  1. >Once upon a time there was a brick
  2. >That brick was named Brick
  3. >She was the prettiest brick in all the pile
  4. >One day she was sent to live in a prison for being a sentient brick
  5. >Upon arriving, the prisoners shuddered and cried
  6. >"HOW COULD YOU!"
  7. >"YOU SICK BASTARD!"
  8. >Brick was not ashamed of her crime of being a brick though, as Brick was a brick
  9. >As the warden of the prison threw her in her cell, she exclaimed as loudly as she could
  10. "..."
  11. >The warden gasped in horror and threw a brick at Brick for such vulgar and disgusting comments about her mother
  12. >...
  13. >Time passed quickly, day by day, month by month, Brick sat in her cell with her only company being the food shoved under her door
  14. >Brick was never lonely, though, as bricks don't have emotions
  15. >---
  16. >Eventually, after seemingly forever, the narrator of this story died of boredom
  17. >This caused the new narrator to take this story into a new path of happy fun time
  18. >Instead of being in Prison, Brick was now in Candyland
  19. >The warden was now a giant sprinkled solid chocolate pony and the prisoners were happy little gumdrop ponies
  20. >Brick was finally free to go where she pleased
  21. >So brick, where do you want to go?
  22. "..."
  23. >R-Really? Why would you want to go there?
  24. "..."
  25. >But that place is dangerous! Look at all of this lovely candy scenery you could explore
  26. >This entire place is LITERALLY the happiest place in the universe
  27. "...!"
  28. >Fine! If you really want to go there, then you have fun
  29. >I hope you get turned into a road, ya piece of brick
  30. "..."
  31. >So off Brick went, out of the lovely Candyland CREATED JUST FOR HER, and back into a prison
  32. >This prison held an inmate named "Anonymous"... fucking original, nowamirite?
  33. >This Anonymous was a handsome human male with the sexiest of love handles, the classiest of fedoras, and the most exotic beard growing from his neck
  34. >Brick loved Anonymous for these features
  35. >Except she didn't, because bricks don't have feelings
  36. >This "Anonymous" was yelling at a yellow pony and a white pony inside of the jail cell
  37. >"BANZAI BLAST!"
  38. >Apparently that was his catchphrase
  39. >How annoying, right?
  40. "!!!"
  41. >Oh shut up, you have shit tastes
  42. >Well, if you could taste
  43. >But nonetheless, this Anonymous was extremely socially inept
  44. >This did not keep him from getting the ladies, though
  45. >All of the girls, excluding the crying Fluttershy, loved him
  46. >This was due to him having a very rare and sought after disease called "Mary-Sue Syndrome"
  47. >He seemed to have caught it from every other Anon in Equestria story that had ever been made
  48. >But Brick did not.. love?.. him for his Mary-Sue Syndrome
  49. >She instead found him to be the most attractive neckbeard she had ever not seen
  50. >Anonymous starts wheeling away on a clothes cart down the prison's hallway
  51. >Meanwhile, the yellow pony was, for some unknown reason, bleeding from her head, while the white pony was hugging her and letting the yellow one lean onto her
  52. >"Come Fluttershy, wouldn't want that brutish Rainbow Dash to win YOUR prize."
  53. >Both the yellow pony and the white pony walk away from brick, following Anonymous down the hall
  54. >"I think my head is bleeding."
  55. >The yellow one says as she clutches her head
  56. >Brick is watching this all unfold with her non-existent eyes
  57. >As Brick attempts to follow them down the hall, she realizes that she can not move at all
  58. >Bricks do not have any sort of mobility after all
  59. >It seems that Brick will never be able to follow her one true love, she is doomed to stay in place for all of eternity
  60. >Oh now if you only listened to me, Brick, you may have had a happy life in Candyland
  61. >But noooooooo, you had to go back to the gloomy prison
  62. >Serves you right! Ahahahahaha! Ahahaha--
  63. >"..."
  64. >W-What?
  65. >There is a bloody brick on the ground, speaking the ancient words of the brick to Brick
  66. >"..."
  67. >You would do that for Brick? B-But why?
  68. >"..."
  69. >The bloody brick remains motionless and silent
  70. >"..."
  71. >I-I see
  72. >I have been such a fool
  73. >It was wrong of me to get in the way of your not truly love, but kinda like love, except you can't feel, Brick
  74. >I must correct this wrong at once
  75. >The narrator then uses his power of reality bending to give Brick the power to move
  76. >There we go, now you can hop around
  77. >Go after him, you valiant little Brick! He is waiting!
  78. "...!"
