- >"Hey, watch out man. You've got the whole hallway!"
- "Wha? Oh. OH. Heh, sorry about that.."
- >You are Anon
- >Currently a senior in Canterlot High
- >Despite your clumsiness, and general aversion to most social engagements, you'd somehow made it through the past few years of school with a decent record
- >Until recently
- >Raging she-demon
- >Students with pony ears and tails
- >Zombified students
- >Twice
- >You couldn't explain it, but something about this school was just...different
- >You quickly shake yourself out of your daze and continue your way down the hall, the student you bumped into doing the same
- >You continued to think about your history with this place
- >You'd lived in town most your whole life, knew most of the people, but didn't talk too much
- >You had a few pals, but preferred to not have too many close contacts
- >Made things a lot less complicated drama-wise
- >After stepping in the door to your next class, which was math, the sight of something, rather, someone, pulled you from your thought
- >It was her
- >There she sat
- >Second row, third seat from the left
- >Sunset Shimmer
- >Yes, the girl who had turned the whole school into mindless drones, and nearly brought about massive scale chaos only several months ago
- >Most students avoided her, those who didn't, only taunted and teased her about what had happened on the night of the Fall Formal
- >Aside from a few friends you see her with often, you were the only person who didn't seem to hate or fear her
- >You took your seat in the class, one row back and one seat right from hers
- >Ignoring the teacher's usual lecture about tardiness, you took a few moments to examine the strange girl
- >She was donning her usual attire, a pair of large boots, a skirt, and her signature studded black leather jacket
- >She was rather cute, with her dazzling teal, almost green eyes, and her long hair, her long hair, which you swore she dyed intentionally to resemble bacon
- >"Anon! Are you listening?"
- "Yes ma'am!"
- >You snapped back to attention as the teacher called your name, having finished with her blabbing
- >Your gaze wandered back to the girl, curious of whether or not she noticed the teacher fussing at you
- >Several other students around, including Sunset, had indeed noticed, and were giving you that "busted" sort of look
- >You felt your cheeks warm with blush as you realized that most of them had probably noticed what had you so distracted
- >Watching Sunset was something you did often
- >Scarcely enough to not seem like a stalker, but often enough that it was sort of obvious
- >You just couldn't help it
- >The girl ass fascinating to you
- >You sighed softly, before picking up your pen and begging to jot down whatever the teacher had written on the board, figuring you'd need it later, when you actually cared to do your schoolwork
- >Now, however, you found yourself once again lost in your own dreamlike thought, most of which, of course, revolved around Sunset
- >Class ended after what seemed like weeks
- >Onto the next one!
- >You grabbed your notepad and pen, making sure to put some distance between yourself and Sunset on your way out the door
- >Didn't want to get too close after that embarrassing moment in there
- >You went back to your locker to pull out a history book, which was the next class you had to endure
- >Sadly, this one didn't have the girl of your obsession to help distract you from the boring teachings
- >As you stepped out doors of the school and stood on the steps, the chilly breeze that hit helped remind you that you were in fact, not dreaming
- >You slung your backpack full of notes over your right shoulder before you hopped on your bike and began peddling away down the street toward's Joe's
- >Along the way, you couldn't help but wonder if this was some sort of prank
- >One Sunset and the others thought up after they caught you staring
- "She wouldn't do that, would she..?"
- >Ever since the she-demon fiasco, Sunset seemed like she had made a change for the better
- >You couldn't recall ever seeing her bully or bad mouth anyone after that
- >Only one way to find out
- >You continued peddling
- >After arriving at Joe's and tying your bike to the streetlamp outside, you walked in and chose your usual booth seat next to the window
- >No Sunset in sight
- "Probably just late.."
- >Despite telling yourself that, bad thoughts continued to race though your head
- >These thoughts were suddenly dispelled the the sound of a cheerful voice
- >"Hi Anon!"
