The Alpha Beast (Small spell check)

The large man was running through the forest, the pain from the moon-silver arrow burning in his shoulder.
As the pain spreads throughout his body, it suddenly stops before it reaches his heart.
The pain begins to numb away, as a certain calm begins to spread in his body.
Then he realizes what is about to happen, as the numbness turns into a pain worse than the first.
He begins to rapidly grow, his teeth and nails growing into claws and fangs.
His body hair begins to rapidly grow, and fur begins to rapidly grow from his skin.
His bone structure changes, so does his mind.
Minutes, hours, days, it doesn't know for how long it had been on the ground.
The large Alpha Beast stands, sniffing in the air.
As its pursuers closes in, it turns around, and roars.
