  1. Hi everyone and WELCOME!!
  2.
  3. This concept works in Almaty (started December 2009) - we post messages about ''What's On in Astana'' and every now and again - well, three times during 2010 - around 80 of us - met up for a mid-week drink - great new friends from Kazakhstan and all around the world, meeting together, chatting in English... mainly! and having a fun evening.
  4.
  5. The original concept is to keep all informed about what is going on in town, as soon as we hear about it - opera, philharmonica, ballet, concerts, hiking & trips and maybe even events just a short trip away in other Kazakh cities - good new restaurants in town, Oh yes ... art exhibitions and fund raising events.
  6.
  7. So......... PLEASE do upload different stuff each month to help us all have extra fun in town, and give us all more options to meet new friends, and to make the most of it all.
  8.
  9. People who request to join this group, but have no ties at all to Kazakhstan, no friends already in the group, and a brand new and/or empty facebook profile will find their membership request delayed whilst investigations are carried out, due to recent spamming problems.
  10.
  11. All ages, backgrounds and beliefs are welcome,
