  1. Hello rosalinda316 here, I'll be reviewing your plot today.
  2.
  3. Terrain: Your terrain is quite nice, good job!
  4.
  5. (I stole this from my super review)
  6. Structure: Structure refers to a lot of things, usually though, a structure is a building of some sort. Large scale structures are often easier to do because you can put more detail onto the outside of your build. (Please keep in mind that your structure is judged based on the outside, not whatever is on the inside; though inside decorations are nice). Detail is usually created by patterns on the walls with slabs or stairs. Detail can also be made by making bushes or flower pots (not the items, but things like these: http://i.imgur.com/La81xtW.png )
  7.
  8. Try to add more depth and detail to your build as in add more layers to the wall and give it a more defined shape, then maybe you could add the very small details in your build. Usually for new builders I recommend following these easy steps for building a simple house:
  9. -Step 1: Do the outline of the building (house, tower, etc..)
  10. Example: http://gyazo.com/722eef1311518bf95f3f3f6de824b91e
  11.
  12. -Step 2: Search for a good block pallete and start filling in the house
  13. Example: http://gyazo.com/abb16edf6d6b5de57293ae801b07bf64
  14.
  15. -Step 3: Start adding in the final details and adjusting the shape of the building (if needed).
  16. Example: http://gyazo.com/4a9dffeb49e9bc4e66e68ab8374482a4
  17.
  18. (Your trees are custom made, but could use some work)
  19. Organics: Organics are live things, usually trees, but also things like large flowers, animals... you get the idea. Bonemealed trees will not rank on this server. Make your own. Please note, bigger trees are easier to build realistically, in that you can put more detail into the branches and leaves. A good tip is to watch plutouthere's youtube videos. He is a master tree builder. Before you start, another good idea is to look up source pictures of your tree and try and build something like that.
  20. For a basic tree, you can start by making a trunk and then curving it whichever direction you want. Make sure the trunk is wider at the base (like a real tree) http://i.imgur.com/tP5SeC2.png Be sure the tree curves and moves in a 3d way, it is not a drawing so feel free to have the trunk move.
  21. Next come the branches. These are much thinner and spread the tree out more. (I did them in oak to show more easily how they look) http://i.imgur.com/eOk9woh.png
  22. Don't forget about the roots of your tree. Don't make them too large or too small, try and make them match the tree you're doing. (I did them in birch so they'd be easy to see) http://i.imgur.com/1zq5U7d.png
  23. Depending on the type of tree you're going for, your leaf style might change. Willows for example, have draping leaves. Oaks have leaves that completely cover the branches. I built an oak styled tree here http://i.imgur.com/skCTh51.png Please note that the leaves are not a giant square around the branches. The leaves mold around the branches, but they also connect to the other leaves to make the tree seem more filled out and less like it has green fingers.
  24. Knowing all that, you should be able to go out and make a decent custom tree. When in doubt, look up videos online.
