: Is the ending in place already?
A: Yes but I won't spoil it

Q: Why did you kill Captain Zola so early? You could have waited until later
A: Neya-san was great in her short time in the studio but she had other commitments so Zola had to be killed. Our original plan is to have her defend Arzenal and she dies in Hilda's arms telling her to fight on.

Q: How did Salamandinay learn to play sports?
A: Salamandinay is a great researcher in Aura's world, she knows a lot compared to her kin

Q: Can you spoil next episode please? Will Task or Momoka die?
A: Please understand and just watch the next broadcast

Q: Was Salia physically used by Embryo?
A: I'd like to think yes because those costumes need payment

Q: Will there be a season two?
A: I'd love to but its not for me to decide. Please buy the blu-ray and DVD if you want more Cross Ange in the future!

Q: Can you explain what happened to Ange and Salamandinay?
A: It was alternate worlds, in some worlds Ange and Salako were bitter enemies and in the others they were really good friends!

Q: What are some original ideas that were scrapped that you can tell us?
A: That's an interesting and deep question, one of our early drafts include Ange becoming the First Troop captain but that would overshadow the other girls so we went with Hilda first until we settled with Salia

Q: What is Salia's problem?
A: I don't dislike Eri-san but Salia has been annoying as of late

Q: I don't know if this is for you or Kuwashima-san but why is Vivian still alive?
A: (Kuwashima playfully scolds the guy for being mean in Vivian's voice but she wonders herself then turns it over to Fukuda) I don't know really!

B. Nana Mizuki

Q: Do you like playing as Ange-chan?
A: Of course! Ange is really an interesting girl since she takes no for an answer!

Q: What was your reaction on all those ecchi scenes?
A: I keep telling the director and producer that they're so mean to Ange and should be ashamed. A princess like Ange deserves princess treatment!

Q: Who is more of a pervert, Moka-san or Ange-san?
A: I'd say Moka since she does it on purpose while Ange is just unlucky

Q: Ange came a long way from hating Norma to killing Embryo, yet she still suffers?
A: Ange is a strong girl, she still adheres to her mother's advice of survival

Q: Nana-san, where did Ange put her ring case last episode?
A: (laughs) A girl has many pockets...that's it (crowd laughs)

Q: Will Ange have her own Cafe in the end?
A: I hope so but I won't say anything

Q: Will you sing Eternal Blaze with Hilda?
A: She has to pay me 700 million if she wants to (Tamura then calls her a bully)

Q: Ange has trouble following authority especially her superiors, why is that?
A: Ange does things what she wants and what she thinks its right, besides Jill is a bad commander after all and Ange will never take orders from Salia

Q: Why is Ange violent?
A: (laughs) She is? But she's trying to kill the villain? I pinched Toshihiko-san's hand really hard when Ange plunged her knife to Embryo. He was crying afterwards but he was a good sport

Q: Does Ange really love Tusk and not Hilda?
A: Yes, Ange is disappointed Tusk hasn't proposed to her yet (looks at Miyano). What a lousy guy! (audience laughs, Miyano retorts that there is no Jasmine Mall inside the Aurora)

Q: Who is your favorite character other than Ange?
A: Vivian! I always wanted to play energetic, strong and cute girls! If Houko-san wouldn't let me then I'll be fine playing as Salamandinay

Q: Why did Ange cut her hair?
A: I really like Ange with long hair just like I do but the director said it was for development

Q: Was it easy for you to transition to ecchi scenes to dramatic scenes?
A: Yes, I went to a character actress seminar around 2006 where all we did was voice ecchi and hentai stuff because soft ero was becoming more popular. As for the drama scenes, I learned alot from past projects

Q: Will Tusk kiss Ange with the moon on the background?
A: (familiar soft voice) Tusk-kun is not a ninja though

Q: Will we see more Kindan no Resistance in your future concerts?
A: Yes absolutely, we played it twice in Singapore last year and in Nagoya this year and I'm thankful the fans loved the song

Q: One guy asked you your favorite character but who do you despise?
A: It has to be Salia. Salia acts like a jealous girl but Ange will be better...right Eri-chan? (Eri-chan mutters I don't deserve this and the audience roared in laughter)

Q: Please Nana-san, tell Sunrise to make another season!
A: Thank you but its not my call, I heard Nerima will be disbanded after this show. Maybe Studio Gundam (Studio 1) will pick us up!

C. Mamoru Miyano

Q: Why all the crotchdiving?
A: Those were accidents, no guy should ever do that. Fukuda-san told me it would be funny so back in episode 5 broadcast I bump on Nana and Uesaka's bellies to get it as real since they would slap me hard if I did that for real right?

