  4. Drain 1 AP – Extended Action
  5. Effect: Soldiers gain the ability to train themselves to hone their skills. After 1 hour of training themselves, a Soldier may choose a Stat besides HP; that Stat becomes Trained until an Extended Rest is taken. The default State of Trained Stats is +1 Combat Stages instead of 0. A Soldier may have only one Trained Stat at a time.

  12. Effect: Each Rank of Maneuver Training, gain one of the Combat Paradigms below. When you use the Soldier Feature, you may choose a Combat Paradigm you know and apply its effects to you until the end of your next Extended Rest. You may only be under the effect of one Combat Paradigm at a time.

  14. Brutal Paradigm: You increase the Critical-Hit and Effect Range of all attacks by +1. You may spend 1 AP as a Free Action when you or your Pokémon with the Teamwork or Discipline Abilities hit with a Combat Maneuver to have the user of the Combat Maneuver deal damage as if they had hit the target with a Struggle Attack, in addition to any effects from the maneuver. This may only be triggered once per use of a Combat Maneuver.

  16. Inspired Paradigm: You gain a +1 Bonus to Evasion and +2 to Save Checks. You may spend 1 AP as a Free Action when you or your Pokémon with the Teamwork or Discipline Abilities hit with a Combat Maneuver to give a single ally a +2 Bonus to all of their rolls against the target of your Combat Maneuver taken on their next turn. This may only be triggered once per use of a Combat Maneuver.

  18. Focused Paradigm: You gain a +1 Bonus to Accuracy Rolls and +2 to Skill Checks. You may spend 1 AP as a Free Action when you or your Pokémon with the Teamwork or Discipline Abilities use a Combat Maneuver to grant a +2 Bonus to the Accuracy Roll and any Skill Checks to perform the Combat Maneuver. This may only be triggered once per use of a Combat Maneuver.

  24. Effect: You can perform the following additional Combat Maneuvers. You must know the required Combat Paradigms in order to use each Combat Maneuver.

  27. Prerequisite: Brutal Paradigm
  28. Effect: You strike the target's arm or other attacking appendage or body part. The target loses 1 Combat Stage in Attack or Special Attack, and their next damaging attack suffers a -2 penalty to its Accuracy Roll and a -X penalty to its Damage Roll, where X is equal to your Athletics or Combat Rank.

  31. Prerequisite: Inspired Paradigm
  32. Effect: Your attack opens your target's guard and makes them more vulnerable to further damage. The target loses 1 Combat Stage in Defense or Special Defense, and they lose all Temporary Hit Points, suffer a -2 penalty to the next Save Check they perform, and lose X points of armor or other Damage Reduction until the end of your next turn, where X is equal to your Athletics or Combat Rank.

  35. Prerequisite: Focused Paradigm
  36. Effect: You aim for your target's legs or other means of locomotion, slowing them down. The target loses 1 Combat Stage in Speed, and they suffer a -2 penalty to Evasion and a -X penalty to all Movement Capabilities until the end of your next turn. X is equal to half your Athletics or Combat Rank. This may not reduce a Movement Capability to less than 1.

  38. Note: When a target is hit with multiple instances of Called Shot, only the lowered Combat Stage effects stack. Each secondary temporary effect can only be applied once at a time. For example, two Soldiers may not stack Crippling Blow to reduce a target's next Damage Roll twice or to give the Accuracy Roll for that attack a -4 penalty. However, a higher penalty may replace a lower one. For example, one Soldier may apply Crippling Blow to a target with an Expert Rank in Athletics, lowering the target's next Damage Roll by -5. A second Soldier applies Crippling Blow to the same target with a Master Rank in Combat, which then replaces the -5 penalty with a -6 one. Once one of the temporary effects has worn off or been triggered, then that same effect may once again be applied to the target.

  44. Effect: You gain the Teamwork or Discipline Ability.

  49. At-Will – Extended Action
  50. Target: Your Pokémon with at least 2 Tutor Points.
  51. Effect: The Target Pokémon loses 2 Tutor Points, and gains your choice of the Teamwork or Discipline Abilities. You may target a Pokémon with PokéSoldier only one time.

  53. Enhanced Training

  55. Prerequisites: Combat Paradigm Rank 2, Master Athletics or Combat
  56. At-Will – Free Action
  57. Trigger: You use Soldier to give yourself Trained Stats
  58. Effect: You may give yourself two Trained Stats instead of one, and if you activate Combat Paradigm, you may apply two Combat Paradigms to yourself instead of one.
