  1. Views on Quora is a optional feature that shares your views on questions, answers and posts that you see based on the people and topics you follow. Views help writers get more feedback about the reach their content gets on Quora, and they surface to you to help you more quickly discover what's trending. Any individual view can be deleted or the whole feature can be turned off on your settings page (www.quora.com/settings).

(All the topics and people someone follows is publicly available on their profile.)
  5. When you've already taken a public action on a question, e.g. you added a question or answer, or you voted on a question. This view includes an explanation, viewed "Via the question."
  6. When you click through questions in Quora's weekly digest email. This view includes "Via Weekly Digest Email."
