  1. PART 2
  2.
  3. >A week has passed since your… shower with Rarity.
  4. >Can’t say that things went exactly as you planned afterwards.
  5. >Things were a little shaky after you and Rarity spent the night together.
  6. >She was awfully embarrassed at how she acted.
  7. >Over and over, she apologized, swearing to never act that way again.
  8. >You learned a lot of new words that day.
  9. >Most synonymous with “uncouth.”
  10. >You reassured Rarity that you enjoyed it.
  11. >But she was beating herself up about it constantly.
  12. >You decided to slow it down before things picked up again.
  13. >You began to help her out with way more chores around the Boutique.
  14. >You even started learning your way around a sewing machine.
  15. >You did everything you could to try to ease the tension between you two.
  16. >All you wanted was for the relationship to flourish in a positive direction.
  17. >Luckily, Rarity wanted the same.
  18.
  19. >Even though Rarity was disappointed in herself, she didn’t regret saying that she loved you.
  20. >Not at all.
  21. >In fact, she managed to find you throughout the day just to whisper it in your ear:
  22. >”I love you, Anon, darling…”
  23. >Always paired with a quick peck on the cheek.
  24. >This was enough to satisfy your need to be close to her.
  25. >But you still felt like there was more to do for her.
  26. >That’s why you had asked that she take the day off.
  27. >Not an easy task, of course.
  28. >After an hour of straight disagreement, you managed to convince her that a small break was good for the creative mind.
  29. >You also kept telling her that you had a fun day planned for the two of you.
  30. >Rarity reluctantly agreed.
  31. >The problem afterwards was keeping your plans a secret.
  32. >”Anon, tell me! Tell me, tell me, tell me! You are making me close my Boutique! I demand to know what we are going to be doing so that I may dress appropriately!”
  33. >It went on for a long time before you just plain told her that she looked beautiful just the way she was.
  34. >This was warmly received, as Rarity showered you with more kisses.
  35.
  36. >Today was a perfect day.
  37. >Sun beaming overhead.
  38. >Birds chirping all around.
  39. >Freshly cut grass.
  40. >A nice gentle breeze.
  41. >Your “secret” was going to go better than expected.
  42. >You had woken up extra early to make sure everything was in order.
  43. >Before you made too much noise, you decided to head upstairs to see if Rarity was still asleep.
  44. >You silently sneak upstairs, and arrive at her door.
  45. >You quietly push the door open and peer inside.
  46. >Rarity is most certainly passed out.
  47. >She was snoring softly.
  48. >Part of you wants to just go and plop next to her.
  49. >Maybe kiss her all over.
  50. >But you mustn’t let today be ruined.
  51. >You reluctantly close the door and return to the kitchen.
  52. >Upon entering the kitchen, you hear a knock on the door.
  53. >Right on time.
  54. >You open the door quietly.
  55. >A gray mailmare with goofy looking eyes was standing there, holding a package for you in her mouth.
  56. >”Deriberry fur Anun!”
  57. >Her eyes find themselves on your lower half.
  58. >She blushes as she puts the package on the ground.
  59. >She must have forgotten it was in her mouth….
  60. >You thank her and carry the package inside.
  61. >The mailmare waves at you and flies away, almost crashing into a tree.
  62. >You quickly rip open the package, revealing a custom-made picnic basket.
  63. >Adorned with gems and ribbons, this was sure to get Rarity’s gears turning.
  64. >It came complete with a bouquet of white and violet roses.
  65. >Rarity was going to love this.
  66. >You begin to carefully place your brunch in the basket.
  67.
  68. >This brunch was going to be spectacular.
  69. >But you couldn’t have done it alone.
  70. >Who better to help you than some of Rarity’s closest friends?
  71. >Twilight Sparkle helped you prepare a bunch of fruit last night into an intricate salad.
  72. >Each piece delicately cut, diced, and layered to perfection.
  73. >She even lent you a book on how to truly enjoy picnics.
  74. >Twilight nagged you over and over again about no forgetting desert.
  75. >No picnic is complete without desert, of course.
  76.
  77. >You spent the whole night before baking with Applejack.
  78. >The two of you baked a special apple pie, with Rarity’s cutie mark in the crust.
  79. >You put in extra cinnamon, a secret favorite of Rarity’s.
  80. >Applejack had annoyingly teased you almost the entire time about it.
  81. >She honestly just didn’t understand why you were going through all the trouble of doing something nice for such an uptight mare.
