Magicka MP

Hope it helps, took me a while to find it...


Step 1:
Download Skidrow's Magicka

(I made this one since i don't remember where i dld those files from :/ - scanned with kaspersky & norton just to be safe)

Step 2:
Install steam first.
make sure you logged in at least once. just to make sure it works 100% make sure then you log out. (to avoid a mistake that might happen along the rest of installing)
And once you done that Apply your Smartsteam that you downloaded into you Steam folder where you just installed it.

Step 3:
Install the game (by default> " C:/Program files(x86)/ ") Steam/Steamapps/Common/Magicka - u can install it anywhere else u want to.
Once you just installed it Patch it directly. (do not overwrite any files with a crack.)

Step 4:
Paste the NCF files (from the mu rar) into your "/Steam/Steamapps/" folder.

Step 5:
Goto your steam folder. modify the Smartsteam.ini file with notepad and @ [lobby] Add @ the bottom 42910 = 73050

Step 6:
Now once you installed steam a shortcut should be added @ desktop.
Open the Properties.
Modify the line called Target: <\Steam\Steam.exe -clientapp SmartSteam.dll -login *Account *Password <--( makesure to fill in your own Account + passowrd without the *)

Step 7:
Use either hamachi or Tunggle let your friends do the exact same steps.

Random Notes:
Press play with the download paused version on steam - wait a bit, press play - nothing will happen.
Then press play @ the actual magicka - worked for me.
May not work for some ppl, no idea why, i just know it doesn't - worked on my neighbour's PC, but not on his sister's :(

U might also change the # in steam_appid.txt in the Magicka folder to 73050 as well, shouldn't matter much, might help in some cases, who knows... Won't mess anything up if u do anyways.
