I have build countries in the sand
And created castles out of thin air
I’ve walked on the sun
And went to the moon for a drink

Ripped out my heart for power
And sold my soul for love
Killed the gods in my mind
And revived them with ease

Hunted dragons in the shadows
While drinking tea with the heroes in Valhalla
Battled the monsters under my bed
With a stuffed teddy bear by my side

My hands are tired
My eyes are closing
My head is heavy
And my blood is cold

Yet I still run from ghosts
Of past and present
Of future and history
Why?
