  1. Question to discuss:
  2. How are you, strangers?
  3.
  4. You: Indeterminable.
  5.
  6. You: Constantly changing, but in a good way.
  7.
  8. Stranger: Vague
  9.
  10. You: Mostly bored.
  11.
  12. You: Vague, yes.
  13.
  14. Stranger: Sarcastic
  15.
  16. You: Depends.
  17.
  18. You: Oh, you mean you.
  19.
  20. You: heh.
  21.
  22. Stranger: Yes i mean me. No one understands my sarcasm
  23.
  24. Stranger: Indifferent
  25.
  26. You: But, that wasn't sarcasm. Except that one line. Or all of those lines if you intended it from the start... and that.
  27.
  28. You: I suppose it was all sarcasm.
  29.
  30. Stranger: I was just saying in general no one understands my sarcasm. This wasn't all sarcasm
  31.
  32. You: Oh.
  33.
  34. You: Well, text is confusing.
  35.
  36. Stranger: Sarcasm?
  37.
  38. You: See, I can't tell whether to expand on what I mean, or if -that- was sarcasm.
  39.
  40. Stranger: Don't know why i said that....
  41.
  42. You: That was sar-
  43.
  44. You: Eh.
  45.
  46. Stranger: The person who asked the question must be pulling his hair out right about now
  47.
  48. Stranger: So..................vague, indeterminable............we are amoebae
  49.
  50. You: Oh, don't get me started on Philosophy. I never stop.
  51.
  52. You: Or do I? What is time, besides a human construct?
  53.
  54. Stranger: Time............is what we are wasting.......
  55.
  56. You: But, if I had infinite time to waste, is it waste?
  57.
  58. Stranger: Oh who cares
  59.
  60. You: Suppose I could 'live' until 'time' ended. When it does end, how will I tell? The last moment of my mind will never know time ended, thus it will forever in that frozen state consider time as still going.
  61.
  62. You: Or maybe nothing at all.
  63.
  64. Stranger: No...I think before your last moment, you realize that it's your last moment
  65.
  66. You: But I'd have to be aware of that. Aware of all the workings of the universe, at least, because right now I can't tell 4 pm from 6 am. Are you suggesting that in that 'time' elapsed I have transcended human thought?
  67.
  68. You: Or at least aware of time away from a 1st person view.
  69.
  70. You: Consensus reality, right?
  71.
  72. You: Or am I wrong?
  73.
  74. You: Does consensus reality not occur, does Idealism fall short in some cases?
  75.
  76. You: I could be skipping through a park, not knowing when time will suddenly stop.
  77.
  78. You: And in that moment I could be thinking about the sky.
  79.
  80. Stranger: Don't we all transcend human thought and thus time when we dream...Time is indefinite in dreams isn't it?
  81.
  82. You: It is.
  83.
  84. You: Or, maybe we create realities when we dream, so that in that reality, it will never decay.
  85.
  86. You: Thus, time is irrelevant.
  87.
  88. You: And may only stand to allow things to 'move'.
  89.
  90. Stranger: So we can waste it!
  91.
  92. You: Maybe this is a dream I can't escape from.
  93.
  94. You: Hmm.
  95.
  96. Stranger: Yeah.....but no....if it was a dream you wouldn't know it was a dream right?
  97.
  98. You: Then what of lucid dreaming?
  99.
  100. You: I can't tell.
  101.
  102. You: I'm also unsure...
  103.
  104. You: If I were to wake up.
  105.
  106. You: What I'd face. Do I want to face it?
  107.
  108. You: Or be here?
  109.
  110. You: How many times have I dreamed about dreaming?
  111.
  112. You: What is the fundamental concept of existence in it's entirety? Where does it begin, as it exists?
  113.
  114. You: Does it matter before it becomes this?
  115.
  116. You: Or is this not a linear concept and all that encompass this Event Horizon just, 'it'?
  117.
  118. You: The nest within the burrow?
  119.
  120. Stranger: It's likely that your supposedly real life would be very similar to your current supposedly dreamt life.....which is why you don't actually realize that you're dreaming and it still feels like reality...
  121.