- >Sunset cheerfully exclaimed, tossing her backpack onto the booth before sliding over and taking a seat next to it
- >You smiled and looked over to her, reaching for you open backpack before pulling out the notepad you used for Math
- >"Hey there, Sunset. Can I get you anything?"
- >You nodded towards the menu of burgers as you asked her the question
- >"Nah, I'm okay. Thank you for offering, though!"
- >You flipped the notepad open to the pages you'd used earlier that day
- >Sunset seemed very polite, for someone who most people made out to be the scum of the school
- >You exchanged the usual chit chat about school while you allowed her to take notes from your work
- >She explained how she was late due to her friend, AppleJack, talking to her and her friends about the new machine they'd purchased that was supposed to help production at the farm they owned on the edge of town
- >All the while, you were trying to muster up the courage to ask her why she'd asked you in particular for help
- >This went on for quite some time
- >You had both been there for about an hour or so when you finally decided to pop the question
- "Hey, Sunset? Can I ask you something?"
- >She looked up from her paper and smiled as she nodded
- >"Sure, Anon. Go ahead."
- "Well.. Why did you ask me for help? There's tons of other students in class who I'm sure could be more of a help to you."
- >She looked back down to her work as she answered
- >"I noticed that you take a lot of notes during class. Figured you could share it with me. Plus... A lot of those other students would either say mean things or freak out when if I asked for help. You didn't seem like you'd do either."
- "Well, I guess after the whole she-demon thing..."
- >You noticed Sunset's cheerful mood seem to change the instant you brought that up, her smile fading
- >You bit your tongue and mentally cursed yourself as you prepared to either be yelled at, ditched, or both
- >"Honestly... I was kind of hoping I might be able to start making a new image for myself."
- >She looked back up at you as she spoke
- >"I want to be able to start making new friends around without the past haunting me everywhere I go. I thought maybe you could understand a little of how I felt, since I never really see you hanging around with anyone else, either."
- >The look of sad disappointment she gave you made you want to punch yourself in the face as hard as humanly possible
- "Sunset, I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to be insensitive like that, I meant it as a joke.. I... Really don't think of you like that. It's a big part of history at this school and even in this town, yeah, but I don't think of you as being that way anymore. You've actually seemed really nice, and I wish more people would see that."
- >She looked at you with a neutral expression
- >You honestly felt really shitty for having upset her, especially after having just gotten to start talking to her just a while ago
- >"I believe you, Anon."
- >She smiled as she spoke those words, then went back to copying your notes
- >Those words she spoke stayed in your mind for the rest of the day, and well into the night, long after you'd both said your goodbyes and both had headed back home for the night
- >As always, the morning came too early for you
- >After completing your morning routine of showering, brushing your teeth, and getting dressed, you made a few pieces of toast before hopping out the door
- >While going down the steps, you suddenly found yourself slipping uncontrollably
- >You prepared for a hard hit on the concrete, but found your fall cushioned by something unexpected
- >You picked yourself up and took a good look around
- >Snow.
- >Snow Everywhere.
- >Darn. Must've had a good dusting overnight, the ground was coated
- >No bike today, didn't want to risk falling and hurting something more than your pride
- >The trudge to school was long, cold, and wet one
- >You somehow managed to arrive at school on time, however
- "I guess Hell does wait."
- >You made your way to your locker and shed your heavier layers of warmth before grabbing your books and preparing for the day
- >Once again, the day was filled with boring lectures and more notes, which he continued to jot down almost subconsciously
- >You hadn't seen a trace of Sunset today
- >Perhaps she wasn't able to make it to school due to snowfall
- >Or perhaps you had simply dreamed yesterday's pleasant encounter with the mysterious girl
- >The thought of that made the usual boring classes seem twice as long
- >You sighed as you placed your larger books you didn't feel like lugging back home into your locker
- >Once you shut the door, you were met with a pleasant surprise
- >"Hey Anon!"
- >Sunset walked towards you, a bright smile on her face
- >She was dressed a bit more warmly than usual, given the much cooler temperature
- "Hey Sunny!"
