  1. Alright, so just sit back and relax. You can close your eyes now, if you like, or leave them open. Whatever makes you feel comfortable. Right now, it's all about you, and what makes you most comfortable. Whether you're lying down, or sitting in a chair, or whatever makes you feel most comfortable. If you feel the need to move a little bit, that's just fine, because there's nothing expected of you, only what you desire.

  3. I want you to think about a leaf, floating on a river. The leaf doesn't move, does it? It allows the river to move it, flowing downstream easily, without resistance. It might flow through some fast water, or it might come to a near stop, at the rivers whim. If you can, for me, I'd like to imagine you are that leaf, drifting down, down from your tree slowly, your breath nice and even. Landing on the water smoothly and starting to drift downstream, without a worry in the world. At the end of this stream, there's a wonderful, tranquil lake, full of such peace. You know that you'll arrive at that lake, eventually, but you'rein no hurry to get there. You simply flow with the river, still breathing nice and slow. From time to time, a rock will be in your path, or perhaps a branch, and you simply flow around it. You flow around obstacles, accepting them rather than fighting them.

  5. Further and further downstream you flow. The closer you get to the lake, the more peaceful and relaxed you feel. The river has slowed to a brook, the world around you slowed to a gentle murmur. You're feeling so peaceful, so relaxed, that nothing bothers you. You simply drift downstream, floating on the water, not a care in the world. You wonder how you could feel any more relaxed, any more peaceful than you do right now. The sun beams down from on high as the stream flows to a near stop. You know that you're very nearly at your destination, a place of perfect peace and relaxation. The pure water carries you onward, bit by bit, the last traces of tension and worry leaving you, and you come to a stop, in the middle of a still lake. Perfectly relaxed, free of worry, just gently floating and breathing slowly.
