  1. [19:30:18] Mad_Modd when we had last left our group they had just finished cleaning up there mess, catching and killing the robo-spider and the new one. The old dorm building groaning ominously...
  2. [19:32:33] Sammy Sammy sits just outside by Redmend after being patched up a bit, ”Well that was a nasty bug nest.”
  3. [19:34:05] Gaige looks around her and up at the building tapping her robotic hoof on the floor, out of time with her thoughts... Time for a tuneup! she finds where the group is and starts to tinker with her hoof
  4. [19:34:50] Lucky_Wrench slowly edges towards the exit, "Maybe it's best we get going...?"
  5. [19:38:05] Arty_Shortfeather packs the robots away "Yeah, we better get outta here."
  6. [19:39:51] Mad_Modd as the group makes there way outside and meets back up, they are greeted by a */VERY/* cross and quite familiar looking stallion. And about five of his heavily armed friends. "Somehow I knew it was you fuckers. Now. EXPLAIN!"
  7. [19:41:13] Gaige blinks and steps forward but as she did not finish calibrating her hoof that just ends with her falling onto her face with a high pitched scream
  8. [19:41:53] Sammy raises a hoof, ”Can I give the explanation a try? something tells me my associates aren't very good with ponies.”
  9. [19:43:00] Lucky_Wrench smiles at the guards nervously, "My, what big guns you have..."
  10. [19:43:10] Gaige rubs her muzzle "hay I'm great with ponies..." she goes cross eyed and shakes her head
  11. [19:43:29] Arty_Shortfeather grapples Gaige and holds her muzzle shut
  12. [19:44:14] Mad_Modd and almost as if on cue the building lets out a load creak and simple collapses in on it's self...
  13. [19:44:42] Gaige squeaks and wiggles Arty's claws pinching a painful bruise as her eyes water in pain
  14. [19:45:19] Arty_Shortfeather grappled Gaige gently
  15. [19:45:47] Sammy points a wing at the now-collapsed building, ”That was going to fall down anyway. look, that spider-thing we'd brought that we thought was dead, well... wasn't. but we've definitely killed it now.”
  16. [19:46:50] Gaige leans forward and gets a few words out "I sa-" she squeaks as Arty still holds her muzzle closed
  17. [19:47:35] Mad_Modd he glares at Sammy "What spider-thing? You better not be lying boy! I'm this close to having you all shot and thrown out." his eye twitching in anger
  18. [19:47:53] Gaige puts her hoof up like she was back in school
  19. [19:47:59] Arty_Shortfeather "I have them in my backpack. Sammy, if you'd be so kind..."
  20. [19:48:34] Lucky_Wrench says hopefully, "Would you consider just letting us out and never returning? Pleeease?"
  21. [19:48:51] Sammy nods, pulling one robot-spider from Arty_Shortfeather's pack onto the ground
  22. [19:50:14] Mad_Modd the group all take a step back and gasp as one "Where did you get that!? We've been trying to catch one intact for years! And you chuckle fucks just stumble in with one?"
  23. [19:51:02] Arty_Shortfeather shrugs "We ran into a swarm of them. One landed in our carriage."
  24. [19:51:02] Sammy facehooves, ”So they had the tact to somehow piss you off, but not mention the /reason/ we came to this town?!” he glares at Gaige
  25. [19:51:18] Gaige jabs Arty in the side with her steel hoof
  26. [19:51:54] Mad_Modd "It mite of gone better if they had told us about this instead of insulting the SIZE OF MY COCK!"
  27. [19:53:08] Sammy stares at the stallion, then gives the rest of the group a 'really?' face, ”They did what.”
  28. [19:53:10] Arty_Shortfeather groans and lets Gaige go "Ow!"
  29. [19:53:21] Lucky_Wrench points at Arty_Shortfeather and Gaige, "They did it."
  30. [19:53:38] Arty_Shortfeather points at Gaige while holding her side "She did it"
  31. [19:53:54] Gaige looks up "i never Insulted you, and i SAID before we landed that robot was still working! AND SHE DID IT!" she points a hoof at Arty
  32. [19:55:52] Mad_Modd "CHILDREN!! I think we have something else to talk about. First why were you in that building? It's been condemned since before the bombs fell."
  33. [19:56:15] Arty_Shortfeather "Because the... because reasons."
  34. [19:56:26] Sammy sits, ”The spider got away, and hid in the building. we followed.”
  35. [19:56:44] Gaige nods "the robot" she looks at sammy "what he said we killed it"
  36. [19:57:21] Mad_Modd "And how did it get away in the first place?"
  37. [19:58:56] Gaige shrugs "told them it still worked, as leader i thought they would deal with it, you understand how hard it is to get good help these days?"
  38. [19:59:02] Lucky_Wrench points at Gaige, "She said it was dead but it wasn't."
  39. [19:59:07] Sammy ”it faked being dead, and I passed out, also my associates didn't think it'd be faking.