- >You mentally facepalmed the moment that word left your mouth
- >You always thought of her as "Sunny" in your head, but didn't really give much thought to how dumb it must sound to her out loud
- >She simply giggled and walked up to you, slinging her backpack over her shoulder before speaking
- >"Hey Anon, I was wondering if maybe you could give me a hand again with homework today? The snow made me late to school, and I missed biology. Aren't you in that class?"
- >You quickly smile and nod
- >Maybe the snow was good for something
- "Yeah, sure I do. You want to hit Joe's again? I'm getting kinda hungry."
- >"Sure, that'd be great."
- >She smiled as she turned for her locker
- >"See you there!"
- >Trudging through the cold, again
- >But this time the destination was worth the long haul
- >You stepped into Joe's and brushed off the cold before taking your usual seat at the window booth
- >"Hey kid. What can I get you today?"
- >You ordered a few snacks from Joe, along with two hot chocolates
- >The drinks were already on the table by the time Sunset arrived
- >Cheerful, as usual
- >"Hey Anon! You look kinda cold."
- >You grabbed you warm drink and took a good swig from it
- "Pfft, cold weather never bothers me."
- >You were obviously lying
- >Even inside Joe's, you felt like you were in a freezer
- >The minutes went by, you and Sunset idly conversing while doing your homework
- >Sunset asked about your parents
- >You explained how your father was often away for extended periods of time due to his work
- >Your mother always went with her sister to help their mother during the winter season
- >You usually had things to yourself this time of year
- >"Must get pretty lonely.. Especially during the holidays."
- "Nah. At least I don't have to spend money on a ton of gifts."
- >She giggled softly
- "What about you? Your parents?"
- >Sunset's cheerfulness seemed to diminish slightly
- >She explained how she had left her family and home shortly before coming to Canterlot High, but didn't say where her home had been
- >You thought it best not to dwell on the subject
- >You'd both finished your hot chocolates and most of your homework by the time you finally looked outside
- "Whoa, getting kinda dark outside
- >The snow had also begun to fall again
- >"Maybe we should be getting home, don't want to have to start walking back in complete darkness
- >You agreed and began to gather up your school work and prepare for another cold trip home
- >Sunset gave you warm hug before starting on her way home
- >Your place was in the opposite direction
- >While walking away, you couldn't help but to glance back at her
- >She looked really cute walking through the snow
- >She turned to wave at you with a smile
- >A smile you could've swore melted the cold around her, and maybe a little bit in you, too
- >You'd seen the struggles of your old friends, brought on by relationship-induced drama
- >They'd fight
- >They'd bicker
- >Such inseparable friends turned to enemies
- >You never wanted to be a part of that, which is why you had detached yourself from most relationships over the past few years
- "Maybe now is time for a change.."
- >You thought to yourself
- "Maybe now is time for a-"
- >Your train of thought was derailed by a loud shriek
- >That was Sunset's voice
- "Oh no..">You turned on your heel and ran in the opposite direction as fast as you could
- >Paste Joe's and down the sidewalk
- >You turned left down the corner, but skidded to a stop and dove for cover behind a trash can when you saw them
- >Five figures towards the middle of the block
- >Two of them leaned against the side of the building, two stood in front of the last
- >The last, was clearly Sunset
- >One of them had their hands on Sunset's shoulders and appeared to be trying to rough her up
- >The figure looked almost female...
- "No..."
- >That, was Gilda
- >She had graduated from Canterlot High last year, only by threatening and bribing
- >You never saw her actually study on any type of schoolwork
- >And now, she was, for some reason, threatening Sunset, with the added muscle of her goons
- >You couldn't just sit there
- "Think, Anon, think..."
- >You took a deep breath before getting to your feet, and, against your better judgment, and self-preservation instincts, emerged from behind the can
- >You reached into the left side pocket of your backpack to pull out the multi-tool you usually used for your bike in case of emergency
- >You flicked out the knife blade and began stepping towards the group
- >You knew they wouldn't be intimidated by you and a tiny knife, but they might be intimidated by numbers..
