Shoreline Stories (Part 2)

After having an early dinner (a turkey sub for you and a bowl of clam chowder for Mari), a quick runthrough of the house rules (don’t break anything, keep your room at least relatively clean, etc.), and an invitation to go work out with Mari three times a week (once she told you that she normally wakes up at three in the morning to go exercise at the beach, you decided to reconsider), you both turned in for the night.

In the middle of the night, you jerk awake for some reason. After rolling over to look at your clock (1:28 AM… at least you still have time to sleep before your job interview), you notice that there’s something wrapped around your legs and torso. Several long, muscular somethings. With suckers on them.

You look down a bit and notice that Mari is asleep in your bed, her tentacles wrapped around you, resting her head on your shoulder with a content smile.

Three things come to your mind. One: Scylla cuddles are comfy as fuck. Two: Mari is really cute when she’s asleep. Three: You should probably wake her up.

You reach over and sort of gently poke her on the arm, but she doesn’t stir. You shift over to get a better angle and shove her shoulder gently, and Mari yawns and slowly opens her eyes.

“Nnf… morning, Anon… how’d you slee-”

She looks down and sees that her tentacles are wrapped around you.

“...am I in your bed?”

“Yes.”

She quickly jumps out, nearly pulling you out of the bed and onto the floor with her.

“Oh god, I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to get in with you, I just sleepwalk a lot! D-did I do anything lewd?”

After getting yourself untangled and reassuring Mari that (as far as you know) she didn’t do anything but snuggle you, she sits down on the floor, blushing.

“Look, I’m so incredibly sorry about this. I’m a really awful sleepwalker, and if I ever do something like that again, feel free to kick me out of your room. I don’t want to disturb you or do anything improper while either of us are asleep.”

You reassure her that you’ll make sure to wake her up if she ever comes into your room in the future, and she stands up, still blushing a bit.

“Thanks, Anon. Anyways, get some sleep. I’ll wake you up for breakfast. Sorry about all this...”

After Mari leaves the room, you roll over and drift off to sleep again, wondering if you should admit that you actually kind of liked the snuggles.
