  1. Item #: SCP-xxxx
  2.
  3. Object Class: Safe
  4.
  5. Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be stored in a standard storage locker. Only authorized personnel are allowed to remove SCP-xxxx for testing.
  6.
  7. Description: SCP-xxxx is a paperback composition notebook, significantly damaged, and black in color. SCP-xxxx has the writing "Journal of Tortured Soul" on the cover, along with what seems to be the illegible name of an author. Each page of SCP-xxxx has a short paragraph written upon them, and when read aloud, each has a unique effect on the reader's sense of touch. A noticeable change in the texture of anything the reader touches will occur, always relating to the sentence that was read. Reading a new sentence will result in a completely new texture altogether. The effect on the sense of touch can be reversed only through reading the last page of SCP-xxxx, which reads "Thank you for reading my life's work. I hope it was rather interesting for you. Yours truly, B██████ R██████." Attempts to find the author of SCP-xxxx have located him at a graveyard in ██████, Ga. Dangerous aspects of SCP-xxxx include page SCP-xxxx-007, "I've felt many things throughout my life, although none more irritating than the prick of a thorn" in which the reader will experience a sharp prick upon touching an object, and often draw blood. Many pages found within SCP-xxxx are in the form of the author's diary, and when read cause no effect on the reader's sense of touch, but instead affect the dreams of the reader. When interrogated after specific pages had been read, Agent ██████ described his dreams as very dark, and appeared to take on the role of the author, unable to see and enduring intense pain. Agent ██████ often awoke with a series of burns on both arms, and multiple cases of damaged skin from what is believed to be sandpaper. Other pages have resulted in dreams of murder by hanging, and afterwards, a feeling of comfort.

  9. Information on SCP-xxxx's contents:
  10. Page SCP-xxxx-001: " There are many textures in this world, both good and bad. I've cataloged quite a few. Such as my first texture, the incredible feeling of soft silk. I find this rather enjoyable."
  11.
  12. Page SCP-xxxx-002: " Though I've covered a good texture, There are also textures I think are horrible to feel, such as sandpaper. I cringe at the very thought"
  13.
  14. Page SCP-xxxx-003: " If you've ever been to a beach, then you know how the waves feel as they crash down and sweep the sand from your feet. I myself find this pleasing. [This page of SCP-xxxx acts in a different way than the rest, as the reader is constantly feeling as if they are standing on the edge of the beach.]
  15.
  16. Page SCP-xxxx-006: " As far as physical pain goes, I find the worse pain to be that of a burn"
  17.
  18. Page SCP-xxxx-008: " As a blind man, my sense of touch is valuable to me. I embrace the feeling of the fur of any animal, particularly a cat."
  19.
  20. Page SCP-xxxx-014: "My story is an eventful one, indeed. Though I've endured a house fire, falling into a thorn bush, and having my foster parents rub me with sandpaper as punishment for things I may have done wrong, I always looked ahead. I would always reach into my pocket to feel the oh so soft lucky rabbits foot my father gave me when i was 12..."
  21.
  22. Page SCP-xxxx-017: "My foster parents have been completely heartless the past few days. I have been forced to eat nothing but scraps from their leftover dinner plates, and if I ask for anything more, they often beat me until I can not bear to take any more pain. The fire that took my parents life has left me burned and broken-spirited. I can only hope for better in the future. Although hope at this point seems more than futile.
  23.
  24. Page SCP-xxxx-019: "Today I awoke strapped to my bed, as my foster parents stood over me, rubbing me down with sandpaper as punishment for something I still haven't found out. My writing is all I have and even then, I barely have that. They tried to destroy my notebook and tossed it into the garbage. I managed to rescue it despite stumbling blindly through the unfamiliar house.
  25.
  26. Page SCP-xxxx-020: "Im going to kill them. Both of them. In the most excruciating way my broken mind can muster up. They will beg for their wretched lives and I will merely laugh at their desperate attempts at making peace with me. I will then take my own life. I can't bear the thought of finding myself in another hell similar to the one I am already cursed to live in."
  27.
  28. Page SCP-xxxx-025: "I know what I must do. They are on their way up the stairs to my room now. I can hear their demonic whispering, discussing what horrible punishment I will endure today. And how they will laugh as my blood spills from my body. This world is a horrible place and I....[Illegible].
  29.
  30. Page SCP-xxxx-048: "They are silent, finally. I am at last at peace with myself, though my body reeks of pain, blood, and my own feces. Here in Hell's hallway they hang."
  31.
  32. Many pages of SCP-xxxx were too damaged to discern the writings.
