Title: “Spike eye”

Background: Almost all of my family were in the Authority, including my father. He trained me to become a soldier, so one day I can grow up to fight for the Authority like him. I was excited that my father took me under his wing first instead of my brothers, but I was blind to see what was awaiting me.  Eventually time passed, my father and I were deployed in the very first “Crusade.”  Due to high pollution and contamination, the world’s supply of fresh water was low.  One of the Authority’s first targets, was a tribe in the freezing lands, protected by a native tribe known as Frostbite.  My dad, worrying due to known ruthlessness of the Frostbite tribe, had me start my career as a messenger.

I was put into a specific regiment named “Blood Troopers”, my job in the regiment was to scout, and send messages to the enemy. I was told to go send a message to a specific person who we were fighting against. I walked into the icy town, then tragedy struck. I could hear the gunshots being fired at me, then came the bombs. I heard people being gun downed by machine guns. Finally, the fighting stopped. My father called out my name, I stood up, and saw everything destroyed, I saw bodies being put into planes. My father yelled out to me, I ran to him, he asked if I can scout the premises to make sure there was no survivors.

I walked slowly scouting every building quietly. I was towards the end of the broken rubble, I broke down the door, and scouted the final room, I was getting ready to walk out, then I heard a baby crying. I pointed my gun up, and pointed it to the corner of the room. I saw a baby, crying helplessly not knowing what has happened to his family, and friends. I looked around to see if anyone was looking, then I picked him up and hid the cold baby in my trench coat. I didn’t care at what I did at the time. I smuggled the baby into homeland, and raised him into the Authority. The once cold baby, is now a fellow brother of the Authority, and the leader of Alpha Authority Heroes.
