  1. FAQs:
  2. >What is rerolling?
  3. After starting a new save and completing the tutorials you will be given a free booster pack that may contain a random figure. If you get a shitty pull you can delete your save and try again.
  4.
  5. >Will rerolling guarantee me an EX figure?
  6. No, every booster pack has a completely random figure that might better or worse than your last pull.
  7.
  8. >How can I reroll without re-installing the whole app and downloading all of the assets again?
  9. Option 1. You will need a second device (or emulator) to transfer the old file to. After transferring the file from your main device you will be prompted to start again.
  10. Option 2. If you have root access to your files you can navigate to '/data/data/jp.pokemon.pokemoncomaster/shared_prefs/jp.pokemon.pokemoncomaster.v2.playerprefs.xml' and delete that file which contains the player's auth code. Doing so will stop your install from being associated with any account and allow you to start a new account again.
  11.
  12. >What are these gold/blue/green cubes?
  13. Gold cubes can be sold for coins (store -> exchange coins). Blue can be fused for big chunks of experience. Green can be fused for CLv upgrades. Green has to be used with the respective rarity (i.e. a common figure can only fuse with common green cubes)
  14.
  15. >What is CLv?
  16. CLv stands for Chain level. It can go up to level 10, and each level allows to you increase an attacks damage by 1 point. The requirements for each level vary depending on the rarity of the figure (30,9,3,1 for C, UC, R, EX respectively). You can get a point towards a chain level by either fusing with a green cube of the same rarity as the figure, or by fusing with other figures of the same species (I.e. fuse a mewtwo with mewtwo). Note that fusing Pikachu R with Pikachu UC does not count, they must be the same version.
  17.
  18. >What should I fuse?
  19. Things viable to fuse are other figures, blue cubes and green cubes. The benefit for fusing the same figure as opposed to another is the CLv point, the experience and cost remains the same. If it's a figure you plan to use, fuse it with the same figure. Otherwise just use it as xp fodder for other figures.
  20.
  21. >I don't find any player online, what's wrong with the game?
  22. Occasionally server/connection issues cause a hang searching for the game. Either it's down for everyone or you might need to cancel and search again.
  23.
  24. >How do I evolve X?
  25. If you have the figurine, you can use the mon as is. If you want to actually evolve it you need to set the evolution line in your deck (edit figures, click blue dots), and it will need to win fights in each game to evolve (getting a knock out or displacing the enemy counts as a win here). This results in a stronger pokemon than using the evo outright (+10 damage on its white and gold attacks, +1 ★ for purple attacks per evolution). Note that the evolution only lasts for the match.
  26.
  27. >How do I craft a specific figure?
  28. Shop -> Material Exchange. Materials are gained when you open boosters purchased from the shop (50 mats per booster).
  29.
  30. >Can you time the spins to get the move you want?
  31. No, the outcomes are predetermined server side before you even touch the spinner.
  32.
  33. >6-packs arent in the store now, what should I buy?
  34. If there are no sales or specials going on, 4-packs are the best value for money (The contents are the same but 4-packs guarantee a R or EX). If you're in no rush to get anything, it's best to hold onto your gems in case of a special (such as the 6-packs with a guaranteed EX), and if nothing happens before the scheduled time for figures to rotate out you can spend it on 4-packs if you're after specific figures that will no longer be in the loot table. As always it is up to the individual on whether they want to get a reward now, or wait and hope for better value later.
  35.
  36. >6-packs are in the store now! What should I buy?
  37. Read this document for a discussion on the validity of buying 6-packs. It was written in regards to a specific time period and figures, but the core concept remains the same. Always check the available contents of boosters before deciding which to buy.

  39.
  40. >Does the AI cheat/are rolls rigged?
  41. No, any such occurrences can be attributed to negative confirmation bias, variance and a tight tin foil hat.
  42.
  43. >How do I get the newly released figures?
  44. The game seems to follow a system where new releases are more likely to appear in packs compared to other figures of the same rarity so your best bet is to open packs right after something is freshly released. This far from guarantees that you will get the figure you are after though.
  45. Note that this is not confirmed, but anecdotally appears to be the case.
  46.
  47. >Help! My game won't respond!
  48. Ocassionally the game will hang on the main screen. The figure will spin, but buttons will be greyed out. Restarting the phone usually fixes this, otherwise waiting for up to an hour will have it fix itself. Do NOT uninstall the app or you will lose your progress. It is recommended to screenshot your code on the loading screen and potentially set up a transfer code to write down but not use in case you need to use it in the future.
  49.
  50. >How do I (other basic thing)?
  51. Check the help menu in game, it contains a lot of detailed information on how the game works.