- "You! Hey! You four! Let that girl go!"
- >You yelled out, in the most intimidating voice you could muster
- >Quickly, the lights in nearby apartments were turned on and shown through the windows
- >The three males took nervous looks around before starting to back away
- >"I'll deal with you later!"
- >Gilda yelled, before striking Sunset across her face, and turning to run after her companions
- >You ran to Sunset, who was lying on the sidewalk pavement
- >Gilda's blow must have been hard enough to knock her unconscious
- >You put the knife into your pocket before putting your hands on her shoulders and shaking her gently
- >She didn't respond
- >You took a few moments to look her over for injury
- >She was still breathing fine, but had a bruise across her left cheek, and a gash on her forehead, which was bleeding at a slow, ye steady pace
- >She must've hit the concrete pretty hard..
- >The snow was starting to come down pretty hard now
- >You didn't know where she lived, and didn't want to risk the long haul across town to the hospital
- >What could you do?
- "Sunset, hey! Wake up!"
- >You sighed heavily as you sat back on your comfy red chair
- >Sunset was lying on the red couch across from you, still unconscious
- >You had pushed through the snow and brought her back to your home
- >You'd tended to her wounds, recalling your training from your Boy Scout days
- "I knew all that would come in need one day..."
- >Sunset didn't look as if she'd be waking up for a while, so you decided to turn on the T.V.
- >"Eggads, Holmes! The butler?"
- >Click
- >"I lost 37 punds on-"
- >Click
- >"Come on down and eat at J-"
- >Click
- >"And now, in the local area, snowstorms continue to drop the fluffy stuff all over town. We can expect at least eight inches on the ground by 7:00 I the morning, with storms continuing throughout the day."
- >well, at least you probably wouldn't have to get to school tomorrow
- >One good thing out of all of this
- >the news bored you, as it usually did
- >Soon, you felt yourself begin to drift off to sleep in your seat
- .you couldn't even object before you slipped off to dreamland completely
- >You awoke to the sound of a loud shriek
- >You opened your eyes to see Sunset sit up on the couch, before grasping her head in pain
- >In an instant, you were by her side, trying to help calm her
- "Shh, shh, You're okay, Sunset. you're safe, I promise."
- >"A-Anon..? Where am I..? W-what happened..?
- "You're in my living room, Sunset. And, I'm not too sure. Someone hit you and knocked you out..."
- >Sunset's eyes instantly widened, her mind recalling the events that had transpired a few hours before
- "Sunset."Sunset.. What were those four doing?"
- >You asked, giving her a concerned look
- >Sunset didn't seem to want to answer
- >She gave you quite a few untrue answers, which you saw right through, before she finally began to make sense
- >Sunset explained how Gilda had heard about her display of power at the Fall Formal
- >Sunset had refused to tell Gilda how to obtain such power, causing Gilda to threaten her by going after her close friends
- >Aside from five friends who'd helped stop her rampage at the Formal, whom no one dared to act out against, she couldn't find anyone else close to Sunset whom she could harm
- >Sunset told you how Gilda had resorted to simply targeting her, which had been going on for quite some time
- "So.. this is not the first time she's harmed you?"
- >"No.. I-it's happened several times."
- >Sunset was on the verge of tears, after recalling all of her encounters with Gilda and her group
- >Not being able to think of any words that might offer comfort, you sighed, before simply reaching out and hugging her softly
- >The disgruntled girl almost tackled you as soon as you did, latching onto you in a tight hug as she bawled into your shoulder
- >"Oh anon, I..I just don't know what to do!"
- >You pulled her close into your tight embrace, patting her back softly
- "Gilda is nothing but trouble. Always has been, always will be. But, she'll back off if she things her violent acts will be exposed. That's why her and her friends ran today."
- >"I don't see how that helps.. No one ever wants to be around me, let alone help me with something like that.."
- >You sighed softly before pulling away
- >you placed your hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes as preparation for what you were about to say
- "Sunset.. I believe you. I'll listen to you. I help you in any way I can. I.."
