  2. Love/Hate Relationship
  3. ---
  4. >Be Jim
  5. >At work, doing the night shift
  6. >There's this guy at work who just messes with his phone all night and runs into the back as soon as he sees a customer come around
  7. >You want to take his Packers cover off of his cell phone and shove it up his--
  8. >"Hey, Jimmy!"
  9. >You jump and turn back around to see Sonata standing at the counter
  10. "Freaking A, Sonata! Haven't I told you to--"
  11. >"I tried being quiet this time."
  12. >She has an apologetic face, so there's not really anything else you can ask from her
  13. >Not like she'd listen anyway
  14. "OK, what can I get you?"
  15. >"Oh, I don't want anything."
  16. "Thank you for coming to--"
  17. >"I was just wondering what you're doing after work!"
  18. "Jeeze! Can't I finish a thought in peace? Ugh... I was gonna go home and sleep. I don't get that very often."
  19. >"How come?"
  20. "Someone's been sending me messages at 2 in the morning."
  21. >"Really? Who would be... Oh. That's me. Me and the girls are gonna watch a movie after we're done. You wanna come?"
  22. "What do you girls even do here?"
  23. >"Pleeeeeease?"
  24. "If I go to your movie, do you promise not to send me any more 'look i caught Adagio sleeping again' texts?"
  25. >"Unless it's a really good one, yes."
  26. >"C'mon, Sonata," a purple-haired girl says coming up to the counter. "I'm getting bored. Let's just go."
  27. >"But we have to wait for Jim to get off his shift!"
  28. >"Seriously?! You're bringing your boyfriend along, too?"
  29. "Hey, it's not like I wanted to go!"
  30. >"Then don't."
  31. "You know what? If you're not getting anything, why don't you just take off now? Sonata and I will join you later."
  32. >"Ugh... when's your shift over?"
  33. "20 minutes."
  34. >"Fine. If you take a second longer, we're leaving without you."
  35. >She walks off before you can say another word
  36. >You wish she'd come back just so you can tell her off before you get calm again
  37. >You want to piss her off even more
  38. >You want to tell her that her beautiful eyes get ugly when she looks mad
  39. >You want to hold her and not let go
  40. >That'll show her
  41.
  42. >Get off your shift and the 4 of you walk outside
  43. "How did you three get here again?"
  44. >"We walked," Sonata says.
  45. >You look at your car
  46. >Then back at her
  47. "Oh, no no no no!"
  48. >"I call shotgun!"
  49. >"Really?" Aria says, obviously talking to you, but not even bothering to make eye contact
  50. "Really what?"
  51. >"That's what you drive? How much do they pay you here? Like 2 cents an hour?"
  52. "You know what? My car actually only seats three people."
  53. >Adagio cuts her off before she offers to walk the rest of the way
  54. >"We're actually really glad to have a ride there."
  55. >Your temper is growing out of hand with this chick with the highlights, but you let it go
  56. >It's all so you won't get any more 2 AM pictures
  57. >You get to the movie theater and try to avoid eye contact with Aria as much as possible
  58. >You really don't feel like getting pissed off tonight
  59. >Might as well get some popcorn and try to enjoy your evening
  60. >You pay the freaking $8 for your small bag of popcorn, but the minute you turn, you run into Aria
  61. >Your popcorn spills on the floor and her slushie spills all over her shirt
  62. >"You clumsy little faggot!"
  63. "You wanna run that by me one more time, woman?"
  64. >"I called you a clumsy little fag-got. Do you need me to write it down so you won't forget?"
  65. "That's it! Let's take this outside!"
  66. >"Gladly!"
  67. >"Jim, wait!" Sonata says, getting in between you two
  68. "Out of the way, Sonata."
  69. >"Jim, she didn't mean it!"
  70. >"Uhhh, yeah I did."
  71. >Adagio pulls Sonata away, knowing that the two of you are just going to make a scene unless you go outside and let all your anger out
  72. >You see Sonata with a face full of panic as the two of you walk outside, but this has to get taken care of
  73.
  74. "What's your problem?!"
  75. >"Maybe the fact that you just ruined my best shirt?"
  76. "You wear the same thing every day!"
  77. >"Hey, I change my outfit more than you do, loser. It happens when you're not at a minimum wage job with no skills."
