- The protest to save the Redwood Grove at Ridge Road and Le Roy Avenue has a lot of support from long time residents, students, faculty and visitors to Berkeley (California). The trees are well admired.
- With so much public support, the Ridge Redwood protest is to be a reflective protest. It is a quiet grove, in a quieter part of town. Things to do at the grove: look at the trees; watch birds, and organize a movement to save the trees in a peaceful atmosphere.
- The term "peaceful protest" may be a cliche, but the redwood grove is peaceful.
- The most immediate action people can take to save the trees is to contact the UC and Berkeley city government and issue support for the redwoods:
