  19. Hyper Voice is Gardevoir's primary STAB. It hits a very powerful 117 Base Power (Pixilate Boost) and hits all of the foes on the opposing side, as it is a spread move. Taunt allows Gardevoir to catch Trick Room users off guard and just ruining their set up. Hidden Power Fire allows Gardevoir to OHKO Scizor and heavily dent Ferrothorn. Thunder Wave offers speed control in case you can't OHKO certain threats or to just hinder set up sweepers. Psyshock gives Gardevoir another STAB option, though you won't be using it as much as Hyper Voice likely. Destiny Bond allows to get the upper hand against attackers targeting it, as it'll allow it and the opponent attacking to fall. Memento plays a similar role as Destiny Bond, just a last ditch move before getting KO'd. This allows Gardevoir to just not be a sitting duck and actually do something before falling.

  25. The EV spread of 152 HP / 248 Def / 108 Spe allows you to live a Jolly Bisharp's Iron head on 1%, which can allow you to OHKO with a Hyper Voice. That is with a Modest nature, though. You also outspeed it by 1 point (when Mega). This also allows you to take
  26. Trace is a good ability to stick with as you can sometimes pick up a useful nature such as Speed Boost or Intimidate. The 0 IVs in Attack allow Gardevoir to take less damage from Foul Play.

  29. USAGE TIPS
  30. ==========
  31.
  32. It is usually best to have Gardevoir in the middle, as Hyper Voice will be able to hit all of the opponent's Pokemon. If you do see a threat to it, try to place it out of range of the threat's attacks. Of course, this wouldn't allow you to hit that specific threat but you won't be taking heavy damage from them. Though it boasts quite the defensive stats, its defensive typing doesn't allow it to switch in to attacks as easy as other dedicated walls such as Blissey or Amoonguss.

  38. Gardevoir appreciates support from Follow Me / Rage Powder users such as Amoonguss, Volcarona or Clefable. They can redirect attacks that may prevent Gardevoir from being as effective. Clefable isn't really the most optimal choice though, as it carries the same steel and poison weakness as Gardevoir, meaning whatever it redirects will likely wither it down / KO it was well. Steel-Types such as Aegislash, Magnezone or Heatran make for great partners, resisting steel-type attacks and being immune to poison-type attacks, allowing them to easily switch in or shift over in Gardevoir's slot. Be wary of its relatively low speed though, as a lot of faster threats will be able to outspeed it before shifting.

  44. This is just an idea I came up with in my head and it works pretty well on the ladder, I will say! I hope you all enjoy using this set, later. :]