- >You caught your tongue before you said anymore
- >Not yet...
- "I'll do whatever I can."
- >Sunset's eyes were tearing up again from your words
- >"R-really..?"
- "I promise.">The time seemed to pass slowly
- >You held Sunset in your arms still, sitting in your living room, watching whatever looked interesting on the T.V.
- >>You knew you had to ask
- >You didn't want to bring down her mood by bringing up the subject of Gilda and her attacks, but if you were to help stop this, you had to knew all you could
- "hey Sunset, can I ask you about.. you know, Gilda?"
- >She looked up at you
- >The look on her face told you she didn't want to speak of it, but she sighed softly, and nodded
- >"Sure, Anon. What would you like to know?"
- "If I'm gonna help you, then I need to know how they're working. Can you start off by telling me how it usually goes down? Even the smallest detail could help."
- >She sighed again and began to explain
- >"Well, Gilda is always the first to confront me, usually with one of the guys standing with her, but he'll rarely say anything. He's got shaggy brown hair that covers his eyes."
- "Hoops. Hoops is his name."
- >"Yeah, it's usually him."
- "Which means it's probably Dumb-bell and Score who're the other two. Have hoops or the other two ever hurt you?"
- >"No.. Only Gilda. She tried to make one of them hit me once, but he didn't do it.. Probably scared that someone might find out."
- >"Gilda usually just jabs my stomach with a fist or stomps on my feet. She's never hit me as hard as she did today before..."
- >Sunset raised her left hand to gently rub her head as she spoke, which you had bandaged to help keep the bleeding down
- >You leaned your head down to plant a soft kiss on her forehead
- >This caused Sunset to blush
- >You were beginning to get angry
- >Poor Sunset had been taking this type of punishment for months
- >You wanted nothing more than to return the favor to her abusers
- >Your thoughts of anger and hatred were broken by a sound
- >You looked at Sunset to see her stretching her arms and yawning
- >She let out a quiet squeak as she yawned
- >That was probably the cutest thing you'd you'd ever heard
- "Sleepy?"
- >Sunset nodded softly and looked up at you with half-lidded eyes
- >"Do you think you could maybe bring me a blanket and a pillow?"
- "Nonsense."
- >You got off the couch and stood before holding your hand out to her
- "Can't leave you out here on the couch."
- >She looked as if she was going to pretest, but after a few sleepy blinks, she gave up before she even started, and took your hand
- >You helped her off the couch and down the hall slowly
- >She had complained earlier of her vision being a bit fuzzy from the fall
- >You didn't want her to lose balance and fall, and you certainly had no problem with holding her to your side as you walked
- >you took the second door on the left, and led her into a spacious room with a large, comfy looking bed
- >You figured with your parents gone, they wouldn't mind their bed being used once
- >Sunset sat down on the bed and smiled before lying back on the large blanket
- >"Mmm, it's like laying on a cloud! I can't remember the last time I had a bed this comfy."
- >You smiled a she removed her jacket, kicked off her boots, and made herself comfy on the bed
- "All yours."
- >You turned and began to walk towards the door
- >Sunset quickly sat up and looked at you
- >"A-Anon! Can I uhh.."
- >You turned to look at her, raising a brow questioningly
- >She stammered a bit more before finally spitting out real words
- >"C-could you maybe..um.. Bring me a glass of water?"
- >You saw right through that smile of hers
- >That wasn't what she wanted to ask
- "Of course. Be right back."
- >You returned a minute later with the glass of water
- >You set the glass down on the nightstand and looked at her
- "Is there anything else I can bring for you?"
- >You wanted to give her a chance to ask again
- >She blushed a bit, and looked as if she was about to speak, but then shook her head
- >"N-no thank you. Goodnight, Anon!"
- "Nighty-night, Sunset.
- >You exited the room with a smirk on your face
- >Sunset sat there on the bed, she still looked dissatisfied
- >"Damnit.."
