  1. Michael Anissimov (MA) was formerly a prominent voice in the Transhumanism-Singularity scene.
  2.
  3. The editor of the KurzweilAI forum (Amara Angelica) sang praises for MA when I posted about MA's possible nazi-Right connections (dead link for Kurzweil forum post can be found via my G+ SU profile). I was making a point about the flawed nature of Existential Risks, the point being the real risks are the people telling us we need to fear AI, it was a point about how the ideas of Riskers are generally flawed thus I highlighted a flaw of possible Nazi or Right-wing support via Michael, which I hoped would illustrate a bigger flaw in the thinking of MA. My forum post to KurzweilAI was deemed a personal attack, ad hominem, thus deleted and I was told about how "nice" MA is.

  5. When I made that forum post, and a blog post, everyone thought I was being very unfair to Michael because at the time MA had not come out regarding NRx (Neo-Reactionary thinking). I admit the evidence at the time was not clear to unintelligent people.
  6.
  7. MA has been Medic Director of SIAI (AKA SI, Singularity Institute), which is now called MIRI (Machine Intelligence Institute).
  8.
  9. MA has also been the editor of H+ Magazine.
  10.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if MA was one of the 500 (see Vice quote below), which could seem far-fetched but considering Michael's apparent awe, praise, and fan-support regarding Varg (note Tweets below) this might be no more far-fetched than my precious early linkage of Michael Anissimov to Right ideology.

  13. Vice wrote: “Vikernes was one of around 500 people who received Breivik’s 1,500 page manifesto calling for a war against Islam in Europe, directly from the man himself not long before he killed 77 people two years ago.” - http://noisey.vice.com/en_uk/blog/role-playing-camping-trips-and-films-about-bears-inside-the-wild-world-of-varg-vikernes

  17.
  18. “Amara D. Angelica is co-founder and Editor of KurzweilAI.net and its daily Accelerating Intelligence newsletter. She was editor and researcher for two of Ray Kurzweil’s books, The Singularity Is Near and Fantastic Voyage, and was the original Academic Model/Curriculum Lead for Singularity University. ” - http://www.kurzweilai.net/amara-d-angelica (https://archive.today/RPKyY).
  19.
  20. Surely you see how it is ironic that someone supposedly against Existential Risks can be a fan on someone who is decidedly risky and unwholesome?
  21.
  22. The BBC wrote regarding the arrest of Varg in 2013:
  23.
  24. The French interior ministry said Kristian "Varg" Vikernes constituted "a potential threat to society". - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-23327165
  25.
  26. It was MA's Burzum “like” via FB that caused me to suspect, or to give some tangibility to my suspicions, the motives of Riskers or at least MA's Risker outlook.
  27.
  28. Here is a screen shot I posted to Twitter:

  31.
  32. I am beginning to see no difference between NRx and the supposedly respectable Existential Riskers are Oxford, Cambridge, and elsewhere.
  33.
  34. The Guardian wrote: “Cambridge, some time after the end of term. Demob-happy undergraduates, dressed for punting and swigging wine from the bottle, seem not so much to be enjoying themselves as determinedly following rites of passage on the way to a privileged future. I am heading towards the biggest, richest and arguably most beautiful college: Trinity. Of the 90 Nobel prizes won by members of Cambridge University in the 20th century, 32 were won by members of Trinity. Its alumni include Isaac Newton, Wittgenstein, Bertrand Russell and six prime ministers. ” - http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/aug/30/saviours-universe-four-unlikely-men-save-world
  35.
  36. The problem with NRx and Existential Riskers is traditionalism, a stuffy unwillingness to relinquish the old, outdated, yokes upon the mind, the problem is a traditional repression of intelligence via elite educational establishments or via monarchs.
  37.
  38. The problem is #Traditionalism #NRx #Idiocy #fearofintelligence #Lord #Baron (Martin Rees) #Arsitos #Aristocracy #Elitism. It's a scarcity problem where the majority of people are kept powerless to serve the few.
  39.
  40. I have no idea if MA was one of the 500, but regardless I think MA and Justine Tunney (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/08/01/occupying-the-throne-justine-tunney-neoreactionaries-and-the-new-1-percent.html and http://valleywag.gawker.com/why-does-google-employ-a-pro-slavery-lunatic-1612868507 http://www.thebaffler.com/blog/mouthbreathing-machiavellis/) are worth watching because both have had or have connections to Ray Kurzweil.
  41.
  42. At the best I think they have had, and do have, a damaging impact upon AI awareness; they are the rot of futurology (future-tech awareness); I think they hinder progress via their fears, and their desires to impose repressive NRx regimes.
