You're right, it is a Pokemon site, and we're making a meta for playing Pokemon and broadening the options people have for playing the game, as well as increasing the amount of different resources and discussions.

An answer to what, you just slamming the meta and giving zero constructive criticism? I wouldn't mind if you actually had something to say that added positively to the discussion, like asking questions about viability or even trying to suggest things that could be changed in a positive manner.

The reasons the meta is good; the variety of viable Pokemon, most of which aren't viable in the current stale metagame due to power creep, in this gen the "power levels" of Pokemon are much closer; the special/physical split, which makes team building and Pokemon sets completely different to newer gens; the change in power and effectiveness of different moves, for example Explosion is great in this gen, but things like Knock Off aren't; its a refreshing change to XY LC, while still getting to play LC.

We're just trying to have fun, and I'd prefer it if you would just ignore it instead of trying to bring it down for no apparent reason, you haven't even played it. I can somewhat understand your reasons for not wanting us to get massive, but its only the beginning and those worries don't need to founded at all right now.