  82. >She insisted that you find one who wouldn’t mind getting down and dirty once in a while.
  83. >Applejack, you don’t know the half of it.
  84. >You shrugged it off, remembering that Rarity wanted to keep your exclusivity a secret for the time being.
  85.
  86. >You pack all of the delicacies neatly into the picnic basket.
  87. >You remember to include utensils, plates, glasses….
  88. >Glasses!
  89. >You almost forgot the wine.
  90. >Not just any wine of course.
  91. >You had saved up your extra bits for weeks to afford a small bottle of Equestria’s most revered wine.
  92. >Marque d'Excellence.
  93. >Even the name burned holes in your pockets.
  94. >But only the best for you sweet Rarity.
  95. >You grab the bottle from the freezer and place it at the bottom of the basket.
  96. >After you triple check your basket, you head over to the pantry.
  97. >At the very top was hidden a present for Rarity.
  98. >You were glad no one ever looks up there.
  99. >You reach up and pull down a lush purple quilt.
  100. >You made it yourself, though your expertise with a showing machine shows.
  101. >It was quite rough, and there were crude patches of Rarity’s cutie mark stitched in random locations.
  102. >Now that you think of it… maybe you shouldn’t give this to her yet.
  103. >It needed some TLC, no doubt.
  104. >Before you could put it back, you hear footsteps heading towards the kitchen.
  105. >Crap, no time!
  106. >You toss the quilt into the basket and close it.
  107.
  108. >A loud yawn escapes from the other room.
  109. >You jump in front of the basket.
  110. >Rarity can’t see this until you are-
  111. >”Anon, darling? What are you doing?”
  112. >Rarity was giving you a small smile, her mane all frizzled.
  113. >Dammit, she is so cute.
  114. “Good morning! H-hey, why don’t you go upstairs and get ready for our day together?”
  115. >Rarity yawns again.
  116. >You know that her getting ready would buy you another hour, two hours tops.
  117. >”Of course. I just wanted to make sure you were doing… YAAAAWWNNN… fine…. I’ll be ready shortly!”
  118. >You feel the sweat begin to escape the pours on your forehead.
  119. >”Oh, and get yourself ready, too. You can’t go out looking like that, sweetie.”
  120. >You look down.
  121. >You were still in only your boxers.
  122. >….
  123. >Rarity blows you a kiss, blushing slightly.
  124. >She flips her lovely mane and heads back upstairs.
  125. >You wipe the sweat off of your brow.
  126. >Close one.
  127. >You realize why that gray mailmare was blushing earlier.
  128. >You grab the basket and put it in the fridge.
  129. >All right, no problems now.
  130. >The rest of this day will be smooth and perfect.
  131.
  132. >A remarkable 30 minutes later, Rarity is ready for your date.
  133. >You managed to get swagged out in 10 minutes, but you thought that you were going to have time to find a new blanket.
  134. >No such luck, your crude quilt will have to do.
  135. >Rarity was wearing a cute yellow sunhat with a matching scarf.
  136. >Her hair was primped and perfect, curling ever so carefully.
  137. >You never could find out how she does it….
  138. >She trots up to you, giving you a tight hug.
  139. >You quickly return the hug, holding her against your chest.
  140. >She sighs deeply.
  141. >”I’m really glad that I took the day off. I really wanted to spend time with you, Anon.”
  142. >She nuzzles your chest as your heart melts.
  143. >You lean down and kiss her on the forehead.
  144. “Well… before we can go I need you to do something.”
  145. >You rummage around in your pockets and pull out a long blue piece of fabric.
  146. “I need to keep the area we go a secret so… I’ll have to blindfold ya.”
  147. >Rarity laughs loudly.
  148. >”No way, Anon! That color is hideous! Not to mention it clashes with my scarf and…”
  149. >You give her puppy dog eyes and hold the fabric up.
  150. >Rarity groans.
  151. >”Fine! Only… only for you. I hope nop0ny sees us….”
  152. >You laugh as you tie the fabric around her eyes.
  153. >You wave your hand in front of her to check if she could see.
  154. >Nothing.
  155. “Great! Now, just trust me. I’ll hold your hoof and lead you to our romantic-“
  156. >”I trust you, darling. Don’t question that. Ever.”
  157. >She lays her hoof in your palm, missing it a few times.
  158. >Once she has it, she nuzzles it lovingly.
  159.
  160. >The trip to the spot was slightly challenging.
  161. >Rarity was extremely anxious about what you had planned.
