PDX Meetup Concerns "Fuck You" Rebuttal

For the record, Glowing Bro Bonanza was MY idea and was initially created in honor of Lulu's birthday. He clearly said he did not want presents so that proves these events are NOT for any one person's personal gain. In fact it's more a personal loss than anything considering he'll be covering the pizza, cake and apparently shooting practice.

All meets are for everypony's benefit, so I'd say it's a perfectly good use of the site. NOT using this site to announce it would only mean many would-be attendees (and receivers of free cake and pizza would simply miss out on the opportunity.) If that is your goal then congrats because that is ALL you would achieve by disallowing meetups like this.
