  1. [2012-12-08 03:47:16] * Comet_Blaze follows after Silky into the warehouse, frowning slightly as they arrived.
  2. [2012-12-08 03:48:34] * Silky_Shackles closes the doors behind Comet_Blaze, trotting a few steps away before sitting on the dusty floor. She wipes her forehead and moves her hooves a few times before looking back, looking weary. "So... I know this won't really go anywhere but... well..." She sighs.
  3. [2012-12-08 03:51:53] * Comet_Blaze moves up towards Silky and finds a place to sit down nearby. "Right. So? What did you want to talk about?" Watching the other mare passively. She could guess what this was about, but didn't really want to right now.
  4. [2012-12-08 03:56:41] <Silky_Shackles> "I guess it's already something you didn't shoot me, but please don't make everything harder than it is already." She looks back at her, waving a hoof, frustrated. "Well... what would you have done?"
  5. [2012-12-08 04:00:30] * Comet_Blaze frowns and shakes her head. "Giving somepony a second chance is fine." She raises a forehoof to poke Silky. "But ponies are not property or tools. They follow you because you've threatened to kill them if they don't. Not because they want to. Not because you're giving them something in return. But simply because the alternative is worse." She snorts in annoyance. "I'd rather have let
  6. [2012-12-08 04:00:31] * Comet_Blaze them go. Or killed them. Or given them the chance to stand trial for their actions." She stands and paces. "Worse, I know there's some ponies out there not principled enough to stick to those who are just criminals in their eyes. Who'll take innocent ponies who haven't done anything. You might not, but that doesn't make it a good thing."
  7. [2012-12-08 04:08:06] * Silky_Shackles blinks, shaking her head wearily. "Do you think it's that simple? That they wake up a raider and become an upstanding pony at a clap of hooves? Say I give them a second chance, and they go out to rob and murder as always, what then?!"
  8. [2012-12-08 04:11:13] * Comet_Blaze frowns, shaking her head. "Then you take responsibility and kill them if it comes to that." She snorts again, not looking terribly happy. "I understand why you're doing it. Prisons exist for a reason. Exile exists for a reason," her voice drops lower and quieter, "even if it isn't deserved." Raising her voice again to continue on. "But what you're doing? Forcing ponies into your
  9. [2012-12-08 04:11:14] * Comet_Blaze service? You're stripping them of the basic things which make ponies different than the monsters in the wasteland. These two you might be justified doing it with. They committed crimes. But that doesn't change the principle. Slavery isn't right."
  10. [2012-12-08 04:23:24] <Silky_Shackles> ACTION stares into her eyes, speaking in serious determination. "I am taking responsability! I am making sure these ponies won't be able to hurt anypony. That they will do good, whether they want it or not. " She points at the door. "These 'lovely' ponies, they made themselves into monsters already. They had the chance to choose, and they decided for it." She snorts. "Do you think locking them into a cage will solve anything? Or exile? Tha
  11. [2012-12-08 04:28:37] <Silky_Shackles> "That is just making them into somepony else's problem." She looks at her derisively. "But it's easier just killing them, isn't it? A pull of the trigger and the problem is solved"
  12. [2012-12-08 04:35:37] * Comet_Blaze shook her head. "You said it yourself. They made their choice and they chose to be enemies of all pony kind." She paces in annoyance. "More so, if the only reason they're acting this way is because of your threats then they haven't changed at all. What reason do they have to keep it on once they're free? Or do you plan to just force them to be your servants for the rest of their life?
  13. [2012-12-08 04:35:37] * Comet_Blaze Is that really any better than just shooting them?" Her voice stayed relatively level despite her obvious growing irritation as she stomped a forehoof. "But even if I accept your reasons for doing it, I can't accept the idea of it. Ponies aren't property. They shouldn't be bought, sold or traded. Certainly not those who haven't done anything to deserve it."