  78. >You're so mad that veins start to appear in your forehead inb4 anime reference
  79. >You want to punch her in the gut
  80. >Then she'd bend over and you could drive your steel-toed boots right in her nose
  81. >When she starts crying, you'll push her onto the ground, not letting her get back up until she takes it all back
  82. >You want her to be in pain
  83. >You want to let out all the rage you've had since you met her
  84. >And then the two of you kiss
  85. >Your hand moves through her hair as she wraps her arms around your waist
  86. >With your free hand, you pull her in closer
  87. >She moves one hand up to your cheek, caressing it tenderly as her lips gently kiss yours
  88. >After a few moments, you finally pull off of each other, slightly out of breath
  89. >"You ever tell Sonata about that and I'll cut off your dick in your sleep."
  90. "Wasn't planning on it."
  91. >The two of you walk in, and Sonata immediately gasps in shock, seeing both of you with your hair messy
  92. >"Oh, my gosh! What happened!"
  93. >"We settled it like adults," Aria says with a chuckle
  94. >Sonata stomps towards the both of you
  95. >"That's enough fighting for the two of you for tonight!"
  96. >"No promises."
  97. >Aria winks at you
  98. >"Ohhhhh you're the worst! C'mon, Jim. I'll let you share my popcorn."
  99. >Sonata pulls you away, more frustrated than you think you've ever seen
  100. >You look back at Aria, whose scowl turns into a smug grin
  101. >...What just happened?
  102.
  103. >Throughout the movie, Sonata keeps making commentary
  104. >"No more 2AM pics" repeats over and over in your head
  105. >You don't even bother eating the popcorn
  106. >You saw Sonata picking her nose at one point during the movie and immediately shove her hand into the bag
  107. >"Wasn't that movie soooo good?"
  108. "So uh... how are you getting home?"
  109. >"You."
  110. "Sonata... get a job."
  111. >"Why would I do that?"
  112. >She has a point. She can get you to do pretty much anything at this point against your will
  113. >"Maybe that way he has someone to mooch off of," Aria says, squeezing your butt as she passes
  114. >You hope nobody saw that
  115. >The four of you then drive back to your work (seriously, where do these girls live?)
  116. >"I had a lot of fun tonight! OH! You wanna come and--"
  117. "No."
  118. >"Better not press any further, Sonata," Aria says, getting out of the car. "He's not very good at arguments."
  119. "Aria... can I talk to you for a minute?"
  120. >"Don't you dare!" Sonata says, trying to seem like an authority figure
  121. >"Relax, Sonata. Adagio, we'll be done in a second. Could you help give us some privacy?"
  122. >Adagio suddenly wears a confused face, but leads Sonata away
  123. >The minute their backs turn, Aria is on top of you, pressing her mouth onto yours
  124. >You pull her off quickly (feeling the faint touch of her tongue at the end), and hold her at arm's length
  125. "Aria, I'm not OK with this."
  126. >"Why?"
  127. "Cause you piss me off. That's why."
  128. >"Please. Like I'm gonna listen."
  129. "Get out of my car, woman!"
  130. >"I like a guy who tells me what to do."
  131. >She eases her way out of the car
  132. >"Even when those guys have no balls."
  133. >She slams the car door and walks away
  134. >Finally, it's over
  135. >Suddenly, you get a text
  136. >"Look at this funny face I caught Adagio making!"

  138. Jim's Party
  139. ---
  140. >Be Jim
  141. >Working on homework
  142. >For the first time ever, math is starting to make sense
  143. >So the answer is--
  144. >Ring ring
  145. >And it's gone
  146. "ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!"
  147. >You answer the phone
  148. "What?"
  149. >"Heyyyy."
  150. "Who is this?!"
  151. >"You mean you dun have my number in yer phone? I's Naomi you prickk!"
  152. "How did you get my number?! What do you want?!"
  153. >"I jus wanted to know why we nevr hang out."
  154. "Maybe because you're a crazy bit--"
  155. >"You know, maybe we could have a party and invite that blue grrl you like."
  156. "I swear, if you set up me and Sonata, I will find where you live, get my Zyklon B and--"

  158. "Naomi, again, if you bring her to my house--"
  159. >You hear a knock on the door
  160. >"Jiiiiiiim!"
  161. >You look out your window and see Sonata, Pinkie and half the school
  162. "DAAAAAMMIIIIIIIT!!! Naomi, when you get here, I'm going to--"
  163. >"Ackshully, I think I'm too drunk to drive. Tell me hao it goes, k? Mmmmmwah!"
