  1. April 22nd, 2013: Beta 2
  2. - Fixed some minor bugs pertaining to text, tiles on the overworld, and the sort.
  3. - Opened up Route 3 to the player, allowing them to travel to Mt. Moon and onward.
  4. - Fixed an issue involving Evolutionary Stones not being able to be used
  5. - Added NPC houses to Pallet Town, Viridian City, and Pewter City.
  6. - Added the items within Viridian Forest.
  7. - Tinkered with the trainers and encounters on Route 1. Should be bit easier now than it was.
  8. - Added the Burn Heal to Viridian City Mart.
  9. - Added the Antidote, Awakening, Burn Heal, Parlyz Heal, Escape Rope, and Repel to the Pewter City Mart.
  10. - Changed the music within Pokemon Centers.
  11. - Fixed some music issues with inconsistent sound quality.
  12. * Not all songs have been fixed yet. Some are still forthcoming. Expect more music changes in later releases.
  13. - Minor modification to the Pickup Table. You should no longer be able to pick up Sun Stones, Moon Stones, or Heart Scales.
  14. - Added the ability to give the watering pail to the player. It's in Viridian City, with the person standing in a small garden of flowers.
  15. - Minor alterations to Viridian City's layout. Should be marginally easier to traverse.
  16. - Fixed some issues with the Town Map not showing the correct location of where you are.
  17. - After much blood, sweat, and tears, the gender icons now show up as Yin and Yang Halves, much like they do in 1.8 proper.
  18. - The route north of Viridian City, Route 2, has had some minor altering done to it. If you are currently saved on Route 2, please move off of it so you aren't stuck on something that may have changed.
  19. - Pewter Museum's NPCs will not show up unless you start a new game. I highly suggest starting a new one.
  20. - Various text strings have been changed to show Species-Neutrality.
  21. * I'm not sure if I missed any. If I did, please send me a message at one of the contact links below.
  22. - Silently added the Jukebox to the player inventory at game start. The Jukebox can play all the songs in the game.
  23. * NOTE ABOUT THE JUKEBOX: It will override all other music in the game while it is playing. To disable, go back to the jukebox and press "(Default)".

  25. - Gave places with Automatic Doors a proper Sound Effect.
  26. - Changed the icon that the game uses on the taskbar and the launcher.
  27. - Minor changes to Pallet Town
  28. - Placed a demo-ending roadblock at Rock Tunnel and all currently accessible ways into Saffron City.
  29. * You are not allowed to advance into Rock Tunnel, Saffron City, Celadon City, or Lavender Town in this release.

  32. - A NEW GAME WILL NEED TO BE STARTED DUE TO A SMALL CHANGE MADE IN HOW THE GAME HANDLES SOMETHING IN THE INTRODUCTION. IF YOU DO NOT START A NEW GAME, A LATER EVENT WILL NOT WORK.
  33. - SOME EVENTS WERE CHANGED IN DEMO 3 WHICH REQUIRE A NEW GAME TO BE STARTED. IF YOU DON'T LISTEN NOW YOUR GAME WILL BE FUCKED UP.

  39. - A language pack system was introduced, where players can swap between preset languages. However, the only language present it "Derxwna's Original Script" and "Kaena's Revised Script". Please use Kaena's Revised Script as it corrects all typographical errors and grammatical inconsistencies. (3/21/2014)
  40. - At the request of numerous people, the Red battle now gives out EXP if you beat him. This change was made on 5/12/2013.
  41. - Changed the Red overworld sprite to be a different one. Source unknown, was provided with the old Essentials kit. (5/16/2013)
  42. - Changed some puppets, according to the Touhoumon Emerald change list (5/16/2013):
  43. * Chibi Daiyousei now carries Camouflage at a 5% rate instead of Sitrus Berry
  44. * Mystia line now carries Stewardess at a 5% rate instead of Chesto/Petaya Berries
  45. * TSanae now naturally learns Giga Drain instead of Mega Drain
  46. * Gengetsu now gives Speed EVs instead of Special Defense EVs
  47. * The Iku line is now able to learn Surf.
  48. * Yuugenmagan now has a new ability; Levitate. Replaces Keen Eye.
  49. * TSakuya now learns Luster Purge by Tutor.
  50. * The Yoshika line is now has Gatekeeper as an ability. This replaces Guard Armour.
  51. * The Seiga line is now Dark/Faith instead of Dark/Reason. Additional changes include:
  52. + Chibi: SDEF+5
  53. + Evo: ATK-5, SDEF+10
  54. + Learns Extrasensory instead of Mana Burst at level 53
  55. + Learns Silver Wind instead of Luster Purge by breeding
  56. * Tojiko no longer learns Aeroblast.
  57. * Futo line now has Torrent instead of Inner Focus.
  58. * Miko line gained Limber as an Alternate Ability.
  59. - Updated the engine to Pokemon Essentials v12.2. Any bugs that were present in Pokemon Essentials before that are fixed in this build. (10/9/2013)
  60. - Added a way to change the control scheme ingame. (10/9/2013)
  61. - Unown cries were given to a majority of the Touhoumon, to make evolutions work. Otherwise it would crash the game if it evolved into something without a cry. (10/10/2013)

