Not much actually happens. The cocky tengus are all like "hmph" when the competition begins, but before long they're all pale in fear. Oh, and the tengu chick, Momiji or Kaede or whatever falls for Benimaru's gallant form, and one of the side-plots is just the tengu pushing for a marriage.

In the end Benimaru accepts and has a kid with her.