  164. >The phone clicks, and so does the trigger.
  165.
  166. ---
  167. Bzzz
  168. ---
  169. >Be Jim
  170. >Eating some corn puffs to start your morning when your phone starts buzzing
  171. >Wonder who THAT could be? [/sarcasm]
  172. >You look at your phone and, sure enough, it's your living nightmare
  173. >Not today, though. Today's your day off.
  174. >You hit the silence button and return to your corn puffs
  175. >Later, you're sitting on the john, releasing the corn puffs from your body
  176. >bzzzzzz. bzzzzzzzz.
  177. >Not again.
  178. >You take your phone out of your pocket, click the silence button and flush the toilet
  179. >Just as you stand up, though, you remember you forgot to wipe
  180. >Too late now. It's all over the place.
  181. "You stupid whore! Even when I'm ignoring you, you make my life miserable!"
  182. >You take off your jeans and turn on the shower
  183. >Once you're inside and washing yourself, you hear your phone buzzing again
  184. "Sorry, Sonata. Wouldn't be able to answer even if I wanted to."
  185. >The buzzing dies off and you return to your gentle, relaxing shower
  186. >You could spend all day in there
  187. >You just let the water run down your back, enjoying the warm current on your skin
  188. >Suddenly, you see the shower curtain move
  189. >That was weird, but you return to your shower nonetheless
  190. >That's when a hand slowly starts to make its way around the shower curtain
  191. "Huh?"
  192. >"Jiiiiiim."
  193. >No. No no no no.
  194. >The figure pulls back the curtain and enters the shower
  195. >Sonata is glaring at you with burning red eyes and speaking with a deep, booming voice
  196. "WHAT THE [buy some apples!]"
  197. >"I tried to warn you, Jim, but you wouldn't answer. I WON'T BE IGNORED!"
  198. >She grabs you by the wrist
  199. >"Come on, Jim. We have so much to do today."
  200. >Whoever said cleanliness is next to godliness sure didn't factor this in [laughter to end the scene]
  201.

  203. Shopping With Aria
  204. ---
  205. >Be Jim
  206. >Writing a paper in the library while Aria sits beside you, bored out of her mind
  207. >"Hey, Jim."
  208. "No."
  209. >"So you don't want me to take my top off?"
  210. "You guessed it."
  211. >"That wasn't really what I was going to say, dillhole."
  212. "Kinda figured."
  213. >"...Let's go to the city."
  214. "Let's not."
  215. >"Or I could just take my top off now."
  216. >You close your book
  217. "Let's go."
  218. >The two of you get in your car and drive down to the city mall
  219. >Aria takes you to, of course, the jewelry shop
  220. >"What do you think of this one?"
  221. "It looks just as shiny as the last one."
  222. >"...I love you so much, Jim."
  223. "Fine! I like the necklace with the blue stone thing in it best!"
  224. >"Whatever."
  225. >Aria then goes back to the girl behind the counter, a girl with yellow skin and pink/blue hair
  226. >"Hey, can I look at the sapphire one again?"
  227. >>"Oh, suuuuure! There's nothing that I love more than helping customers! Evenifthey'vebeenhereforever."
  228. >"...What?"
  229. >>"Oh, nothing. This necklace is going to look so pretty on you! Evenifit'dlookprettieronsomeoneelse."
  230. "HEY!"
  231. >Both girls jump
  232. "I don't think we asked for the commentary. Unless you want us to get your manager involved, I'd suggest you open the case and show her the rock."
  233. >The girl timidly opens up the case until Aria interrupts her
  234. >"You know what? I'm not really interested. Let's go, Jim."
  235. >Finally, you can be done shopping
  236. >As soon as the two of you walk out the door, though, Aria wraps her arms around your neck and kisses you passionately."
  237. "Agh! Get off of me, kike!"
  238. >Aria's lips leave yours, but her arms wrap around your waist harder than ever
  239. >"Don't ever leave me, dillhole."
  240. >You sigh and return the hug
  241. >Suddenly, Sonata turns the corner
  242. "No no no no no!"
  243. >"Aaaaawwwwww! This sooo needs a photo!"
  244. >Sonata whips out her camera and takes a picture
  245. >[spoiler]To this day, it's still Aria's background picture.[/spoiler]
