  7. [2014-08-20 20:34:47]<EchoesOfDeath> A screams from the horde can be heard already at the shelter. The masses of infected move slowly and chaotically, but leave a path of destruction. Not a full hour remains until the safehouse is surrounded
  8. [2014-08-20 20:37:40]<EchoesOfDeath> "Sure you wanna leave? That'd be an awful waste of a nice flank." The gunspony says to Star_Spotter, still lying down on his messy mattress.
  9. [2014-08-20 20:38:34]* Star_Spotter smirks and flicks her tail to the side. "I have to dear. My students and friends are in danger." she says. "I'm afraid I must certainly go back to help them against the horde." She starts to fly up
  10. [2014-08-20 20:39:57]* Swift_Hurddle kicks open the roof access door and quickly trots in, a large number of supplies on his back . "Ok, this is starting to get heavy. Lets get it all inside before more of those flying ones show up"

  12. [2014-08-20 20:42:15]<EchoesOfDeath> Star_Spotter barely leaves the store and she spots the stray infected from before, who had been wandering outside of the store.
  13. [2014-08-20 20:42:49]* Star_Spotter curses as she takes out the shot gun, ready to take these ponies on
  14. [2014-08-20 20:43:32]* Backlash starts to reconsider her special mission, considering the commotion outside. She sticks by a window with her cleaver, watching out for the imminent horde.
  15. [2014-08-20 20:45:04]* Swift_Hurddle trots down the steps, legs shaking a bit as he keeps his trove of snack cakes balanced. "Hello ponies, guess what we found. Snack cakes, goodies, and other such noms packed with enough perservatives to outlast any plague. come and get it"
  16. [2014-08-20 20:46:12]* Backlash runs to help the aching pon with his burden, taking snacks from the pile and laying them on any nearby surfaces.
  17. [2014-08-20 20:47:51]* Swift_Hurddle expells a deep breath, "wow, thanks Backlash. Not that heavy really but try dragging them up stairs and jumping a building with them. How was your trip, as productive as ours?"

  25. [2014-08-20 20:57:24]<EchoesOfDeath> Two of the infected have their heads blown to bits. The third one tries to flail under Star_Spotter but she is too high up. She can see movements on the alleys around her.

  29. [2014-08-20 20:58:40]* Star_Spotter blinks as she looks to the alleys and sighs. She yells to the gun store pony, if he can her her. "LOCK UP THEY'RE COMING!" She warsn then tries to fly away

  31. [2014-08-20 20:58:52]* Swift_Hurddle chuckles, "yes, yes, we are all dangerous survivors"
  32. [2014-08-20 21:01:58]* Swift_Hurddle takes a few steps further into the book stoor, nose sniffing a bit at the stuffy air and smell of sweaty ponies. "Already missing outside... say where is everypony?"
  33. [2014-08-20 21:03:40]<Backlash> 'The fillies should be upstairs somewhere. Teacher's out and about. The griffon's probably... off sulking somewhere.' She shrugs.
  34. [2014-08-20 21:05:19]* Swift_Hurddle grabs a few of the snacks, "alrighty, I think ill run these up to Rosebee and Raven. Im sure the other ponies here will be glad for the snacks as well, specially that sick one we brought in earlier, poor guy was half starved"

  36. [2014-08-20 21:06:50]* Swift_Hurddle nods and carries the snacks upstairs, leaving his axe behind. "Rosebee, Raven, were back and have goodies!"
  37. [2014-08-20 21:07:02]<EchoesOfDeath> Star_Spotter glances at a flier infected descending towards her and missing. As he lands, a loud gunshot blows its head into paste. The gunpony is at the entrance of the store holding a smoking rifle. "Come back some time, will ya?"

  39. [2014-08-20 21:07:27]<Backlash> 'To be honest, I haven't been hanging out much with the others. feels like I'd be intruding, know what I mean? that perch mare sure does care about her friend...'
  40. [2014-08-20 21:12:12]<EchoesOfDeath> The infected keep moving, dispersing, rejoining and making their way forward. Soon they are one block away from the bookstore. A cloud of fliers and griffin hovers over the masses, and twisted screams come from within it. Only then Star_Spotter spots the safehouse herself, but moving closer now might attract their attention.

