sure I'm using 10.11 gm right now.. i think u have a bad usb-installer and config file setting thats why its kp...

what i did was the following

when that is done mount the usb and then mount the EFI partition with ( http://mackie100projects.altervista.org) that is hidden in the usb and change the config file that criss added as standard to the the config in the folder below i thin that fits x79 best and add the kext etc and maybe my dsdt and ssdt then test to boot the installer again...