  40. [19:59:36] Gaige facehooves... then winces, note to self, dont facehoof with steel hooves
  41. [20:01:09] Mad_Modd he raises an eyebrow "Wait... you're telling me the crazy one is in charge? Are you all mad?"
  42. [20:01:40] Sammy shakes his head, ”nope, just desperate.”
  43. [20:01:53] Arty_Shortfeather throws her arms up "We didn't choose her, she got assigned."
  44. [20:02:17] Gaige looks up "HAY i am NOT crazy!" she pulls open her leg and pulls out a bunch of wires with her teeth sparks near her fac
  45. [20:02:20] Gaige face
  46. [20:02:30] Mad_Modd "And what mad pony 'assigned' her?"
  47. [20:02:40] Arty_Shortfeather "I have no idea."
  48. [20:04:42] Gaige shrugs "i am just well qualified, my CV is amazing!"
  49. [20:05:17] Sammy sighs, ”just signed up to get as far north as I could. leadership never was something I worried about.” he stares at Gaige, ”Your what?”
  50. [20:05:47] Arty_Shortfeather "I just had to go somehwere else than home Somewhere far far away."
  51. [20:06:29] Gaige points to her hoof "built this with three hooves and like only two pints of blood lost" she looks at Sammy "you know, a list of things you can do that you show people, you mostly lie on it but you have to put a bit of truth in it"
  52. [20:07:40] Mad_Modd rolling his eyes "I'm sure it's a long and very deep story.... But I don't care. Lets get those things over to the Doc."
  53. [20:08:08] Arty_Shortfeather points to her rifle "Singlehandedly stole that from one of the biggest PMC in Equestria and got away with it."
  54. [20:09:13] Mad_Modd "What's a hand?"
  55. [20:09:13] Lucky_Wrench breathes a sigh of relief, "Can we go then?"
  56. [20:09:14] Sammy shifts the robot-spider, walking up to the stallion, ”Alright.” he then whispers to him, ”Hey, if I'd been awake, I'd have kicked the mare who said that to ya.”
  57. [20:09:22] Gaige gets to her hooves and stretches out closing her hoof that somehow works fine now and smiles "come peons, we have to meet with this 'doc'"
  58. [20:10:07] Arty_Shortfeather "Yeah, I could use a doctor."
  59. [20:10:13] Mad_Modd "You coming onto me boy?"
  60. [20:10:58] Sammy blinks, ”Wha? no, sir, I just think that's a very low insult.”
  61. [20:11:35] Gaige prances about her head held high as she follows the party where she needs to go
  62. [20:12:42] Mad_Modd "I don't are which way your barn door swings. Now you lot follow and don't cause no trouble. I'm still pissed at you." trotting towards one of the larger buildings, the guards flanking the group
  63. [20:14:02] Arty_Shortfeather follows obidiently
  64. [20:16:59] Lucky_Wrench laughs nervously, "Sure thing... please don't kill me."
  65. [20:24:07] Mad_Modd the group is lead to the basement of the building, it looks to have once been a school. In the main room there are large tables scattered about, old lab equipment and maps scattered about. There is know sign of the 'Doc'
  66. [20:24:28] Mad_Modd "Crazy must of wandered off..."
  67. [20:24:58] Gaige looks around and sits on one of the tables
  68. [20:25:02] Sammy blinks, ”You have a crazypony, but complain about ours?”
  69. [20:25:17] Arty_Shortfeather looks at some of the maps "Do you have a ap of the region we could have borrow buy?"

  71. [20:26:16] Mad_Modd he snorts "Ours don't go around insulting the size of my stallionhood and keeps to herself mostly"
  72. [20:27:31] Gaige grabs something and tosses it at sammy "i never said anything, you are just oversensitive"
  73. [20:29:02] Lucky_Wrench continues to looks awkward.
  74. [20:29:44] Arty_Shortfeather snuggles up to Lucky_Wrench. "Something up?"
  75. [20:29:58] Mad_Modd "You're not helping your case crazy filly"
  76. [20:30:37] Arty_Shortfeather shakes her head "We need to buy rope."
  77. [20:30:50] Lucky_Wrench smiles and moves her head side to side, "You know, nothing much... just hoping we're not taken somewhere and shot."
  78. [20:31:30] Mad_Modd "I'd recommend it for the crazy one..... and where the hell is the Doc?" trotting into one of the side rooms, looking for her
  79. [20:32:11] Sammy sits nearby, ”Should put bells pn her. not saying which crazy I'm talking about.”
  80. [20:32:36] Arty_Shortfeather "All of them, Sammy."
  81. [20:32:41] Gaige rolls her eyes "why do i bother, the world does not deserve my genius"
  82. [20:37:52] Mad_Modd a short time later a yellow mare with a blue mane come out of a different side and freezes upon seeing her visitors "Who are you!? I wont let you eat me!" running back into the room and slamming the door
  83. [20:39:17] Gaige taps her hooves on the desk "i like her"
  84. [20:39:40] Arty_Shortfeather "She's got attitude, I give her that."
