    Bio:
    Born the youngest daughter to a very prominent noble familiy in Liveton, Sophia was brought up in an extremely sheltered and wealthy environment, with everything she could have wished for.  However, she was always dissatisfied with her life, particularly as she heard of the outside world from her maids and her older brothers.  She shocked her parents by enlisting on her 17th birthday, believing strongly in the concept of noblesse oblige and deciding for herself that the best way to help her people and her country would be through the military.  Enemies of her family in the generalship decided to transfer her to a hardship posting in order to be rid of her and embarrass her family further when she inevitably washed out.  However, this backfired when she viewed being assigned as a healer and field medic with the Seventh Battalion as a boon, thinking it reflected their confidence in her skills to put her on the front lines where her skils were most needed.  Somewhat naive and trusting, she is fundamentally good-hearted and idealistic, but she doesn't necessarily understand those people who were born beneath her station well.
