  1. On a cold night in February, three intoxicated harpies are flying around the outskirts of the city. One yells out "Hey, watsh this!" as she dives down into a power substation, weaving in and out of the power lines. She makes it through to the other side and giggles, "It tingles!" The second one follows suit flying through even faster. "Beat that!" The third looks at the other two with an uncertain look on her face. "C'mon chickenshit, we did it!" "Yeah, why do you always chicken out?" "Bawk Bawk!" The third harpy yells "I'm not a fucking chicken!" as she dives in. She barely makes it past a couple lines before clipping one. Now tumbling through the station at breakneck speed, she starts hitting line after line, each one breaking with a shower of sparks. The broken lines start grounding out and transformers begin to explode with bright flashes of light accompanied by loud booms. The 2 harpies take off as fast as their wings can take them while the third was still laying on the ground recovering, her ears ringing and the feathers on her wings smoldering. She curses herself for pulling such a stupid stunt as she stands back up and looks to the sky, preparing to fly off before she gets caught. The last thing she ever sees is the end of a broken power line coming down and hitting her right between the eyes.

  3. Not far away, a Lamia and her husband have just gone to asleep, completely unaware that not only their entire block, but half the city has gone completely dark. Soon the all the electric heaters go cold, and the temperature slowly begins to drop. The first few hours are completely normal as the Lamia is kept warm by coiling around her husband and he is kept warm under a thick weresheep blanket, but the blanket can only do so much. Before long the Lamia begins to cling tighter to her husband for warmth, until her husband starts getting uncomfortable. Soon the discomfort is more than he can bare and he wakes up. He groggily tries to wiggle out of his wife's embrace to turn up the heat, but this just causes her to coil even tighter around him. With discomfort turning into pain, he is fully alert now and tries to wake his wife by calling out to her. Unfortunately for him, the cold has sent her into a deep sleep. Starting to panic, he begins to thrash around and begins to shout to her. Still asleep she tightens up even more, not wanting to let the precious heat source get away. Now the unfortunate man can hardly even move, and now it is getting very difficult to breathe. As his vision fades, his life begins to flash before his eyes. He begins to cry, not for himself, but for his poor wife who will wake up to his corpse and will have to live with the fact she killed her own husband. As his consciousness fades and he drifts off to his final sleep, the only think he wants to do is to tell his wife he loves her and it's not her fault.

  5. The next morning, police have finally exhumed the body of the harpy and crews where able to start repairs on the substation. A few hours later power was finally restored. Not long afterwards screams and crying could be heard coming from homes across the city as several cold blooded girls woke up to find their worst nightmares come true.