- Sunset POV:
- >Sunset sat there for several minutes, mentally kicking herself in the ass for having not acted when given the chance
- "Damnit..."
- "I missed my chance. He probably wouldn't take me seriously now if I tried again.."
- >She scratched her chin in thought
- "Then again, he brought me into his home and patched me up.. He obviously cares to some extent."
- "Then again, maybe I shouldn't bother him after all he's done.."
- >Sunset pressed her right palm against her forehead before dragging herself off the bed
- >She was still a bit wobbly, but determination prevailed over injury
- >You, Anon, were lying on your bed in your room
- >You were pretending to read an old camping magazine, which you were holding upside down
- >"Hey Anon?"
- >You looked towards your open door
- >The voice, of course, came from Sunset
- >She stood in your doorframe, clasping her hands together and rocking back and forth on her heels in a nervous fashion
- >She sighed softly and stood still, looking at you with a serious look about her
- >"What I really wanted to ask you, was if you'd like to sleep with me."
- >Wo.
- >You had anticipated she might come back to ask, but you were a bit surprised she did so in such a straightforward manor
- >"It sounds stupid, I know, but.. I just thought it'd be kinda nice."
- >She looked down with a bit of a defeated expression
- >She seemed to take your hesitation as a no, and turned to walk away
- "Wait!"
- >You practically shouted, as you leaped from your bed and over to the girl, your magazine tumbling to the floor
- >She stopped and turned to look at you
- >You stood in front of her and smiled, looking down into her eyes
- "Yeah.."
- "Yeah I'd love to.">You followed Sunset back into the room
- >You both laid down on the bed and shut the lights off
- >Despite being the one who had asked first, Sunset still seemed a bit nervous
- >You chuckled softly at her nervous blush and gently wrapped your arms around her, pulling her close against your chest
- "Relax. Get some sleep. School will be canceled due to the snowfall, no doubt."
- >The girl seemed to relax into your embrace, wrapping an arm around you as she rested against your body, shutting her eyes
- >You figured her openness to cuddling with you after only a day or two of really knowing each other was brought on by emotional stress from the ordeal with Gilda
- >You stared dully up at the ceiling before shutting your eyes, quietly enjoying the feeling of holding Sunset in your arms
- >You'd never really gotten this close to anyone before
- >But this just felt right
- >There, with her, you felt content
- >No needs needed to be spoken
- >You had always felt a certain way about Sunset
- >You cared for her
- >More than you cared for anyone
- >You made a silent promise to yourself, and her, in that moment
- >As long as you drew breath, Sunset Shimmer would never need to feel alone again
- >And, hopefully, neither would you
- >You awoke in a cold shiver
- >Forcing your eyes open, you looked over to your alarm clock
- >6:37AM
- >So cold...
- >The snowfall must have caused the drastic temperature drop
- >You then recall that you had indeed forgotten to turn up the heater before bed
- >You looked down to see Sunset still gripping onto you tightly
- >She too was shivering from cold, but was still asleep
- >You managed to reach down and pull up the fluffy blanket over both of you without disturbing the sleeping girl
- >As you lay there with the girl, your thoughts drifted to what the day might hold
- >Sunset would eventually have to go home...
- >Perhaps you could put that off for a while
- >You could make her breakfast
- >Then check her injuries
- >Perhaps you could use that to stall her from going home...
- >You let out a sigh and mentally kicked yourself
- "She obviously likes you... no need to weird her out, Anon. You're her friend. You'll probably be seeing a lot of her in the time to come
- >You didn't want to be one of those over-possessive people that keeps the girl they like inside all the time
- >After a little while longer, however, you decided that making the both of you some breakfast wouldn't be a bad idea
- >You managed to slip out of bed without waking Sunset
- >After taking a look around at your inventory of ingredients, you began slaving away over the stove
- >A good while had passed by the time Sunset Shimmer had wandered into the kitchen, following the smell of a freshly cooked meal
- >You looked over at her from your place in front of the stove with a smile
- >Sunset yawned as she stepped forwards, coming next to you
- >"I weren't there when I woke up.. I got a little worried."
