  1. “...ke up, please wake up!”
  2. >”wha?”
  3. >You open your eyes and suddenly there’s a very alarmed filly’s face really close to yours
  4. >”What the hell!”
  5. >You flail about as the filly takes a few steps back
  6. >You stare at the filly for a few seconds before you properly wake up and remember where you are
  7. >Well, not remember but- screw it too early, and this... Honey something is looking at you
  8. >She looks scared
  9. >You rub your eyes and properly sit up from the floor
  10. >”What is it kid?”
  11. >Honey Mug quickly latches onto you with a hug and then just shivers there while glancing at the door to the bedroom
  12. “I heard a sound...”
  13. >Suddenly there’s a thud which makes you instantly whip your head towards the closed bedroom door
  14. >Honey Mug lets out a squeak and buries her face against your coat while hugging you even stronger than before and emitting muffled scared moth filly noises
  15. >”Did you notice anypony coming into the house during the night?”
  16. >Honey Mug lifts her head and looks at you with moist eyes
  17. “N-no, I just woke u-“
  18. >Another thud and she once again hides against you
  19. >You pry the scared filly off of yourself and leave her on the floor while slowly walking towards the door
  20. >You place your ear against the door and listen
  21. >...no sounds at all
  22. >You give the door a little push, but find that it doesn’t budge at all
  23. >That’s strange, yesterday it did open up just enough for you to peek into the room
  24. >You take a few steps back while eying the door
  25. >Honey Mug wastes no time in running to you and hiding under you
  26. >”I’m going to go take a look from the outside, you stay put”
  27. >You push the resisting filly away from beneath you
  28. >Better have her sitting tight here than risking her running off on her own again
  29. >You turn a deaf ear the Honey Mugs protests and walk towards the front door
  30. >”Just stay there and...”
  31. >suddenly she runs in front of you, looking very frightened
  32. “Please don’t leave me here all alone Mr. Snow”
  33. >Another thud and the filly jolts in fright, making you sigh
  34. >but... for some reason... looking at her being that frightened makes you, makes you feel-
  35. >You just scoff at yourself
  36. >”Fine, but if you run off kid you’re on your own, I’m not going to run after you
  37. >The filly gives you a little smile
  38. >You walk outside from the house while contemplating why on earth you felt so sorry for this frightened little filly, it’s none of your conce-
  39. >But then you stop and stare
  40. >”...what the hell?”
  41. >There’s some sort of a white, spongy wall going from one side of the forest to the other, cutting the whole field in half
  42. >That was not there yesterday...
  43. “W-what is that?”
  44. >Honey Mug looks at the wall with her eyes wide
  45. >You take a few steps forward and just keep looking at it
  46. >”No idea kid”
  47. >You also notice that the frost-like substance has spread too, and the ground looks almost moldy near the towering wall
  48. >Like a big white wall that was erected on the middle of the field, making it impossible to walk over to the other side of the field
  49. >You stop thinking about it as you notice something else
  50. >The white statue on the yard is nowhere to be seen
  51. >But then your ears twitch as you hear a thud loud enough to be heard outside the house
  52. >You shake your head to clear your mind while Honey Mug glances at the front door of the house like something would burst soon trough it and chase the two of you
  53. >first you need to check the bedroom out, the rest can come after that
  54. >You start walking around the house towards the window to the bedroom as Honey Mug quickly runs after you, frightened to leave your side
  55. >More of that frost-like substance on the plants on the yard of this house...
  56. >You arrive to the window and to your surprise it looks like it’s frosted
  57. >you try to scrape a little of the frost away, but your hoof just touches glass
  58. >”It’s on the inside?”
  59. >Honey Mug rises to her hind hooves and peek at the window
  60. “What is?”
  61. >You ignore her and press your face against the glass to look inside
  62. >It’s hard to make out anything so you squint your eyes and look around more
  63. >weird, where that white statue was you can only see these white pieces that almost look like a shell...
  64. >But then you see something else
  65. >A moving shape of a pony
  66. >So there is someone inside the bedroom, and the shape can’t be the statue since it’s moving around
  67. >”Hey!”
  68. >the shape turns to look at you
  69. >”I can see and hear you! Open the door or the window, I want to ask you some things!”
  70. >The shape starts moving towards the window, good, maybe finally you’ll get some info and can leave the filly with this pony who’ll take her to her parents
  71. >But then the shape suddenly lunges forward and impacts against the window
  72. >”SHIT!”
  73. “AAAAAAAAAAAA!”
