My name is Michael Bowman, I was born in Sacramento, California and moved to Los Santos with my family when I was fourteen. I attended Los Santos Highschool and graduated successfully with a diploma, I applied to the college in San Fierro and attended after summer break. I worked as a waiter to pay off any bills, a large part of my education was paid off by my parents. In college I studied Human Services and Youth Administration, mostly teenager psychology. While studying I realized that I want to get closer to people and youth as well, although from a different perspective, a way in which I might actually do good in the community instead of studying it. I also ran track in college, so I'm physically fit. I had experience with officers on several occasions at work, seeing the way they act and some of their responsibilities. I'm currently an extra waiter which means it's only a part-time job, if I go forward in the stages I'll completely focus on passing the academy.


6.II Why should we consider you for a position as a Deputy Sheriff Generalist? What makes you stand out compared to other recruits?:

First of all you should consider me because I fit the standards. I'm mentally stable, my medical status is great. I've ran track in College and often played Basketball with friends, so my fitness is great as well. I more or less know my way around weapons, when I was at college I visited the shooting range a lot, usually with friends. I went through a class talking about self-defense, it included situations in which you're armed and unarmed and I had the experience to be taught a bit about martial arts, mostly Krav Maga, developed by the IDF. I'm a good sport and can get myself familiarized with the rules and regulations quite fast. I'm a hard worker and all I've achieved in my life was achieved by hard work and dedication. I think I should be a considerable candidate due to those reasons.

There's not a lot that makes me stand out compared to other recruits. I can say that my social skills and knowledge are great, getting a major in Youth Administration taught me a lot about people and how to handle them, which is something that not all cops are able to do from my experience with them. I'm friendly and try to stand out, although even with that I'll mostly be behind my Training Officer if I will pass the academy and make my way into the department. My English is great, I'm a born US citizen and I was raised in a good home so I know the social standards and meet them. I usually keep my temper and avoid being rude, especially to those above me who have much more experience. After searching around the net and finding out more about the Sheriff's Department, I aspire to take part in most of the events and units and hope to stick to a field job rather than a desk job. I understand it can be difficult to advance and some situations are difficult to handle, but with the right training and skills that I already obtained I think I can have a successful career in the SD. I'm not really influenced by movies so I'm applying with an open mind, without any previous real police related experience, and I'm ready to learn.

I've been roleplaying around illegal factions for a long time, not only in LS-RP but in other servers as well. I had a chance to take a part in the LSPD but unfortunately it ended up in a bad time and I had to go inactive, resulting in a discharge. Right now I feel that there isn't anything attractive around besides the PD/SD. I'm choosing the SD because some of my friends are applying as well and I'd like to continue roleplaying with them. Some of my friends also recommended the SD, which just attracts me even more since I want to try out cop roleplay. I think that I fit and my roleplay fits the standards, I want to try out the SD and this time take it seriously, having an actual career and having a different experience.
