Damian_Alpha: so, base degree has base damage 10+STR bonus, halves the penalty for disarm maneuvers, and allows you do deal half your unarmed damage with a successful unarmed disarm attempt.
Pilz-chama: makes sense, also BRB

Damian_Alpha: Advanced degree drops the penalty for disarm to zero, grants +10 --ATTACK-- and +10 MK, and allows you do deal full unarmed damage with a successful unarmed disarm attempt.
Pilz-chama: alright
Damian_Alpha: And then the supreme degree grants another +10 attack, +10 MK, and disarm maneuvers performed as a counterattack do not use up an attack and can be performed any number of times in a single round without adding an additional attack penalty, provided the martial artist does not lose his right to make active actions.

Damian_Alpha: Level one requires the advanced degree of either Malla-Yuddha, or Prodosia Grothia.  Grants +10 Attack and Block, 10 MK, and when you successfully disarm an opponent's weapon, you may make an immediate attack using the weapon's base damage and any damage type freely available to the weapon (you couldn't use special abilites of the item, but you could still cut/stab a motherfucker rather than doing impact damage) but with your unarmed attack rating, no bonuses for weapon quality may apply.
Damian_Alpha: And then level two gets nasty.

Damian_Alpha: level two allows the character to declare a Defensive Fan against melee attacks, provided he ONLY can perform disarm maneuvers as counter-attacks.
Pilz-chama: how's a defensive fan work again? (can tell me once you're done)
Damian_Alpha: defensive fan allows you do declare a -40 to your chosen defense, in exchange for ignoring ALL ADDITIONAL DEFENSE PENALTIES against the attacks.   In this case, the character can effectively shrug off an unlimited number of attacks as if they were all minor inconveniences, and if they have the supreme degree of Prodosia Grothia can perform disarm maneuvers against ALL of them at no penalty, dealing full unarmed damage in the process, and then getting another FREE attack using the base damage of their opponent's weapon.

Damian_Alpha: Mallah-yuddha supplements this by granting the fortitude bonuses to ignore breakage-related damage for blocking said attacks, and can be further augmented with aikido (to further enhance defence and counter-attacks),  Emp (For the sick +3 characteristic bonus to disarm attempts) and any martial art that grants a high damage such as boxing, shotokan, or Muay Thai.