Q: Nana asked why Tusk hasn't proposed yet?
A: Will Tusk even get an opportunity? Tune in next week everyone

Q: Is Tusk's mother a Norma?
A: According to Higuchi-san yes, they were supposed to have a backstory in episode 14 but Ashino-san changed the script. They were supposed to be voiced by myself and Nana-san.
A (Ashino): Tusk's father and mother were polar opposites, Tusk's father was focused on Embryo and survival while Tusk's mother had a big crush on him. You can say Tusk's father was playing hard to get until Tusk's mother got him for herself. Jasmine did not approve at first but they were low on personnel and should be looking forward to the future.

Q: Will Tusk die next episode?
A: I hope the previews are wrong, I don't want to go anywhere!

Q: Why did Tusk say four children? That's expensive!
A: Ange is a princess, the way she lived we can have at least ten! (laughs)

D. Yukari Tamura

Q: How did Hilda forgive Ange after causing an accident early in the show?
A: Hilda forgave Ange because she helped her get to her mama and they promised to destroy the world

Q: Fukuda-san said in an interview that Hilda is going to get killed, what your thoughts about it?
A: I hope not! I wish Hilda be a part of Cafe Ange. Fukuda-san, you're not mean enough to kill Hilda right? (everyone laughing)

Q: Did Hilda love Zola?
A: No, Hilda thought that by being in good terms with Zola she'd help her leave Arzenal

Q: What was your reaction to all those ecchi scenes earlier in the show?
A: I asked myself why am I doing this but then I saw YuiKaori doing their scenes naturally so I had to step up

Q: Hilda does not have Laguna mail for her, what does it mean?
A: It's okay, at least Hilda is the captain now!

Q: I find it strange you're not singing in this show?
A: I would but Nana-chan has to pay me 800 million

Q: Is there any chance for more Hilda and Ange in future episodes?
A: I won't spoil anything! (laughs)

Q: Does Hilda like Tusk?
A: Yes but she loves Ange more and Tusk only loves Ange so Hilda is in a pinch right now

Q: Why did Sala appear late in the show?
A: The draft was revised, did you know I was supposed to show up on episode 7 broadcast but King Records requested that they make an episode for Salia to help promote Eri-chan's album

Q: How did Sala build the Enryugo?
A: Sala is a great scientist and researcher in addition to being a guardian, she built the two Ryushinki first before the Enryugo

Q: How does Sala know about morning intercourse?
A: She read love books and manga left over from the old earth

Q: Who is a better pilot, Salako or Salia?
A: Salako of course, Salia is only acting because Embryo bought her Sailormoon costumes!

Q: Unlike in your other works, you don't interact with Miyano-san often
A: Actually one of the drafts include Tusk falling down to my crotch and I'd fall for him but Ashino-san had other ideas (laughs)
A (Mizuki): It's okay Hocchan, you already won many relationships from Keitaro Urashima to Cinque Izumi, give me a chance!

Q: Where is Sala's mother and father?
A: Ashino-san never thought about putting dragon parents and Lamia was a late addition from the revised episode 14 script

Q: How and when did Sala learn to play baseball, golf and racing?
A: Sala is a genius! She's been playing for years until Ange matched her

Q: Where do dragons get their food from?
A: If not humans (laughs), then I guess they were farming animals and planting crops?

Q: Why is Task holding Salamandinay's katana in the opening?
A: Salako's katana? That's a secret right Miyano-kun? ❤❤❤❤❤

Q: Who is your favorite character in the show who is not Sala?
A: Vivian! I like giving out quizzes! She is adorable!

Q: You mentioned a change in episode 7, could you explain that?
A: Ashino-san and Fukuda-san was supposed to debut Sala on that broadcast and she would fight Ange like in the opening but it was cancelled around episode 5 due to circumstances. Sala would beat Ange though don't worry! (audience laughing)

Q: Sala does not do ecchi stuff like Ange and Hilda?
A: Sala is a prim, proper lady and should not need do ecchi stuff like gorilla princess (Ange) and her sidekick

Q: When will we get a Salako dakimakura?
A: I was disappointed that Sala barely has merchandise, will you buy it if it existed (audience screams a loud YES). At least I'll still have Robot Damashii in the future!

Q: Fukuda-san didn't answer this but what is Embryo?
A: Embryo is the creator, the tuner of the world. Is he a god? He doesn't think so

Q: But Embryo can revive the dead, come back to life instantly, heal people and teleport...?
A: Intriguing isn't it? I feel really powerful when I play Embryo

Q: What was your reaction when you were cast as the main villain?
A: But Embryo is not a bad guy! He only wants a peaceful and prosperous humanity

Q: Last time you mentioned you practiced the Endless Song to not embarrass yourself...
A: Yeah, I kept singing it and people started calling me Embryo-san...

