▹BACKGROUND;
     ✦ born to two scientists, naho was their most special creation (and 3 years later, her brother was later a close second). growing up naho lived a peaceful life. her parents were very loving and did all they could to let her grow to her full potential, which she surely did. even in her early school years, naho showed great intelligence. and not only was her mind brilliant but so was her darling personality. naho has always been a sweetheart and her parents couldn't be prouder. though, they still put a lot of pressure on her. it was towards the middle of her 8th-grade year, that they started to "encourage" her a bit more than before. they wanted her to prepare to skip a grade, so she could advance to high school sooner. it was probably her hardest year yet. she's always excelled with her grades but skipping a grade isn't exactly the easiest thing. even if the work isn't hard, there's still a lot of it that has to be done. naho didn't really want to skip a grade, she knew it would mean not getting to see her friends as much. but, she still did it. she's never once disappointed her parents, and she didn't want to start then. none of the other kids were even surprised that she was able to skip the grade though. that didn't change the fact that she was nervous about the whole thing. she hadn't ever really talked to this grade so it was like she had to start over (but not actually cuz they all knew her as the star student). however, it was thanks to her skipping a grade that she met her best friend, mark lee. her and mark got super close in no time and haven't stopped being close since. he was like another brother to her. she's spent plenty of nights (secretly) face timing mark with tears in her eyes while he comforts her over all the stress she has. nowadays she talks to him more than her own parents (which isn't too surprising). she lives in this nice big home and hardly notices when her parents aren't there. even when they are there, they're still working. it just seemed to her that as she got older they became less close and they just expected more out of her. all the more they communicate are through sticky notes. they leave them on the fridge and her door, but they're always boring stuff involving school. she somehow managed to get used to having the house to herself (other than her brother) and sometimes even prefers it. though, she's still her sweet and innocent self, despite all the pressure she gets from her parents, and thats all that matters to her.

     ✦ ahn naho is the sweetest of the sweet, and if you ask anyone who knows her name they'll tell you the same. she's well known for her angel-like personality and her insane amount of smarts. growing up she never really had problems with school work and getting along with others. a lot of her peers see her as the full package, she's sweet, smart, and even pretty cute. everyone just seems to love her. but no matter what naho will always be extremely humble. she could never put herself above everyone else. she's too soft and pure to think selfishly. just the thought of being like that makes her feel guilty. she's someone who's very patient, except with her best friend. she'll smack mark if she needs to. honestly, mark is probably the most important person in her life (except her big fat crush LOL). she's kinda reserved around others, but with mark, she can just let loose around him and not stress about things. which even if he can be a nuisance sometimes, she'll always have a soft spot for him. she has a soft spot for a lot of things though, /important/ things. like squishing cheeks. she really likes to squish mark's cheeks, and really likes to have her cheeks squished (even though no one does). naho is just someone who's overly soft and she can't help it. she's too innocent for this world and no one understands why she's here and not in heaven. she doesn't have a bad bone in her body. she even gets along with all the teachers, even the old crappy ones!! she just naturally attracts others. whether it be her brains and learning ability or her delightful presence, she's definitely a crowd favorite.

         ▹ alright, so the fattest plot twist is that jeno also likes her! this started in middle school when the two were in the same grade (which was actually before she liked him) buuuut once she skipped a grade and wasn't even in the same school (right? middle and high school are two buildings?? if not ignore this) he kinda.. forgot. however, once he was in his freshman year the tables turned and naho got a raging crush on the boy. it was when she and mark were looking through an old yearbook and he was pointing out his friends. of course, naho has met plenty of his friends, but she only really hung out with donghyuk (and he's a handful). so mark thought it would be fun for them to all hang out, but naho wanted him to tell her about each of them a little. she hadn't known much about jeno, despite originally being in the same grade. but, just hearing him talk about jeno made her a little flushed and after seeing a picture on mark's phone she was swooning. THOUGH, once they met in person she was head over heels. her crushes were always small before, but she could already tell she was in deep. which jeno also noticed some lingering feelings for her but just pushed them away... but not really...

         ▹ so like any other crush, it just gets worse. as the two hang out more the more their feelings grow. and with the whole letter fiasco, it just becomes obvious (more than it already was). so jeno decides (mark decides*) that he should just tell naho. and like just hearing mark tell her jeno wants to talk makes her super anxious, which isn't a good look on her. though, in the end, naho drags herself all the way to meet him after his practice (nearly crying tbh) to hear him out. which she's glad she did, cuz it was a bunch of uwu mush and she loved every second. however (big however), they gonna play it cool and not rush anything. so basically it's just out in the open that they like each other, but aren't a couple (even though they'll act like one).

         ▹ by now, you can even tell when they're just thinking about each other. they get those big heart eyes just a dreamy aura goin on. they're like a power couple around the school. they don't bother trying to hide it anymore either. it's like they'll forever be in the puppy love phase (which they have been since the middle). they just have a good understanding of each other and adore the fuck out of each other. like has there ever been such a gushy couple?? i mean naho only gushes about jeno around mark and, well, jeno. so she still has things under control, but jeno will talk about her all day to his friends and teammates. they do little things for eachother like bring the other their favorite snack or just cute texts randomly during the day. honestly, jeno brings a different light to naho. sure she's friends with everyone, but she was only ever close with mark. now, she has jeno!! AND jeno has her!!! its a win-win ladies and gents.