  162. >She repeatedly questioned what was happening, what you brought with you.
  163. >It was like dealing with….
  164. >Well….
  165. >Pinkie Pie.
  166. >The thought of that makes you shudder.
  167. >You arrive at the spot safe and sound.
  168. >It was exactly as you left it a few days ago.
  169. >Secluded, quiet, and, most importantly, clean.
  170. “Alright, Rarity. We made it!”
  171. >Rarity squees happily and proceeds to untie her blindfold.
  172. >You quickly stop her.
  173. “Hold on, silly. Let me set everything up first!”
  174. >”Of course… my apologies. Calm down, Rarity…”
  175. >She takes a few deep breaths.
  176. >You take a few minutes and set up your picnic.
  177. >Purple blanket and all.
  178. >After making sure everything was perfect, you head back over to Rarity.
  179. “Ok, are you ready, Rarity?”
  180. >Rarity nods furiously, causing her hat to fall off.
  181. >”Yes, yes, yes! Show me! Show me!!”
  182. >You untie her blindfold and let her gaze upon your hard work.
  183. >Rarity’s eyes widen.
  184. >”Oh my… Anon! What is all of this?”
  185. >You feel yourself begin to sweat, your heart racing.
  186. >Before you can apologize for anything being out of whack, Rarity throws her body into yours in a tight bear hug.
  187.
  188. >Rarity scans the entire area, her eyes incredibly wide.
  189. >You had led her into a secluded part of the Everfree Forest, by a large lake.
  190. >The vegetation everywhere gave it a serene feel, and the water was incredibly gentle.
  191. >The bright sun was beaming overhead, giving the dew-covered grass a brilliant sheen.
  192. >You had set up your picnic right at the foot of the lake, surrounded by flowers that you had planted a few days ago.
  193. >You kept glancing at the picnic, and back at Rarity, trying to get a reaction out of her.
  194. >She just stood there speechless.
  195. >You gulp loudly.
  196. >Not good, Anon… not good….
  197. >You begin to apologize to Rarity, stammering badly.
  198. >Before you get too far, Rarity trots over to the picnic.
  199. >You slowly follow her.
  200. >She stares at the whole scene for a bit.
  201. >You can’t wait for a response anymore.
  202. “W-well? What do ya think, R-rarity?”
  203. >You catch Rarity rub her face and sniffle.
  204. >Good one, you made her cry, Anon.
  205. >”Anon… did you really… do all of….”
  206. >You laugh nervously.
  207. “Well, I had a bit of help. But… yeah, this is done by me, and it’s all for you.”
  208. >Rarity faces you, her face scrunched.
  209. >Her eyes, still wide, were watery.
  210. >Her face, beet red.
  211. >She giggles, before rubbing her eyes again.
  212. >”I just… I just can’t believe this, darling….”
  213. >You walk up to her, and wrap an arm around her.
  214. >She gazes into your eyes.
  215. >You’ve never felt more affectionate of her than this moment.
  216. >”This is beautiful…. All of it… Oh, Anon!”
  217. >She buries her head into your chest and begins to sob.
  218. >”I don’t deserve any of this! Why? Why are you just so… so kind to me?”
  219.
  220. >You pull her away from your chest.
  221. >Rarity’s head droops down, unable to look at you.
  222. >She was still crying quietly.
  223. “Hey… look at me.”
  224. >She slowly lifts her head up.
  225. >She sniffles, and her eyes meet yours.
  226. >You rub her face with your shirt.
  227. “Don’t cry. I did this because you mean the world to me, and so much more.”
  228. >Rarity’s face becomes a bit redder.
  229. >Her frown slowly turns into a smile.
  230. >She nuzzles your face lovingly.
  231. >”Anon, this is just too much….”
  232. >She wraps her arms around you.
  233. >”I love you! I love you so so much, darling. You are too good to me….”
  234. >You pick her up and carry her over to your picnic.
  235. >You set her down, and prepare a plate of fruit for her.
  236. >You smile the entire time as Rarity’s continues to insist that she repay you.
  237. “You can repay me by having a good time and stop asking to repay me!”
  238. >You kiss her lips gently and hand her a plate.
  239. >You grab two wine glasses and the Marque d'Excellence.
  240. >Rarity just about drops her plate when she sees what you are pouring.
  241. >”Anon! How could you possibly afford… I can’t… no, I just can’t-“
  242. >You hand her a half full glass of the chilled wine.
  243. >She takes it, although reluctantly.