Q: Embryo went too far last episode, is Embryo a pervert?
A: Embryo is a gentleman, he wanted revenge for Ange killing him multiple times. If Ange weren't as violent he wouldn't have played with her head and made her do ecchi stuff at his leisure

Q: Out of all Embryo's powers, which one do you like the most?
A: Controlling other people's minds (laughs). How many bad guys in anime can say they made Nana-san squirm in pain and pleasure? (audience laughs)

Q: How different is Embryo from Rau (from MSG SEED) and Rey (from MSG SEED Destiny)?
A: Very. Embryo is a much cooler and more powerful than the two of them. Also, I don't have to deal with Soichiro-san's powerlevel which is very high! (Miyano butts in and says there is no God in this world in one of his famous voices)

Q: Does Embryo have other clothes?
A: Yes but he's pretty comfortable with what he has

Q: How old is Embryo?
A: I was told thousands of years but Ashino-san should explain that more, right Ashino-san?
A (Ashino): I'm not spoiling anything!

Q: Did Embryo brainwash Salia and the others?
A: No, Embryo just gave them what they wanted the most since they were easy. Take Salia-chan, she pledged herself for mahou shoujo costumes so to Embryo she has become a disposable tool

Q: What is Embryo's history with Jill?
A: Jill was Ange who failed and Embryo had his way over her, if Jill had someone like Tusk she wouldn't break so easily. I'm just joking, if Jill had someone like Tusk then Embryo will just remove him out of the picture

Q: Last night Embryo became a villain synonymous with a blonde guy with golden armor from another show with his obsession over Ange...
A: But Embryo is not a villain! I agree that Seki-san should be on this show but where should we put a king like him? I mean no one on the cast has magic that turns worlds into swords right? (cast and audience laughing)

Q: Who does Embryo like more? Salia or Alektra?
A: Tricky question, would I rather get beat up by Eri-san or Takako-san? You know what I'll just say Alektra because she was a princess

Q: Why is Embryo's robot named Hysterika?
A: Watch the following episodes and you might know. I requested Fukuda-san that he gives Embryo a super machine, stronger than the Providence and the Legend!

Q: Can Embryo be killed?
A: Ange killed him multiple times in the past two broadcasts, but can Ange kill him permanently? Can he?

A: Ange took everything from Salia and last night she almost took my Embryo-sama! Ange is just a mean bully!

A: Look at it this way, Salia never had a boyfriend like Ange and then Embryo-sama saves her and gives her a fancy place to live in...Why shouldn't Salia fall in love?

Q: On internet message boards, forums, blogs and even international sites all express their disgust and disdain over Salia, how does that make you feel?
A: I feel terrible these past month, some people tweet me bad things and some stalkers sent me razor blades in my apartment! I called the cops and I was scared so Fukuda-san told me that everything is going to be alright

Q: Who will win against Salia and Salako?
A: Salia will win because Sala has an inferior robot and Salia is a better pilot, right Horie-san?

Q: Can Salia be saved and return to the good side?
A: Salia saved Ange right? That counts for something. I hope Ashino-san and Fukuda-san won't kill Salia (audience laughing). Ange is ungrateful though!

Q: Who came up with Shining Rose Triangle?
A: Fukuda-san approached me and asked me if I can help him name Salia's new squad so I picked Diamond Rose Knights because it fits Salia's character more so a bit of Sayaka wouldn't hurt right?

Q: Can you preview us your upcoming Pretty Salian Drama CD?
A: Sure (she plays a part along with Tamura which sent the audience laughing)

Q: What can you say to people who hate Salia?
A: Salia does not deserve to be hated, she just wants to be loved and I feel sad that many people dislike her

Q: How did Salia acquire an Arquebus?
A: In the original script Salia also had a Grave but she saved money to buy an Arquebus from a former captain who got killed in another team

Q: Salia was dumped last night for Ange, how does it make you feel?
A: When I first read the script during recording I pinched Toshihiko-san for lying to me and how could he?
A (Toshihiko): I wish I had teleport because Eri-san's pinch hurt a lot (audience laughing)

Q: If the unthinkable happens, will you accept Salia's fate?
A: I cry everytime during recording because Tamura-san and Mizuki-san keep bullying me. I'm just like Salia I guess...Maybe I should just burn everything like Hilda? I also know Fukuda-san makes fun of Salia during production and keeps saying "Why isn't she dead yet?" (audience goes off laughing and Fukuda makes a guilty face)

Q: Does Salia love Embryo?
A: Yes but Embryo-sama betrayed my trust. That's it I'm going to pinch Toshihiko-san again next recording!

