-Core Description-

   The Golem Core, created by the Makers, is a mysterious magical device that, on the outside, appears to be a smooth spherical object. The material composing the core can be virtually anything but the lower tiered cores are almost always made from stone. The inner workings of the core undergoes a strange transformation that appears to turn it into a geode. Stone cores seem to simply have quartz geodes but higher grade materials will likely manifest more valuable or unique geodes.

    The Golem Core is “programed” by the Makers using a unique magic created by them. This magic utilizes precise magical signals that are shot into the core from the Maker’s finger tips or through the use of some of their special tools. The signal must be done at a variety of frequencies and at a variety of angles, the signals change the shape and properties of the geode inside of the core effectively “programming” it to take on various traits or shapes once activated.

    The Golem Core is activated using a specialized signal that switches the core on. No known method besides destroying the core or golem itself has been discovered to turn a core off again. Once turned on the magic of the Makers spreads throughout the core, starting from its center. The magic inside of it is amplified and multiplied by the core until enough energy has been built up to actually create the golem, this event is known as the Creation Point.

    Once the Creation Point has been reached the built up energy of the core is expelled from the core in tendrils of brilliant and various hues of energy, the hue and brilliance of this energy depends on the quality of the core. These tendrils of energy will either seek out random material or reach into pre-programed and prepared material, from this point it will either shape and then animated the body or, if a body has already been shaped, it will just animated the body.

    Should a core be removed from an active golem or destroyed the golem will fall apart if it was shaped by the core or simply grow still if it was only animated by the core. The built up energy will be dispersed into the surrounding area. This does of course mean that most damage done to any part of the Golem besides the core is superficial or, at best, debilitating.

-Core Configurations-
-SC Golem-
-Single Core Golem, the standard configuration for a golem, the shape and size vary depending on its purpose and the power of its core.
-DC Golem-
-Dual Core Golem, more powerful than usual golems and capable of more complex tasks.

-Golem Type-
-Manual Labor, useful for menial tasks and heavy lifting, not capable of finesse or taking complex actions.
-Builder, useful for constructing structures or golem bodies, capable of some level of finesse or complex action depending on core configuration and power.

-Core Type-
-MK1, Stone Golem Cores with a circumference of 5 inches. These are the simplest cores the Makers can create and have limited power, functionality and complexity, larger cores or better yet superior materials are required to manufacture superior cores.

-Legion MK1. Stone Golem Core with a circumference of 15 inches. These cores are fairly complex and have a unique effect. They are embedded into a Controller Golem that, while being weak by itself, gains the ability to control 15 other man sized golems that must remain within 15 miles of the controller golem.
