DUST !!!

I am building mine IN Goodsprings since DUST radically changes the town you normally start in. Plan to use barricades and walls in between each building with gates on the East and South side of town. Will place the different pieces of the defense system in between buildings essentially making them walls lol. My plan is to start just to the left of the Saloon and then build from there by building from Chets store to the house to the left, then down to Doc's house, the abandoned house and then the school, come over to Victors shack and over to Sunny's / Trudy's house with a gated wall then back up to the saloon, so with the exception of a few abandoned houses, practically the entire town. Might include the gas station and make the player home on the gas station roof lol

Can even use the tower in the middle of town as a sniping lookout tower kind of thing