  74. >You jump away from the window while Honey Mug holds onto you like her life depended on it
  75. >Pressed against the window is not the face of a pony, but... something else
  76. >The white head looks like a ponies, but there’s no eyes. Instead you can see a pair of slug-like white antennae, and a smaller pair on each side of its mouth
  77. >The thing keeps its face pressed against the glass and opens its mouth, exposing... you don’t even know what that is
  78. >it looks like a cross between a pink spear and a tongue, and it scrapes against the glass as the creature keeps trying to get trough it
  79. “A m-m-m-monster...”
  80. >You pry her off of you once again and then get up and take a few steps towards the window
  81. >The creature starts to scrape the window with its tongue more vigorously and hits its hooves against the frame around it
  82. “Snow!”
  83. >You quickly turn to look at Honey Mug
  84. “A few ponies ran past the house!”
  85. >You quickly scoop up the filly, she won’t be fast enough to follow you on her own, and run back to the front of the house while she hangs onto you
  86. >”You Ponies, wait I-“
  87. >But you stop and stare as two ponies stand next to the white spongy wall while flailing around in panic as their body gets cocooned into a white wax-like state
  88. >Honey Mug squeaks in fright and once again buries her face into your coat for safety
  89. >And just like that, there are two of those weird white pony statues standing next to the wall
  90. >You glance at the ground and also notice more of those white shell pieces, but you also notice something more dire
  91. >they look almost pony-like, it can’t be...
  92. >Suddenly you feel very unsafe out here, you need to get away from that white wall
  93. >and those ponies came running from the opposite direction...
  94. >You take off galloping while Honey Mug hangs onto you and lets out a surprised squeak
  95. >As you gallop you notice that the farther away you get form the white wall the less you see of that white stuff
  96. >but there’s some mist in the air, and it’s getting thicker the longer you go
  97. >But then you see something good
  98. >a roof, then another peaking from the horizon, seems like this farmhouse and field area was located on a small hill
  99. >Suddenly Honey Mug speaks up, making you stop
  100. “I know this village!”
  101. >”You do?”
  102. >Honey Mug nods and climb off of you
  103. “Yeah, it’s where my grandparents live...”
  104. >You notice a worried look on the filly’s face
  105. >”Something wrong?”
  106. >Honey Mug keeps looking at the ground
  107. “I just don’t know why I’m here, my parents live in another village...”
  108. >Honey Mug looks up at you now
  109. “D-do you think there will be monsters there?”
  110. >You scoop the filly back onto your back while looking at the village in the distance
  111. >”I don’t know, but I need to warn the village guards about what I saw”
  112. >Not to mention you need to find out what you are even doing here
  113. >You take off with newfound urgency and rush to the village
  114. >But you stop as you notice something on the tree trunks
  115. >that white, almost frost-like fuzz
  116. >You keep running towards the village while ignoring the growing worry, not to mention how you are really getting tired of running, and soon you make out a small group of ponies by a few houses and head towards them
  117. >”This is urgent, I need to contact the guards and fast!”
  118. >The ponies notice you and turn to look at you
  119. “S-snow...”
  120. >You stop running as you realize something
  121. >these ponies are all white, and they look off even from a little distance
  122. >they start to walk towards you with jerky awkward steps as you stay put with your eyes fixated on them, and soon they are close enough for you to make them out properly in your exhausted state
  123. “AAAAAAAAA!”
  124. >Honey Mug lets out a shriek and then closes her eyes while tightening her hold on you
  125. >But you just stare at the things, finally being able to fully see one
  126. >They’re the same as the thing you saw in the farm house
  127. >Weird, white pony shaped beings, you’d almost take them for ponies if it was not for those 4 slug-like tentacles and weird white sponge-like blobs on their packs, where the wings on a mothpony would be
  128. >”Oh hell...”
  129. >You quickly whip around a-
  130. >”SHIT!”
  131. >You hop back, making Honey Mug almost choke you as she holds onto you and lets out a meek squeak while holding her eyes closed
  132. >Two more of these things have appeared from between the buildings and are alarmingly close to you
  133. >You look around for a possible escape as the things closer to you open their mouths, tips of their harpoon-like tongues starting to slowly peek out
  134. >There, a small little street
  135. >You quickly take off running while the things follow you
  136. >Just as you are about to run past another house a door opens and a hoof quickly pulls you in, throwing you and Honey Mug to the floor as the door slams shut
  137. >you quickly open your eyes and jump up, ready to-
  138. “Chief?”
  139. >You stand there as Honey Mug quickly runs to your side as the two of you look at an unknown pony wearing a filtration mask
  140. “Chief Snow, it is you!”