  85. [20:39:59] Sammy facehooves, getting up and walking to the place the stallion went, ”hey, is this 'doc' a yellow mare with blue mane?”
  86. [20:40:44] Mad_Modd the stallions comes trotting over to the door with a sigh "Found her..." knocking on the door "It's just us. Nopony want to eat you... cept for that maybe that crazy one.... wait. No nopony wants to eat you."
  87. [20:42:49] Gaige sighs "does nopony accept i am not crazy?"
  88. [20:43:15] Mad_Modd "No"
  89. [20:43:46] Gaige sighs and shakes her head
  90. [20:44:44] Sammy pats Gaige's neck with a hoof, ”you say you're a genius, right? all the real geniuses were crazy somehow.”
  91. [20:45:33] Gaige blinks "even Twilight?"
  92. [20:46:18] Mad_Modd the yellow mare pokes Arty "You're not gunna me right?"
  93. [20:46:23] Sammy smiles, ”especially Twilight.”
  94. [20:47:49] Arty_Shortfeather "No, I'm not gonna eat her."
  95. [20:48:57] Mad_Modd "Yay! Now why are you in my office? I have important... things to do."
  96. [20:49:48] Arty_Shortfeather takes the robot corpse from her backpack and puts it on one of the tables
  97. [20:50:16] Sammy blinks, looking to the mare, then Gaige, ”In fact, with you and her, we seem to have twilight's and pinkie's crazy all in one room.” he then smiles to the mare, ”I have another, if that's not enough.”
  98. [20:52:17] Gaige shrugs "lets see if she lives up to the name" she watches the Yellow mare
  99. [20:53:06] Mad_Modd she squees and snatch up the two bots "How did you get these!? I've been trying to getoneforyearsbutnoponyeverdidgetoneevenwiththerewardandtherewardsthisisjustfacinating *GASP* BITZ!" and she scurries off, digging through the remains of the bots. The stallion just grins "You'll have to excuse Shoe String she's a bit excitable... and crazy..."
  100. [20:53:36] Lucky_Wrench looks around the room, "That's ok... we're used to crazy."
  101. [20:54:23] Sammy smirks, ”heh, I've seen worse.”
  102. [20:56:35] Arty_Shortfeather scratches her chin. "Does that mean we get a reward?"
  103. [21:01:36] Mad_Modd "I suppose it dose." leading the group back outside "Wait here, I'll be right back with your reward."
  104. [21:02:36] Arty_Shortfeather happily rubs her talons together. "Oh fancy!"
  105. [21:09:17] Lucky_Wrench follows, "It's not a bullet to the head is it?"
  106. [21:10:56] Mad_Modd he returns with a bag of caps "Here you go hundred fifty caps for two bots. Fifty cap asshole tax. Now don't cause ANY MORE TROUBLE!" and he stomps off, the guards leaving
  107. [21:11:56] Gaige picks up the caps "who is good at selling things?"
  108. [21:14:07] Arty_Shortfeather "I'm not. But I still want my share."
  109. [21:15:57] Lucky_Wrench hmms, "Ammo... and guns too."
  110. [21:16:05] Gaige tosses a bottlecap at arty

  112. [21:51:37] Sammy deadpans at Gaige, ”oh, that's /totally/ a fair share.”
  113. [21:53:28] Gaige giggles and shrugs "so i used to barter a few times at the market at moonglade, any of you know how to barter?"
  114. [21:54:31] Arty_Shortfeather shakes her head "Back at home, we got stuff as we needed."
  115. [21:55:21] Gaige nods "allright" she tosses the caps to arty "you are now the cap mule, but i will buy and sell ok?"
  116. [21:56:11] Arty_Shortfeather puts the 150 caps away "Gee, fine."
  117. [21:56:59] Gaige makes her way to the shop
  118. [21:57:11] Arty_Shortfeather scurries along
  119. [21:58:01] Mad_Modd the shop keeper is happy to see customers, helping the group with what they were looking for
  120. [21:58:06] Sammy wingshrugs with a wince and follows
  121. [21:58:50] Arty_Shortfeather snoops around, looking for stuff and also asks for 556 rounds
  122. [22:00:01] Gaige puts on her best smile and looks at the shop-keep "so, do you have a defender module Levitation talisman? they where used for the mister handy robots"

  125. [22:02:37] Gaige sighs "they never have what you need... do you have any robot parts?"
  126. [22:02:53] Mad_Modd "Nope"
  127. [22:04:02] Gaige taps her hoof to her chin "springs? oh and a machete or long blade?"
  128. [22:04:27] Arty_Shortfeather looks up from snooping. "How a bout flak or bullet proof vests?"
  129. [22:04:56] Mad_Modd he digs around behind the counter a bit "Ahhhh...... nope"
  130. [22:06:45] Arty_Shortfeather "What about 5.56mm rounds?"
  131. [22:18:50] Mad_Modd after some quick bartering our group is faced with a decision, how will they even survive, let alone go looking for the expedition. For not getting shot the group receives 500xp
