  68. Bio: Chance is of an average build and, unlike what one would normally expect of a mage, keeps it on himself to remain physically fit and capable. He has pale skin and long blond hair braided into a intricate tail. He has no eyes, having given them up in exchange for a pair of metal runes with which to help him better sync with his Argoth.

  70. Chance Nakoris was born to a magic learned family that has held a tradition of stymieing and, where they can, hunting the Gaiakin. While Vederian in heritage and possessing relative affluence through connections, the Nakoris family has held no ties to countries or politics and their members have been known to spread and travel the world looking for leads with which to combat or research the Gaiakin. Chance is no different, but unlike most others in his family, he in particular is of a militaristic brand, having displayed considerable skill in combat and piloting. He is equal parts an enthusiastic, friendly, philosophical and competitive soul outside of combat. Inside his Argoth, however, friendliness gives way quickly to a sort of morbid efficiency.

At a young age of 16, Chance participated in and carefully observed the battle to repel it. Through Chance's recollection of the Gaiakin's appearance and abilities, his family would pull strings to have artisans build a mirror of it to his specifications. Such was the mandate from his family's tradition for all their few skilled pilots. From then on he would spend a number of years continuing on his own in efforts to keep himself sharp and defend against the Gaiakin wherever they may appear, taking mercenary jobs where necessary and finding leads where he could. All until a certain group crossed his path...
