Hi Kevin,

I need to set the record straight on what you posted on Danielle Sanzone's wall.

Both reporters gave me their notice well-before the election, so their departures have absolutely nothing to do with Tuesday's results.

I knew about these weeks ago, and I can assure you, as the person who would do any hiring and/or firing, I would never fire anyone solely based on local politics. In fact, both Molly and Danielle are fantastic reporters, and as much as I am happy for them, they will be sorely missed.

In the future, it you have a question or hear a rumor about anything that's happening with The Record, I would appreciate it if you would contact me directly instead of making posts on social media. False rumors spread fast.