  76. * This is more than likely the last new puppet that will be added from games post 13.
  77. * There will be a Level 5 Chibi Kokoro Mystery Gift up until the full release of Kanto. get it while you can! (11/20/2013)
  78. - Added a Hiker to the Route 10 Pokemon Center. The Hiker gives you Flash, so you can use it to illuminate cave systems. (11/22/2013)
  79. * No, Flash will not act like a Repel Replacement like it does in Generation 6. (At least, I don't intend to make it that way.)
  80. - Items were added to Demo 2 locations. NPCs were added to the Power Plant and the Vermilion City Houses. (10/10/2013 - 11/25/2013)

  83. - JP was silly and didn't give Flamethrower to Speed Utsuho in her learnpool. I rectified this. SUtsuho now learns Flamethrower at 45. (3/11/2014)
  84. - Added another Type Chart rendition to the folder. This should make it easier to understand how 1.8 types work, for those who are unaware (3/21/2014)

  87. - Demo ends at Fuchsia City, just after getting the Mini Teleporter from Bill. The gatehouse to Sea Route 19 is blocked off.

  90. - Fixed a bug where if you entered Double Battle grass with only one puppet, it would crash the game.
  91. - Blocked off the Fossil Restoration Elevator in Silph Co.
  92. - Stairs in Pewter Museum fixed so you can't walk on walls.
  93. - Walls in Red's House fixed so you can no longer walk on them.

  96. - Added grass to the western side of Route 3, so you can work off wilds a little quicker. (3/31/2014)

  103. - The Pokedex now shows elaborate detail on Pokemon and Puppets. For players who have a saved game already, as soon as you reach Cinnabar Island it will automatically activate the Advanced mode, silently. (4/3/2014)
  104. - Changed the maximum storage box count to 48 (4/3/2014)
  105. - Maximum cash was increased to 999,999,999 (4/3/2014)
  106. - Selene's gym battle event got screwed up due to a change I made. It is fixed now. (4/9/2014)
  107. - Touhoumon Faith & Prayer Version now supports Multiple Save Files. To create a new save file, select new game and it will automatically save to one of three new open slots. (4/14/2014)

  114. * Forgive the crackling in the song, it was like that in Golden Sun, I couldn't do much about it.
  115. - Several sprites have been changed (Red, Janine, Teacher, School Kid), credit for these sprites goes to MrAPT1 (7/5/2014)
  116. - Several songs have been changed with newer versions. The following songs have been changed (7/8+/2014) :

  121. * Kanto Generic Trainer Theme
  122. * As time progresses, more songs may see changes with newer counterparts. Sound modification is still underway, changes are not final and still need tweaking.
  123. - Bicycle Music and Surf Music no longer play on transition/reloading of games, similar to standard Pokemon games
  124. - Made it so you can also exit Diglett's Cave near Viridian City so you don't have to go through the forest again. (7/14/2014)
  125. - Made it so the splash screen played its theme again, and made it so the two background images cycle again. (8/16/2014)
  126. - Due to an oversight, Janine gave out the Volcano Badge upon beating her. This has been rectified. (8/26/2014)
  127. * IF you beat her already, upon reaching Cinnabar Island, the game will autocorrect itself, and switch out the Volcano Badge for the Soul Badge.

  137. * Misc Routes: Bell of Avici ~ Infinite Nightmare
  138. * Pokemon League Routes: Septette for the Dead Princess
  139. * Route 26 and 27 are a special case, and use the Route 26 Theme.

  163. - Demo ends at New Bark Town, just after speaking to Elm in his lab. The path to Route 29 is blocked off until Demo 6.