Q: Will Salia sing the Endless Song?
A: I'm not allowed to say anything, besides everyone is just waiting for Salia to get beat up again (audience laughs)

Q: Which character do you like best other than Salia?
A: I choose Vivi-chan because she's the only one nice to Salia

Q: Both Task and Embryo want Ange, who gets to be with Salia then?
A: I wish Salia had her own Endymion but Ashino-san told me there would be no more male characters added

Q: What was your reaction when Vivian was revealed to be a dragon?
A: At first I was heartbroken because that would mean Fukuda-san will kill my character off again (audience laughs)

Q: Vivian has avoided too many deathflags at this point...
A: Vivian is lucky and I hope she lives

Q: Why isn't Vivian on a Laguna mail? There's a pink one for the taking!
A: Quiz Time! Why should Vivian ride a Laguna mail?

Q: Who is the better pilot: Vivi-chan, Ange, Hilda, Salia or Salamandinay?
A: It's got to be Vivi-chan! Ange, Salia and Salamandinay have strong robots don't they and Hilda has less kills than Vivi-chan

Q: What do you think about the upcoming conflict between Ersha and Vivian?
A: Let's see, Koshimizu-san has a Laguna mail and I don't so how can I match Koshimizu-san's great power?

Q: How does Vivian see Tusk?
A: Vivian sees Tusk as an older brother and how he saves Ange and later on Mii-chan's mother gave her a great deal of respect for him

Q: What position does Vivian take in Cafe Ange?
A: The one who eats the food! (audience laughs)

Q: How difficult it is to play two different characters on the same show?
A: Not so much, Liza and Emma don't show up in the same episode!

Q: Regarding Liza, how much was she on the influence of Misurugi politics?
A: Not a lot since her influence starts and ends with Julio

Q: Momoka saved Liza from Sylvia last night, what happens to Liza now?
A: I don't know, apologize to Ange perhaps? She also needs to punish Sylvia for hurting her

Q: What will happen to Emma?
A: She should stop drinking and start eating pizza (audience bursts out in laughter)

Q: How did Liza end up in Misurugi?
A: Liza was a spy but even I do not know
A (Ashino): Liza was secretly dropped to Misurugi and started from the bottom until she became the Imperial Secretary. Like female spies she used everyone and everything to get to her position so they can rescue Aura


J. Yui Ogura

Q: What does Chris think of attacking the Aurora?
A: Chris is thankful that Embryo-sama saved her so she's willing to do as he asks

Q: What was your reaction when you're going to do ecchi scenes?
A: I was surprised but I'm supposed to be used to it by now (audience laughs)

Q: Will Chris sing the Endless song?
A: I hope not! I don't want to pay Toshihiko-san 700 million!

Q: What did Chris do when Hilda ran away with Ange?
A: Chris was depressed because she really loved Hilda, she wished Hilda never called her a pest

Q: Fukuda-san said that characters will die on episode 21 and 22, do you think Chris is part of that?
A: I don't want Chris to die, she's a good girl (audience laughs)

Q: Why did it take so long for you and Kaori-san to do a preview?
A: Fukuda-san and Ashino-san wanted Nana-san to do the previews save for special episodes and when we begged the two of them they finally caved in

Q: What did Rosalie feel when Hilda confessed her love to Ange?
A: It was okay since Rosalie loves Chris more than Hilda

Q: How did Rosalie get three kills in a Grave?
A: Rosalie is actually a good pilot and she teaches Mary, Nono and Marika how to properly fly a Paramail

Q: Will Rosalie and Chris ever return to good terms?
A: I hope so but it doesn't look too good for the both of them next episode

Q: Who came up with the bullying during episode 4?
A: Fukuda-san did and told me that Rosalie is going to bully Ange only to fail multiple times. Mizuki-san told me to come up with the best bullying I can come up with


L. Sumire Uesaka

Q: How did Momoka end up in Ange's service?
A: Momoka's family has been serving Angelise's family for generations and Momoka's mother was also the top maid to Ange's mother until she retired

Q: Momoka's displays of loyalty are legendary...
A: Momoka and Angelise don't have a master-slave relationship, they are best friends and Momoka has accepted Angelise even when she's a Norma

Q: Will Momoka survive next episode?
A: Of course she should! Angelise-sama needs to change her underwear

Q: What is Momoka's preferred weapon of choice?
A: Pepper bombs! It worked during the fall of Arzenal. If not she can wield two ladles (audience laughs)

Q: What does Momoka think of Tusk?
A: Worthy companion for her Angelise-sama, with all the princes around only Tusk came to her aid multiple times


M. Ami Koshimizu

Q: Ersha did the unthinkable a week ago by shooting at Vivian, Koshimizu-san please explain yourself...
A: Vivi-chan is being a bad girl (in her Ersha voice)

Q: Does Ersha know Embryo is evil?
A: Yes, but she has to work for him because he saved all of her children. Ersha doesn't like Embryo, she thinks he's a voracious animal

Q: How do you cope with a busy schedule, you are voicing Gundam and Cross Ange on the same day?
A: It really is tiring but I enjoy both shows since I get to pilot powerful mecha on Tomino-san and Fukuda-san's shows!