- >You gave her a soft pat on the back with your off hand
- >You poured the last of the scrambled eggs you'd been cooking onto a plate, which you then moved to the table
- >Sunset smiled brightly at the assortment of food you had laid out across the table
- >Toast
- >Scrambled eggs
- >Hash browns
- >A few various fruits
- >You even had a few strips of bacon you'd found in the freezer
- >It wasn't a spectacular job, but Sunset looked as if she'd just opened up an amazing present on Christmas day
- >Sunset simply gave you a tight hug before you motioned for her to sit down and eat
- >The both of you sat at the table and began eating the meal, which you were rather proud of
- >At one point when Sunset was chomping on a piece of bacon, you looked up at her and couldn't help but laugh
- >"What?"
- >She asked, with her mouth full
- "Nothing, Sunset. Just... thought of something funny."
- >You didn't know ho to tell her that her hair reminded you of one massive flowing piece of bacon
- >Sunset simply went back to eating
- "Hey, after breakfast, I'm gonna check your head. Replace the bandages."
- >"What do you wanna do after that?"
- "Well.. If you want to head home, I understand."
- >Sunset's mood seemed to drop at the mention of being sent home
- "Or, we could.. Hm..."
- >"If you want me to go home, that's okay, Anon. I'm sure you've got stuff to catch up on, having spent last night and this morning tending to me and whatnot."
- >You really didn't want her to leave just yet...
- "Tell you what. Let's just see where the day takes us."
- >She smiled and nodded, seeming to be more content with that answer
- >After the both of you had finished breakfast, Sunset helped you clean up the kitchen
- >You then led her into the living room, and, using the first aid kit you had pulled out last night, began redressing her wounds
- >"I'm feeling a lot better this morning. My vision isn't so fuzzy, and I don't have that throbbing headache anymore.
- >She said, smiling slightly as you tied off the fresh bandage on her head, which her hair mostly covered
- "That's good. Means it wasn't too severe. Minor concussion, most likely."
- >"Hey, would you want to go out today? That is, if the snow isn't too heavy."
- "Out? Like, where are you thinking?"
- >Sunset shrugged her shoulders
- >"Just around town. I wanted to look at some warmer clothes."
- >Sunset Shimmer just asked you to go shopping with her
- "Hey, I'll go with you, but I don't know the first thing about fashion. That girl you sometimes hang out with looks like she might, though. Rarity.. I think her name is?"
- >Sunset nodded with confirmation
- >"Mhm, Rarity is her name. And, last time I tried to go shopping with her, I almost spent a fortune. She likes those real pricey stores at the mall and such. I wouldn't mind opinion of someone a little more..."
- >You cocked your head and raised an eyebrow as Sunset searched for the word she was looking for
- "Cheap?"
- >She blushed a little
- >"You know that's not what I meant!"
- >You chuckled at her reaction, before standing and helping her off the couch
- "Well, I don't want to go walking through the snow."
- >You thought for a few moments about your options
- >Your mother had explicitly said to not use the car unless it was an emergency
- "Come with me, I have an idea."
- >You said, taking her hand and leading her towards the garage
- >You pushed open the door to the garage
- >Aside from the various junk, there was a clunky looking red Jeep
- >Even if you could take it, it probably wouldn't start in the cold, anyways
- >"What are we doing in here, Anon?"
- "You'll see."
- >The garage was fairly spacious, holding various shelves and tables of things your father liked to work on in his spare time, when he was home

- >"What?"
- >You stepped over and pulled the tarp from the object, making a cloud of dust
- >There it was
- >Your father's old Harley Davidson
- "It's my dad's. He used to ride this every day."
- >The bike looked to be in fairly good condition
- >It's red paint job was still decent
- "Parents said I couldn't take the car. Never said anything about this."
- >"Anon, that thing looks pretty old... Will it even start?"
- "Well, we'll about to find out."
- >You said, giving her a grin