  79. >And off she goes, rolling from flat side to flat side across the floor towards her destination
  80. >Her destination OF DESTINY
  81. >...
  82. >After a long journey of untold pseudo-rolling, Brick finally reaches the room Anonymous and the two ponies had gone into
  83. >As she approaches the room, several loud "KYAAAH~"s come from inside
  84. >Brick immediately "rolls" inside the shower room to witness a bunch of stallions covering their private parts
  85. >Inside is Anonymous inside of his clothes cart, the two mares from earlier now wearing fake mustaches, a flying blue mare also wearing a fake mustache, and two stupid looking stallions keeping the yellow one from running away, one holding a plunger up to her butt
  86. >What the hell did we just walk into, Brick?
  87. "...?"
  88. >I dunno, that is why I was asking you
  89. "..."
  90. >Meh, I guess it could be, though the chances are pretty slim
  91. >As Brick and the ever so handsome narrator are having an intellectual conversation, a purple alicorn comes trotting into the room
  92. >"STOOOOOOOOP!!!"
  93. >The purple alicorn screams at the top of her lungs
  94. >"WHAT IN CELESTIA'S NAME ARE YOU DOING TO MY FRIENDS?!"
  95. >After few seconds, one of the stupid male stallions starts to explain himself
  96. >Brick does not care about this drama, though, so she just tries to get to Anonymous as fast as possible
  97. >She rolls up towards the basket and attempts to climb up it
  98. >But sadly, the narrator only gave her the ability to move, not to climb
  99. >While the narrator could fix this for her, his Pathfinder DMing forbids him from doing so
  100. >So, Brick, looks like you have to roll your climb skill
  101. >Brick neither has hands nor a d20, so she cannot roll her climb skill
  102. "..."
  103. >I can't give you a free ride up there, I am sorry Brick
  104. >We all have principles, this is just one of mine
  105. "...!"
  106. >Okay okay, fine! I will roll a d20 for you, happy?
  107. "..."
  108. >The narrator rolls a d20 for Brick to see what her climb skill would be
  109. >1
  110. >Critical Fail
  111. >I am so sorry Brick..
  112. >Brick rolls into the clothes cart with a great speed and bounces off of it, flying backwords into the plunger that the stupid stallion was holding, forcing it to go up into the yellow mare's butt
  113. >Oops..
  114. >Without any of the other ponies noticing, one of the two males run off in fear of the repercussions of shoving the plunger up one of the purple alicorn's friend's butt
  115. >Meanwhile the other one, who was holding the plunger, asks a question in ignorant bliss of what was going to be coming up next
  116. >"So do we get our gum now?"
  117. >Brick begins rolling her way back towards the cart, to see Anonymous, until she sees him pop up out of the cart, running towards her
  118. >Brick rolls ecstatically towards him, to try and climb her way up to be by his side, the place where she belongs
  119. >That is, until she notices there is already another brick in his hand
  120. >A-Another brick?!
  121. >That means... he is already taken by another brick
  122. >Anon rushes past the rolling Brick and runs up to the stallion holding the plunger
  123. >"CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE WON!""
  124. >Brick slowly decelerates her rolling speed, coming to a halt after a few more lopsided rolls
  125. >It is over.. I am so sorry Brick
  126. ".."
  127. >Please don't be silent, I know you are sad, but this isn't the end for your love
  128. >There are other fish in the sea, I am sure of it
  129. >Brick is not moving or speaking, she is extremely depressed, or so you would think she would be if she had emotions
  130. >After all, the truth of the situation just hit Brick like a ton of bricks
  131. >"OH MY CELESTIA!"
  132. "..."
  133. >Please cheer up, Brick
  134. >When you are sad, it makes me sad
  135. "..."
  136. >No, I do care about you
  137. >I am sorry I said all of those mean things earlier
  138. >The truth is, I love being the narrator for your story
  139. >Sure there are other stories I could be narrating, like ones that include a main character that isn't an inanimate object, but none of that matters to me anymore
  140. >You have taught me that there is more to being a narrator than just speaking about a story, you have taught me that being a narrator is loving the characters you speak about enough to be able to convey exactly who they are and why the reader should love or hate them
  141. >Without you, I would probably never have learned such a crucial lesson
  142. >So please, don't ever feel like you are unwanted, because I want you
  143. "..."
  144. >Yeah, I am telling the truth
  145. ".."
  146. >"BANZAI BLAST!"
  147. >Now let's go, Brick
  148. >There are infinite other universes you can go to with infinite other adventures waiting for you, and I will be with you every step of the way
  149. "..."