  122. Stranger: Since time is irrelevant, it doesn't matter how many times you've dreamt about dreaming
  123.
  124. You: But what of my ego? Superego?
  125.
  126. You: They seek some sort of concrete answer.
  127.
  128. You: Why?
  129.
  130. Stranger: What about it?
  131.
  132. You: If there is no answer, then it follows that I am nothing more than a process.
  133.
  134. You: Why do I exist? Dream, within dreams or the total sum of entities which identify as 'me'?
  135.
  136. You: If there is nothing to be told about as to why Red is Red and Blue is Blue here, but Red is Green and Blue is Yellow somewhere else a few levels above this realm that does come forth to this entity known as 'me', then I shouldn't regard anything differently.
  137.
  138. You: Then I shouldn't question it, as there's nothing to gain.
  139.
  140. You: No insight. I just exist, part of the whole that keeps the whole stable.
  141.
  142. You: No further implementation.
  143.
  144. Stranger: Of course there is an answer....just because we haven't found it, doesn't mean it's not there. In fact, even if there was no answer you could never prove its non-existence, because it's "unlnown"
  145.
  146. Stranger: *unknown
  147.
  148. You: But .-.
  149.
  150. You: Okay wait, you supposed that 'since time [can be said to be] irrelevant' supposing that in this state as a whole, the entirety of existence is unlimited and 'perhaps a dream', that it does not matter which iteration 'I' am.
  151.
  152. You: But for each iteration...
  153.
  154. You: If there is an answer, then why seek if it doesn't matter that I could be the first or last dreamer?
  155.
  156. You: I would already know and not need to know.
  157.
  158. You: I would have no other purpose, if that (knowing why I am in a dream) was the purpose.
  159.
  160. You: Besides something I don't know being the purpose of my being, like why the 'ultimate dreamer' exists.
  161.
  162. You: The 'ultimate dreamer' would need to cast everything. The 'penultimate dreamer' would need to live in that first set of fundamental laws brought upon him, or her, or it. Then it would cascade as it progressed. Something as simple as a picture may manifest though the levels as a planet.
  163.
  164. You: Maybe something even more alien.
  165.
  166. You: An entire plane of sound.
  167.
  168. You: Basically, the dreamer that started all this inception would know all, already, and be the true primary me in terms of considering whether or not he was 'real'. Anything else asking that question and also claiming to be 'me' is just a copy. Perhaps the copy of a copy.
  169.
  170. You: Think about it. When all who are dream-inhabitants 'wake up'...
  171.
  172. You: They all become the ultimate dreamer.
  173.
  174. You: There's no need to know 'why', I'd already know when 'why' mattered (when -I- woke up and became part of reality as a conscious entity again). Time is limitless to an iteration of myself as well, their lives do not matter in comparison to the ultimate dreamer, and if they are aware that they are a dream then it only matters to them -if- they care about their state of being within the dream. Their death could mean the previous iteration wakes up, or it could mean limbo. They could come to harm but never perish relative to their entity and the entity creating them. They could fly.
  175.
  176. You: So that iteration doesn't need to worry, reality doesn't need to be a critical problem until the 'ultimate dreamer' wakes up.
  177.
  178. Stranger: And when he wakes up, he already knows?
  179.
  180. You: Yes.
  181.
  182. You: At least, he knows why the rest exist.
  183.
  184. You: He may not know about himself, but it could follow that the rest may have extrapolated why they themselves exist, and based on the fact that there could be endless iterations, one could be right about the existence of the entity they think to be themselves (but is really the 'ultimate dreamer'). One iteration could dream about being the 'ultimate dreamer', with every single detail identical save for the fact that this 'ultimate dreamer' is not the true 'ultimate dreamer', but an iteration.
  185.
  186. You: Even that 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the sum total.
  187.
  188. You: Could they assimilate thoughts as they wake up? If they can't, then it really -doesn't- matter that the rest exist. They are not ultimately bound to morals or rules, good or bad relative to the 'ultimate dreamer' and his reality.
  189.
  190. Stranger: You do know that this means we are dreaming right now....since we don't know
  191.
  192. You: I could be wrong.
  193.
  194. You: We could be a tree.
