Kanis Update 2/27/2017

Stream
- In case anyone missed it, I changed my name from Kanis999 to KanisRollsDeep. The reason behind this is I don't like having numbers in my name as it ruins the sense of uniqueness.
- idk what to stream anymore, but I want to.

Speedruns
- I got 2nd place in the Donkey Festival, which means I have been able to locate the Y button on my controller. Almost grabbed 1st but Claude's DKC3 was too strong.
- I just want to race donkey games. Playing by myself is boring.
- OoT is improving a lot behind the scenes. I'm just about 2/3rds through improving the 100% route (essentially combing through VODs of top players looking for more detail on how they play). Hess is slowly becoming more reliable, menus are waaaay more optimized, and my pause buffering is starting to require less pauses.
- I may learn super mario world on a superficial level of detail.

Misc
- I expect to hear about a raise and bonus either this week or next. Hard to believe 4 years ago I couldn't afford food and rent at the same time, car was broken, and debt was nearly 6 digits. Salary is 1.5x what it was back then. If your situation is like what mine was 4 years ago, keep the faith.
- I just started a chiropractic program that is definitely working so far. I'm hoping to soon be able to return to the two hobbies I used to prioritize over gaming, but couldn't do bc of back issues: playing guitar and bodybuilding.
