The "flat Earth" meme has encouraged the intellectually vulnerable to commit the "fallacy of the conspiracy theorist", whereby it is concluded that the Earth _must_ be flat _because_ there are no satisfying images of a round Earth. _"If it were round, there'd be an abundance of clear pictures!"_

When it is pointed out that it is very difficult to make a fake image appear real, but very easy to make a real image appear fake, a valuable insight into the lie system's presentation protocol whizzes over each dummy's head - not unlike the alleged "ISS". One thing I have learned not to underestimate around here is the power of _belief bias_ when it comes to open-minded folk desiring a "grand conspiracy", and _needing_ an easy victory over it.
