3. Gotcha: Flank Preview Evolved: Updates the line of sight indicator to show if moving to a position will get you a flanking shot or squadsight on an enemy. Highly recommended.

5. Perfect Information: Expands the information available to you on the battlescape, seeing what percentage that fucking Viper had to fucking tongue grab you from across the fucking map.
6.
7. Numeric Health Display: Replaces the teeny tiny pellet-based health display in the base game with a nice simple numeric display. Better for seeing if you can actually kill a Sectopod this turn or not.
8.
9. Lifetime Stats: Adds a stat-tracking system that tracks how many shots a soldier has hit, how many crits he's gotten and generally how lucky they are.
10.
11. Stop Wasting My Time: Helps speed up the flow of the game by removing many minor pauses after actions, both in the field and on the Geoscape. Also tells Bradford to shut up.
12.
13. Strip Primary Weapons: Wounded soldier has the heavily modded sniper rifle with three free reloads and an advanced scope? Don't want to click out of the deployment screen, go to the armory, find the wounded soldier, unequip the weapon and return to the deployment screen just to put it on another Sharpshooter? This is for you.
14.
15. Full Character Customization From Start: Instead of having customization options locked behind how highly ranked your soldiers are, they're all unlocked from the start!
16.
17. Free Reload: Allows you to see how many free reloads your soldier has left.
18.
19. Evac All: Adds an easy button to evacuate all soldiers standing in the extraction zone, instead of having to click through all of them one by one. Highly recommended.
20.
21. Overwatch All/Others: Adds more easy buttons to either overwatch all soldiers with action points remaining, or all other soldiers except the currently selected one. Highly recommended.
22.
23. Mission Time Remaining: Tells you how long you have left before a scan site disappears on the Geoscape.
24. ShowMeTheSkills: Adds a bit of UI to the squad deployment screen to see the skills on your active soldiers. WARNING: With the most recent patch, they added a health bar to the deployment screen that directly overlaps with this mod. Use this mod to disable it.

26. Long War Studios
27. Officially-sanctioned mods by the creators of the Long War overhaul for XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within. The first three mods were all available at launch, Firaxis having given LWS access to the mod tools before anyone else.
28.
29. Long War SMG Pack: Adds three SMG weapons to the game, granting extra mobility while sacrificing damage.
30.
31. Long War Leader Pack: Adds an upgrade to the Guerilla Training School, allowing you to train a veteran soldier to become a squad leader as well as staying their original class.
32.
33. Muton Centurion Alien Pack: Adds a stronger Muton to the game, with a War Cry ability. Largely pointless, as it doesn't really add much.
34.
35. Long War Toolbox: Adds a "toolbox" option menu to the game, allowing you to activate reimplemented Second Wave options such as Not Created Equally and Hidden Potential, while also letting you boost the squadsize up to 12 soldiers. Also has support for mods to add their own custom menus to the toolbox. A must have, in my opinion.
36.
37. Long War Laser Pack: Adds a fourth tier of weapons to bridge the gap between Mag and Plasma. Cheaper to upgrade to than plasma, but is only a marginal increase of damage. Has only recently come out, so not sure on how it affects the game in practice.
38.
39. Long War Perk Pack: The biggest LWS mod yet, both splitting three classes into six (while keeping Specialist the same) and adds a third column of perks to select for every class. Has only recently come out, so not sure how it affects the game in practice.
40.
41. There are two other mods they have announced they're working on, an "Alien Pack" which will add ten new alien enemies/reskins, while the second remains a ~~secret~~
42.
43.
44. Gameplay Altering
45. These mods all change some form of the overall balance of the game.
46.
47. True Concealment: Changes the mission timer to not start ticking down until your squad is revealed. Personally torn on this mod, as I feel this, without any additional changes to make the game harder, may make the game a little bit too easy.
48.
49. Soldier Fatigue: Adds a Long War-esque fatigue system to XCOM2. By default, the mod is balanced around Legendary-length campaigns, so in Commander and below the fatigue times might be a bit extreme. Good way to ensure you don't just rely on your A-team all the time after a certain point.
50.
51. Grimy's Loot Mod: Adds Diablo-style loot to the game. What this means in practice is that enemies will start dropping lootboxes which, after a day's research, will drop a randomly generated weapon or armor with unique mods. Big fan of this mod, personally. Mid-late game you end up not caring about more weapon mods, while this basically gives you a reason to try and get the dropped item before it expires.
52.
53. A Better Advent: One of the largest enemy and AI overhauls currently available. Greatly expands the variety of ADVENT troops and aliens. Personally a big fan of this, but it’s not for everyone.
54.
55.
56. Squad Cohesion: Adds Fire Emblem-style relationships to the game. No, not that type of relationship. If you send a certain squad out all the time, they'll slowly work better as a group, earning general bonuses. The later bonuses are a little too strong, in my opinion, but it does add a nice incentive to not just having a hodgepodge of who's available every single time.
57.
58. Bonding and Time Travelers: From the same author as Squad Cohesion, this adds Fire Emblem-style relationships to the game. Yes, that type of relationship. Hook two soldiers up after they've been buddies for a while, and their child will come back from the future to help defeat ADVENT. I don't even know why I'm putting this in the list except for completion's sake.
