Story for Zurkai

"What's going on? Why are so many Kin screaming?"
"Run with the cowards, of fight like the man I raised you to be."
"What's happening? Why do I have to fight?"
"The Floren. They're attacking."
"Why now?"
"I don't know, but we must stop them."
"Aatrox, why do you choose to fight everything?"
"Because glory is only found in battle."
"Why do you care so much about glory?"
"Why are you still asking questions? If you wait any longer, you'll be slain."
"Then let's go. Let's fight, if that's what you want."

The sky is dark, and the air smells of burning buildings and hatred. The Darkin and Floren meet for a final battle. Zurkai is a lost son of one of the more ancient species of the Darkin, the stealty assassin types. He never knew his own parents, and a family of the ancient clan in the Darkin, The Order of Glory, took him in, and placed him under the care of the Drakixes, one of the older families in the clan, and they grew him as one his own. The only son of the Drakixes, Aatrox, is one of the strongest fighters in the history of the Darkin, holding the greatest prowess in battle ever seen by the Darkin. Aatrox treated the bastard child Zurkai as if he was the brother that Aatrox never had. Together, Aatrox and Zurkai led the Darkin to many great victories.

However, on this day, the Floren, the ancient enemy of the Darkin, attacked without any warning, catching the Darkin off guard. Many fell instantly in the shock and awe. Aatrox rose immediately to war, and started slaying the Floren relentlessly. He found Zurkai, and asked for his help in this battle. Zurkai agreed, and the two fought as one unit, a unit of pure destruction and chaos. In the smoke of war, the two were separated, and did not see each other until the end of the fight, as the final 5 Darkin were retreating for the war. The final 5 were separated, never to see each other again.

Aatrox stayed hidden from the world for over 200 years, randomly appearing as a "God of War" in the mist of war, turning the tides of the most well-known and important battles in the history of Runeterra. His rage and fury in battle turned men into bloodthirsty demons or war. He turned the king of the Freiljord, Tryndamere, into the rage filled beast he is today.

Zurkai had a different story. He didn't stay hidden.

"Do you have it?"
"I do."
"Give it."


"Good. You payed, so I'll do your work."


"Even Evelynn can't compare to me."


"So, Kha'Zix and Rengar think that their the greatest hunters in the world? That's funny."


"I had a brother once, I think he's dead."


"What do you mean the League? I would I do that?"
"It will give you a chance to meet new people, and show your true capabilities in battle. It's not that bad."
"So? Why do I care about showing my prowess in battle?"
"You're a warrior, not an assassin. You aren't built for this. You're kind was built for prowess in battle."
"I don't think the League is where I belong."
"I think it is."
"I had a brother. We got separated in the last battle of the Darkin and Floren. To my knowledge, I'm the only Darkin left. Aatrox was a good man. He didn't deserve to die. I know he escaped the battle as well, but I've never heard nor seen him since then. It's been over 200 years since I've last seen him."
"What did you say his name was?"
"Aatrox."
"Do you remember what he looked like?"
"Similar to be, but much taller. He had theses strange horns, they grew out the side of his head, and went up to cover the top of his head, but also went off to the side a bit, to cover the side of his face. His blood shined threw his body. He had a blade that drank the blood of his foes, or used any blood he stored to create even bigger tears in his enemies. He had wings that were almost shaped like banners, and he would stand in the front of battle, acting as our bannerguard. He had the strange ability to fire the power of his blade across the ground in two lines that converged on one location. Anyone hit would have their ankles cut, and they couldn't get away from him. His abilities were so strong in battle, that they hurt him to use them, same as me. He could store the blood of his foes, or even his own, in a well, and if he fell in battle, he would use the blood with his last breath to revive himself."
"Hold on a minute, I have an artifact that depicts a beast that is similar to who you just described...
...Here, is that him?"
"..."
"Well, is it?"
"Where did you find this?"
"In the ancient ruins of Shurima."
"Does this have any significance?"
"Yes, it shows their ancient God of War."
"Sounds like him... Do you know what happened to this god?"
"No idea, but he has been known to show up in great battles."
"... That's him."
"Are you going to find him?"
"I am. If he lived to see the downfall of Shurima, he'll survive anything."


Zurkai opens the door to the league, and sees all of the champions.
"Let's all welcome our noobie here in the League, Zurkai!"
"ZURKAI ZURKAI ZURKAI ZURKAI!" The crowd chanted.
"I'm Draven, welcome to the League of Draven!"
"He's my brother, he's always like that. Granted, we are pretty awesome."
"Come here, or I'll punch you. Trust me, it's not fun."
"Don't worry about fat hands over there, she can't even catch me!"
"This ones a criminal named Jinx. Don't listen to her. She caused the destruction of my city of Piltover."
"You look like you need a little help dying. I can help you with that."
"He's just mad because I stole his girl *Jiggles lantern*"
"Where's Aatrox? He should be out here to greet the newcomer, especially considering that Zurkai is one of his kind."
"AATROX? He's here?"
"Yes, why? Do you know the anti-social bastard?"
Aatrox walks through the door, and stops dead in his tracks when he sees Zurkai.
"Brother, you found me."
"It's been so long. I've grown more than you can imagine. No one can best me battle."
"We'll see about that."
