They came back in pieces, fragments. The first memory came to him while drinking his second cup of Ebenezer's tea. He remembered brother Reese, visiting him with Fredinand and Alois. It was the small as the memory he already had...but more. They way they would look at him after he spoke, what he said and what thy said was still a muffled like words spoken through water.
Ebenezer asked him what was wrong but he waved it off and finished the cup.
