  1. Love is an universal ideal. Love technically has no form in itself but can be manifested. So there is the capacity for love to be unequal, i.e ones love is closer to the ideal than the other. Also, there are many different ways of viewing love, to some love is lust, there are lesser forms of love. Anyway I cant really argue with the video because it says ' Love is love' which is sort of a vapid statement. Also, these concepts are all nebulous, intrapersonal and ineffable so its like fighting mist.

  3. Also Love to some does have a gender, race, sexuality etc, because part of love is commitment. Love purely based on passion is known to many as selfish love and used to be frowned upon because it damaged small communities. I suppose its ok now because communities dont really exist. Anywho, to some they has an ideal of what they want their family and community to be like and therefore their discrimination is actually a manifestation of their commitment to that ideal. Eg you might not date a disabled person because you want healthy children, you dont date a person who is aesthetically or culturally diferent to you because you want to have children with a strong sense of identity, you dont date the same gender because you want your own children. These are all legitimate reasons even though its obviously not a iron rule, we are talking about preferences. You dont have the right to tell someone to live by an ideal that is more agreeable to you, its fundamental for people to project themselves on people around them.

  5. regardless this is all pointless exercise as the video doesnt define love it just says a meaningless universal you cant disagree with then pushes its agenda through it. Might as well say 'hugs have no gender' or 'dents have no race'.