  47. [2014-08-20 21:22:26]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee is looking at the window of the second floor, full of dread. "There is a ton of them out there." She whispers "Are we safe?"
  48. [2014-08-20 21:22:40]* Star_Spotter works her hardest to start to bring the clouds together, trying to make a big and strong enough thundercloud to confuse the zombies. She rears up on them, and bats the cloud hard with a buck
  49. [2014-08-20 21:23:38]* Swift_Hurddle tosses the snacks asside, joining her looking over her sholder, "By Celestia... I-I dont know. That is a Buck ton o fthem. Glad I got back home before they showed up", he whispers back.
  50. [2014-08-20 21:26:35]<EchoesOfDeath> The horde screams louder, many of them turning towards the thunder... and towards Star_Spotter's direction.

  58. [2014-08-20 21:35:10]* Star_Spotter smirks and takes out her shiney new rifle with a small scope and smirks, hoping this would help her take out some
  59. [2014-08-20 21:36:23]<EchoesOfDeath> Backlash can notice Star_Spotter pulling her rifle out, and a number of fliers and ground infected moving towards her.
  60. [2014-08-20 21:37:28]* Star_Spotter takes a shot with her rifle
  61. [2014-08-20 21:41:37]* Swift_Hurddle gasps, "Somepony is up there!"

  63. [2014-08-20 21:42:08]* Swift_Hurddle shakes his head, "No idea"
  64. [2014-08-20 21:42:23]* Swift_Hurddle looks worried, "But whoever it is they are crazy"
  65. [2014-08-20 21:42:43]* Cambiance_ frowns. "Should we help? Can we?"
  66. [2014-08-20 21:43:54]* Backlash panics. 'Fucking stupid filly! It's Star!' She starts freaking out a little bit and can't seem to decide between panic and anger.

  68. [2014-08-20 21:44:46]* Swift_Hurddle eyes pop open wide and whips around to Backlash, "What? how-why, what? No, are you sure?"
  69. [2014-08-20 21:47:47]<EchoesOfDeath> One flier zooms past Star_Spotter, missing her by a good deal, but she can see already two more circling towards her.
  70. [2014-08-20 21:48:23]* Star_Spotter makes a quick switch to the shotgun she had loaded before, taking a shot at the two fliers, hoping they fly right into the bullets
  71. [2014-08-20 21:50:09]<EchoesOfDeath> The infected dive towards the buckshot and are slain, falling limply towards the street
  72. [2014-08-20 21:50:29]<Backlash> 'Yeah, I'm sure. ...Shit, what do we do?!' She dances around in place fretfully.
  73. [2014-08-20 21:50:42]<Cambiance_> "W-w-well, we have to help her, right? I mean, we can't do anything else."
  74. [2014-08-20 21:51:34]* Swift_Hurddle grimaces.... "I... Dont,,, UGHgg!!!", Turning he looks outside to the streets, "there HAS to be a way!"
  75. [2014-08-20 21:52:52]* Swift_Hurddle Glancing to the streets he quickly scans over what he sees, spoting a sky carriage he poitns to it. "There! we can go get her!!!"
  76. [2014-08-20 21:56:00]* Swift_Hurddle turns and runs back to the roof entrance, "Come on!"
  77. [2014-08-20 21:56:21]* Cambiance_ draws her machete. "On my way!"
  78. [2014-08-20 21:57:15]* Swift_Hurddle snags his axe on the way as he make his way to the roof access again, rushing to the side of the roof and looking down onto the street. "Is it anywhere near clear?"
  79. [2014-08-20 21:57:48]<Swift_Hurddle> \me *redact, Swift says this as he clears the door.
  80. [2014-08-20 22:01:57]* Backlash follows Swift_Hurddle up, still a bit frazzled, knife in hoof.
  81. [2014-08-20 22:02:44]<EchoesOfDeath> At some point Raven joined behind Rosebee and the others, gliding quietly. "What is the plan?"
  82. [2014-08-20 22:03:00]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee looks back. "Should we call the others?"
  83. [2014-08-20 22:04:07]* Cambiance_ looks around. "I'm not sure if there's time to get the others. Miss Star looks like she's in trouble."
  84. [2014-08-20 22:04:54]* Swift_Hurddle liffts a hoof and points to the edge of the roof facing where the chariot is. "No, we need bodies here to protect those who cant help. If this gos wrong they still need somepony here. Some of us will go down there and secure the chariot, the rest stay up here and spot for us, we pick you up when we get airborn".

