  1. Location: Above the Seven Stones Plateau, west of the town's borders
  2. Participants: Golden Touch [leader], Phoenix Down, Chinook, Weathervane
  3. Objective: To determine the true cause of the large system of storm clouds appearing nearby, and attempt to find a means of clearing it away (or lessening its effects) before it touches down in Four Cannon
  4. Discoveries: After finding rainbow cascades streaming from the clouds, the team was blown off its course and thrown further into it by a strong vortex. Within the dark, dense walls of the cloud system was an abandoned pegasus city, roughly the size and architecture of a suburban settlement.
  5. Production of storms traced to a cloud factory that had lost control an emitted a high quantity of black clouds. Upon entry, it became known that serpentine cloud monsters which came out of the machine's output vats had infested the factory. Other oddities include a purple liquid inside of the machine's tubes, as well as a power source which glowed the same color.
  6. Encounters: Cloud snakes. Though easy to dispose of, the vats continuously produced more, adding to their nuisance. Became easier to manage once Phoenix stopped up the vats.
  7. Brief encounter with a pair of rainbow-colored manta-like creatures, apparently mother and child. Though territorial and protective, the mother only made warning swipes at the party and permitted the team a safe escape.
  8. Results: Released cloud serpents defeated; machine outputs blocked long enough to allow the party's escape. Entrances to the generator room and factory also blockaded by cloud walls.
  9. Battery for the generator found within a glass pane. Broken into and disposed of by Chinook.
  10. Successfully halted factory's cloud production, allowing the party enough of a clearing inside the dense cloud wall to exit the city. However, a majority of the storm clouds still remain. Other factories in the town are presumably still active; most likely will require further ventures before the threat is fully abated.