  244. “Just enjoy it, Rarity. You deserve this.”
  245. >Rarity smiles at you.
  246. >You take your glass and clank it against hers.
  247. >You both take a sip of the expensive wine.
  248. >Her eyes widen.
  249. >”It’s quite delicious….”
  250. >You nod in agreement.
  251. >You take a piece of fruit off of the plate.
  252. “Why don’t you try some of this?”
  253. >”Only if you feed it to me….”
  254. >Rarity giggles and opens her mouth.
  255. >You place the fruit gently on her tongue.
  256. >Rarity closes her mouth, taking your fingers with her.
  257. >She sucks on your fingers before releasing your hand.
  258. >She gives a sly look while chewing on the fruit.
  259. >”Delicious. And the fruit isn’t half bad either…”
  260.
  261. >The two of you eat, talking merrily, and being excessively flirtly.
  262. >It’s almost as if she was holding all of this attention for you in.
  263. >You couldn’t care less.
  264. >This was amazing.
  265. >Everything.
  266. >It was completely perfect.
  267. >Though… the quilt still needed work.
  268. >Rarity was completely pleased with it.
  269. >She said it was the most comfortable blanket anyone has ever made her.
  270. >Good enough for you.
  271. >You finish the fruit off quickly, washing it down with the wine.
  272. >Rarity was absolutely smitten.
  273. >”Anon. This has been the best meal I’ve ever had…”
  274. “Good thing it’s not over yet!”
  275. >You begin to cut up the pie into small pieces.
  276. >As you are cutting, you catch Rarity eyeing you from top to bottom.
  277. >Her eyes just taking you all in.
  278. >You had never seen her like this.
  279. >She was so attentive and affectionate.
  280. >You can’t imagine being without her anymore.
  281. >It was too difficult to process, too unreal.
  282. >You knew that she was here to stay.
  283. >And you were as well.
  284.
  285. >You feed Rarity a piece of the pie.
  286. >She closes her eyes and moans softly as she swallows it.
  287. >”This is the best pie I’ve ever had. Quite frankly, I don’t want pie anymore unless you make it, dear.”
  288. >You laugh, reminding her that your culinary skills were greatly exaggerated.
  289. >Rarity shakes her head.
  290. >”Anon… can I ask you something?”
  291. >You nod as you finish your slice of pie.
  292. >Rarity slowly stands up and begins to push the dishes to the side.
  293. >You eye her cautiously.
  294. >She didn’t have THAT much wine.
  295. >You wipe off your mouth and push your plate over.
  296. >Rarity falls on top of you, her lips going straight for yours.
  297. >She gently nibbles on your bottom lip.
  298. >You playfully respond with your tongue in her mouth.
  299. >She holds you down, kissing you more and more passionately.
  300. >You run your fingers through her mane, eliciting a pleasant moan from your white beauty.
  301. >She pulls her lips away from you, a trail of saliva following her.
  302. >”I forgot what I was going to ask you…”
  303. >You laugh and play with her hair.
  304. >Rarity looks at you endearingly.
  305. “Whenever you remember, just ask me. I’m all ears.”
  306. >Rarity nuzzles your face.
  307. >”Ooh! I have a good question…”
  308. “Let me have it.”
  309.
  310. >She rolls off of you, lying by your side.
  311. >”Would you like to take a nap?”
  312. >You nod and kiss her forehead.
  313. >Rarity rolls over, her rear perking up slightly.
  314. >You instinctively turn on your side, holding her from behind.
  315. >She pushes her body into yours.
  316. >Her flank rubbing all over your.
  317. >You sigh deeply.
  318. >Too perfect.
  319. >”Oh, Anon, dear? One more thing.”
  320. >You nibble her ear.
  321. “What is it?”
  322. >She magically moves your hand around her stomach.
  323. >You hold her gently, causing her to sigh.
  324. >”Promise me that you’ll always keep me safe.”
  325. >You kiss her once more one her neck.
  326. “Of course. Don’t even worry about that for a second.”
  327. >You kiss her one last time.
  328. >Rarity giggles happily as you hold her closely.
  329. >”I love you, Anon. I love you so much.”
  330. >After a few minutes, you hear her snore softly.
  331. >Her stomach rises up and down slowly.
  332. >Her body feels so relaxed.
  333. >Once you were sure that your queen was safe and sound, you closed your eyes.
  334. >The gentle breezes carry you off into a peaceful sleep, with your Rarity close by.
  335. >You couldn’t ask for anything better.
  336.