  86. [2014-08-20 22:06:20]<EchoesOfDeath> The flier tries to tackle her from behind. Two griffin, losing feathers and having glassy eyes flies towards her, and yet another flier comes from a different direction.
  87. [2014-08-20 22:07:18]* Star_Spotter manages to dodge the first flier that comes at her. She sighs and takes a shot at the flier that tried to tackle her, assuming the griffons were near it too
  88. [2014-08-20 22:07:46]* Star_Spotter switches to her rifle and shoots the flier that is coming at her currently, not the one that missed
  89. [2014-08-20 22:09:01]<EchoesOfDeath> The flier drops from the sky to the masses of infected under Star_Spotter
  90. [2014-08-20 22:16:05]* Backlash spreads her wings and gestures for Swift to come over to her, staring down at the path to the chariot while she waits. 'Wanna lift? I figure you'll be more effective down there than up here.'
  91. [2014-08-20 22:17:22]* Swift_Hurddle nods, "Lets ride. Anyone ells who cant fly call out if you see trouble coming for us. We will be back to pick you up in a second. We have a teacher to save!"
  92. [2014-08-20 22:18:41]* Cambiance_ twirls her machete. "What can I do? There has to be something better than just... staying up here... I want to be useful!"
  93. [2014-08-20 22:22:35]* Swift_Hurddle holds up his forhooves for Backlash to pick him up. "Cambiance we need eyes up here, more than one pair, somepony to watch us and another to watch the roof so they dont get the drop on you. Hold out for a few second and the rest of us will be back with the chariot to pick you up ok?"

  95. [2014-08-20 22:23:16]* Cambiance_ frowns. "Fine.
  96. [2014-08-20 22:23:25]* Cambiance_ calls out. "Be careful!"
  97. [2014-08-20 22:23:40]* Swift_Hurddle calls back as he decends, "You two do the same!"
  98. [2014-08-20 22:24:17]<EchoesOfDeath> "We will." Rosebee draws a pair of garden shears.
  99. [2014-08-20 22:24:41]* Backlash takes Swift_Hurddle down. 'Stay with us, we ain't quite as fast as you and it might be best to stick together.' She starts moving for the chariot and puts the knife in her mouth.
  100. [2014-08-20 22:25:34]* Swift_Hurddle nods as he readies the axe, "Together!"
  101. [2014-08-20 22:28:02]<EchoesOfDeath> The two griffin try to claw at her, but she evades them. The other flier joins a group of three and two other griffin turns towards her
  102. [2014-08-20 22:28:34]* Star_Spotter aims the shotgun at the griffons and blows them
  103. [2014-08-20 22:29:15]<EchoesOfDeath> The two griffin explode into guts and feathers.
  104. [2014-08-20 22:30:21]* Cambiance_ surveys the battlefield and roof, looking for threats and any useful (throw able) objects respectively.
  105. [2014-08-20 22:32:37]* Swift_Hurddle points out the chariot to Backlash, "there, bring us down. Raven can you see yet if its in any shape for flight?"
  106. [2014-08-20 22:33:20]<EchoesOfDeath> The large horde is still near, only a part of it having reached Star_Spotter yet. They are on block away. Cambiance_ can find pile of nailed boards that used to block the roof door
  107. [2014-08-20 22:34:54]<EchoesOfDeath> "If fate would be so kind, it seems it is." Raven says back.

  110. [2014-08-20 22:36:47]* Swift_Hurddle trots over to it as soon as his hooves are on the groud, inspecting it and seeing if anything ells is needed to get it ready. "HA! hows that for lucky? Now we just have to get it up, were going to do it, were going to do it", he glances up at the infected storming his teacher.

  116. [2014-08-20 22:41:26]* Swift_Hurddle groans as it shifts back upright, "Ok, lets get loaded up"
  117. [2014-08-20 22:43:11]* Backlash looks relieved. 'wow, you make it look easy. maybe it won't be so hard to handle...' still holding onto the knife in her mouth, she starts strapping herself into the lead position.
  118. [2014-08-20 22:43:23]<EchoesOfDeath> While more infected circle around, the two closer groups converge and dive at Star_Spotter
  119. [2014-08-20 22:47:23]* Star_Spotter grunts and dodges, moving to take a shot at the group of five, trying to at least thin them out
  120. [2014-08-20 22:48:29]<EchoesOfDeath> The two griffin and one pegasus have their faces caved inwards by buckshot and fall
  121. [2014-08-20 22:49:55]* Cambiance_ glances on anxiously.
  122. [2014-08-20 22:50:09]* Swift_Hurddle climbs into the Chariot and waves up to Cambiance, not wanting to call out and alert the nearby hord. "hows it looking guys?"
  123. [2014-08-20 22:54:56]* Backlash spreads her wings and gives Raven a tilt of the head to indicate she should help. 'We'll definitely be able to handle this thing together.'
  124. [2014-08-20 22:56:11]* EchoesOfDeath Backlash to get strapped and takes her place