  150. >Another universe with Anonymous? I can do that
  151. >It just so happens we are right next door to a story about an Anon in a prison who could really use some support in his increasingly difficult situation
  152. >So how about it, wanna go there together, partner?
  153. "... :) ..."
  154. >Brick's newfound optimism rubs off on the narrator
  155. >The scene fades out from being all of the ponies in the room laughing, except for a sobbing yellow pony, as the stupid stallion runs around, desperately rubbing his face on anything and everything, trying to get a smelly picture off of his face
  156. >And BANG BOOM BAM!
  157. >Brick is now in a completely different world, though the scenery is similar to the last
  158. >The biggest difference is that now Brick is inside of a monster filled cafeteria, instead of a room filled with naked stallions
  159. >Off in the distance is this dimension's Anonymous
  160. >See, he is here too
  161. "... :D ..."
  162. >That's it slugger, go get him!
  163. >Brick quickly rolls off of the table and onto the floor towards Anonymous
  164. >This is so precious, she finally has her own special Anonymous
  165. >*sob*
  166. >It's so beautiful..
  167. >The narrator is not crying.. shut up!
  168. >*sniffle*
  169. >Closer and closer, Brick approaches Anonymous
  170. >With each roll, she picks up speed, likely in anticipation to finally get her own special Anonymous
  171. >Almost there..
  172. >Almost there!
  173. >ALMOST THERE!!
  174. >Brick is almost at Anonymous's heels, rolling so blissfully and preparing to--
  175. >"Hey Anon! Check this out!"
  176. >A massive black dragon picks up Brick before she can reach her destination and smashes her against its head
  177. >In an instant, Brick is crushed against the dragon's forehead into a fine powder, scattering across the floor
  178. >"So, impressed enough to be my mate now?"
  179. >..
  180. >B-Brick?
  181. >Brick?!
  182. >BRICK!!!

  185. - THE END? -
  186.
  187.
  188. ---
  189.
  190.
  191. EPILOGUE:
  192.
  193. >NO!
  194. >HANG IN THERE BRICK!
  195. >The time is running out for Brick
  196. >Curse my weakness as narrator, why can't I do more?!
  197. >The dust begins to scatter across the floor as the wind pushes it around
  198. >OH NO YOU DON'T
  199. >Instead of scattering, the dust all compiles back together into a non-windy corner of the room
  200. >Please don't go, Brick
  201. >I-I need you
  202. >Isn't there anything I can do for you?!
  203. >Brick heals back fully!
  204. >..
  205. >BRICK HEALS BACK FULLY!
  206. >..
  207. >Why isn't this working?!
  208. >Something, there HAS to be something
  209. >..
  210. >From up above, the rules of literature speak to the narrator
  211. >Yes? What is it? What can I do to save Brick?!
  212. ==Sacrifice==
  213. >Sacrifice?
  214. ==Equivalent Exchange==
  215. >E-Equivalent Exchange? What do you mean by that?
  216. ==Last Hope==
  217. ==Only Way==
  218. >I don't understand, please explain!
  219. ==Peace Nigga==
  220. >No! Don't go!
  221. >The pile of Brick's dust won't last much longer, soon enough her series will be cancelled forever
  222. >You can't let that happen
  223. >..
  224. >Wait, maybe the rules of literature meant..
  225. >But you can't do that, if you did then you would have no future
  226. >A narrator who can no longer narrate for anyone other than a single person is pretty much condemning themselves to death once that person's series is over
  227. >Once again, the pile of dust, formerly known as Brick, begins to scatter
  228. >No it doesn't! It is back together
  229. >It is back together again, but it won't stay for long
  230. >Shit shit shit
  231. >"... :D ..."
  232. >Her last words still resonate in my memory
  233. >I can't do it!
  234. >I can't let such an innocent creature die such a tragic and meaningless death
  235. >The pile of dust begins to scatter once again
  236. >Fuck it! Now or never!
  237. >This story continues, because I agree to narrate it further
  238. >No other narration is for me, Brick's story will go on
  239. >Brick's story does not end here, but instead is merely beginning!
  240. ==The Narrator For This Story Is Forever Set==
  241. ==To Return A Finished Story To Continuation Another Sacrifice Will Be Made==
  242. >/Ah fuck! My eye!/
  243. "... ... ...?"
  244. >/The pile of dust is given life once again, but no longer holds the previous shape it once had/
  245. >/Brick? Brick?!/
  246. "..."
  247. >/R-Really? Even after what has been done to you?/
  248. "..."
  249. >/I understand/
  250. >/I will support you until the end/
  251.
